After a long day of traveling, missed connections there was a discrepancy with our reservation upon arrival. In addition the hotels appearance was not great as it is currently under construction adding additional rooms. This could have been a disaster, but it was not. The manager and hotel staff at Monchapet were warm, friendly and attended to all the details to honor the reservation. We were greeted each morning with our choice of cafe, tea or chocolate and fresh croissants and bread. The hotel is located with in walking distance of lovely Dijon. Restaurants, churches, parks the holiday lights were very accessible by foot. I would recommend Monchapet.

Perfect place for stayover on a way to/from South of France from/to UK. Hotel has free wifi, room service, English speaking personnel. If hotel food is not your thing - there are restaurants in the area, plus L'Eclerc is nearby.

Bog standard hotel, nothing special - our room was a smoking room which we didn't want but were given no alternative. No cot was provided even though we requested it, and there was no lift so we had to go up and down the stairs 4 times to get everything up to the room with no help from any staff. Breakfast is quite varied and reasonable value.

We arrived at 10.20 at night. Dinner stopped at 10.30 so by the time we checked in and found our rooms we missed it. When I called to order from the room service menu (in room brochure said food available to midnight) the lady who answered told me I was too late and really just tried to end the call. However, the lady on reception was lovely, took my […] order and the order arrived (minus the wine, which I had to go back and collect). I also thought the website suggested the superior rooms I booked had 2 (proper) double beds per room (we had 2 rooms for family of 5) but in fact both had double beds & a sofa bed. Pool closed, which had been a major consideration in booking! Was nice enough though and was clearly a popular stopover for north to south travellers, breakfast good, and Dijon itself very pretty. the hotel was out of the way 1970s throw back with wood chip wall paper - rooms were supposed to be overlooking the pool.. the staff moaned when i asked this.the rooms were clean, .l was told the restaurant was full.. had to go to a bowling alley next door for pizza and chips only thing local.. wouldn't stop there again

Bon séjour dans l'ensemble. Seuls points négatifs : la clim trop chaude dans la chambre (m'en suis rendu compte tard dans la nuit), et un petit malin (le précédent client sans doute) avait programmé la TV pour qu'elle s'allume à 4h00 du matin. Sinon tout ok et bon buffet de petit dèj (peut être plus de sorte de jus de fruits serait bien...).

Ce n'était pas très propre : cheveux sur le sol des WC, taches sur les murs, poussière sur les lampes des tables de nuit , sur les interrupteurs, sur la tête de lit. Taches sur la table du bureau. Vraiment pas terrible pour un 3* je le leur ai signalé. Par contre le mini-petit déjeuner à 7 € est parfait et le parking fermé aussi. L'accueil était froid […] et impersonnel. Et là ils n'y sont pour rien mais tout Dijon est en travaux pour installation du tram et la circulation est infernale en raison de tous les sens uniques et des déviations. Read more

Wij zijn in dit hotel verbleven toen we op doorreis waren naar zuid frankrijk. Het was een keurig net hotel. In de buurt waren verschillende eetgelegenheden. Voor dit doel is het hotel prima aan te bevelen.

Hotellet er billig, rommene er gode, svømmebassenget er deilig på varme dager. Frokosten som var inkludert, var noe pussig (croissanter, frukt og juice), men greit nok. Også et meget godt klimaanlegg. Litt langt til sentrum i Dijon, men gratis parkering.
