I enjoyed my short stay basically because of the partial view of downtown Dallas. I cannot rate the hotel because I did not have the opportunity to tour it; however, my stay was pleasant and it appeared the room had been renovated.

Went down to catch a Mavs, TCU football, and a Cowboys game with a few pals. The hotel and staff were great. Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Nice hotel overall, although the hallways are musty and dank, the room was cool and clean. The bathroom is tiny, with the sink outside in a small hallway area, not great. There was a nice view from our room, and the beds were comfortable. My main issue was noise, I could hear people in the hallway, as well as cars outside, and we were on the 17th floor. […] Thankfully we were up high enough that we weren't bothered by the noise from the club on the first floor. The day we checked in we found the TV not working, the tub not draining and the sliding closet doors off the track. Maintenance responded quickly and took care of everything, but it should have all been checked prior to releasing the room to a guest. Though sceptical due to previous reviews, this location was in the perfect spot for our trip to the House of Blues. Had I known the surrounding area was so cool we would have come earlier just to wander around! Fantastic location to the Cotton Bowl. Got to the game in just minutes because you don't have to get on the highway you can take city streets which were not crowded. The hotel was fine but apparently there is a hospital and fire station close by because the sirens were loud and frequent. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, everything the hotel could control was fine, good service, clean rooms and my air conditioner worked great which is a big plus for me.

I was pleasantly surprised with our stay, after I had read some of the reviews, I was worried, but had already booked. My husband and I were both welcomed by the front desk staff. They were friendly and speedy with their service. We did not eat at any of the restaurants or order room service,so I cannot rate this area of the hotel. Our room was on the […] 15th floor and from the looks of it, had probably been renovated recently. The carpet looked clean and the room smelled fresh. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great view of Reunion Tower. I did notice that as we rode the elevator, that some floors had an "older", "musty" smell when the doors would open. I can only imagine that they have yet to be renovated. I would definitely stay here again, if I knew I'd get a newer room. The hotel is a quick walk to everything downtown. We had a great weekend! Good. When I arrived, the hotel was doing maintenance and there was a loud hammering and drilling that was unbearable. The buffet breakfast service was terrible. There were only 2 waitresses who could not keep up with the work - impacting the service quality. Location was excellent.

Rooms were not consistent; some have refridgerators, alarm clocks, coffee makers; others don't. We rented 3 rooms; 2 were missing fridges, one missing coffee maker, one missing alarm clock. Internet service in business center was terrible; could not check in for flight or print boarding passes as service was too slow and intermittent. However, a staff […] member at desk let me go behind counter and print boarding passes. 90% of staff was polite and helpful. Overall, I would look elsewhere as the hotel rooms need updating. Several things broke in my room (hot water faucet handle ready to fall off, shower curtain rod hanging on by who knows what, room had a dank odor when we first went in); overall, i was disappointed but we managed anyways. It's a nice hotel, just older. They keep it well maintained and updated. Beds are comfy and decor is good. It's modern. Right downtown, you need to pay for parking. I would stay here again maybe, but personally I think you could find better for the price. It has a really nice night club and bar there too. You won't be disappointed to stay here.

This hotel is located right at downtown so it makes it convenient but other than that, I wouldnt recommend it. The lobby is nice but the rooms need some serious upkeeping. The walls are dirty, there was cement splashed on the door handle to the bathroom, ceiling needed some work on. The worst part is that the majority of the improvements that would […] make this hotel be like an actual Crowne Plaza standard is a few touch up stuff, like a little painting.. I would highly advise anybody staying there to be mindful of your surroundings, not inside the hotel but on the streets. There is a McDonalds across the street to the left of the hotel that although is a very convenient location, I would not recommend anybody to go there. I went there with my mother and my child and the place was full of people asking for money and bothering people all around. Cops came in a few times to take what seemed to be addicts out of the restaurant. It was a very scary experience. Oddly enough, a friend that lives in the area told me afterwards not to go to that McDonalds because a lot fights happen there?!? I do have to say though, that the restaurant in the lobby area is very good. They were very slow to bring us our meals (the place was empty?!?) but the food was delicious. Overall, I feel that there are a bunch other hotels in the area that offer the same thing or better that this hotel for the same prize or cheaper. I would not stay there again. Read more

OK overall, wouldn't reccommend for families, pretty active night life around there with a large night club located in the hotel. security was good though just alot of night life crowd there. Even so it was quiet except for the usual down town traffic noise, amazing how much can get through the window 10 stories up. unfortunately we ended up with a […] Handicap room which I didn't realize.
