I can not say enough positive things about our stay. We came to watch the Pittsburgh Penguins play the Boston Bruins and ended up in the midst of the city being locked down. It made no negative impact on our trip though. The hotel was beyond accomodating, from the pleasant doormen to the concierge that found restaurants nearby that were open despite […] the lock-down. The hotel rooms were cleaned twice a day; the views were spectacular and was walking distance to every site in the city. No need for public transit. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I had planned a trip a few weeks before at a different hotel, spent twice as much, and it wasn't even half as nice as The Boston Harbor Hotel. Wish I had booked that trip here. My boyfriend and I came to stay and just have a few days in Boston, this hotel couldn't have been more perfect!! We don't have tons of money, but this hotel is worth every penny. The […] staff is super nice and accommodating. We felt very welcome. Our room was super nice and clean, awesome bathroom with his/hers toiletries. We had a great view of the harbor. The TV was small, but we didn't come here to watch TV, so that was OK. Room service food was a little pricey, we didn't indulge in room service, we were so close to awesome restaurants we didn't need to. We didn't try any of the hotel restaurants or bars, but they did smell good and seemed to have good crowds. Room came with a fridge, total plus!! The pool and spa were great as well, with fully equipped locker rooms. Security after hours so not just anyone can walk into the hotel, or on the elevators after midnight. Very nice! Totally close to everything, walking distance to North End, Aquarium, Quincey Market, Chinatown. Parking was very close and reasonable. My only "complaint" is that the elevators smelt of "old lady perfume". Could have been an old lady in there before us, who knows. Not a big deal. Not only is the food, service, and quality of the staff important but the location to access all forms of transportation was excellent. There are a lot of thoughtful touches designed to enhance guests' comfort, such as providing packets of laundry soap and stain remover - also antiseptic hand wipes, handy for use while out & about […] during the day. Twice-daily maid service was great, concierge staff went the extra mile to provide assistance, we felt very pampered throughout our stay. Meritage Restaurant was very good. This hotel is amazing in every way. Let me first say me and my GF are very casual people and this is a VERY upscale place and they treated us like we walked in with 3 piece suits on. They were exceptionally friendly and because she "happened" (no really it was just in a laugh) to mention we we're celebrating her b-day they sent up a comp bottle of champagne […] and some deserts. We got a great deal on hotels.com and would go back any day. The place is very classy, and the location is SPOT ON near everything. We walked inadvertantly to "Cheers" which is in a completely different district and it was no time at all. We went to both little italy, quincy market and china town in the same day. We went to the aquarium the next which was in spitting distance of the hotel and tried to make it to the harpoon brewery but they we're sold out of passes. The concierges were amazing and knew info about things you wouldn't think of. Def try it out, even our bartender knew the place by name! Read more

Beautiful, charming, great views of the harbor, amazing staff and unbelievable comfort. Everyone was so nice, addressing us by name, we felt like royalty. I am usually not the one to complain but, our experience at the Boston Harbor hotel was not the most pleasant one. For starters, two of our bath towels provided by the BHH had hairs on them. Secondly we were awoken multiple times in the early morning hours by loud and screaming kids, not to mention the doors slamming. There cleverly located in a spot […] where after midnight, there isnt a restaraunt in site so, if your hungry plan on spending $ 18.00 for a hamburger plus, 18% gratuity, $ 4.00 for eating in your room and don't forget the tip. We were told on arrival there would be complementary water bottles in the room, non existent. They finally arrived 30 mins later after notifying room service. Our room which was the "superior city view" was very plain and basic for the money we paid. In the future, I will just stick to a more basic Hotel for accomodations.
