We booked 2 nights to stay prior to a cruise. The hotel was in a great location. We took the bus from the airport and walked a couple of blocks to the hotel. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. The staff was great and we enjoyed our stay. The roof top pool and view of the city was fantastic. We look forward to staying there again.

This hotel is over rated. The exterior and location of the hotel was excellent. However, when you consider the interior of the hotel it is a different story. The lobby and hallways were exceptions to the interior, but the rooms are definitely not as homey as expected . In the bedroom there was mildew near the vent for the air conditioner and around the floor of the bathroom door. The ceiling was peeling in the bathroom. The hotel bathroom is where the hotel needs to focus on the most. It was outdated, the bathroom had a leaky tub and the paint was peeling in the tub. There was also a build-up of dust behind the toilet paper holder and telephone case that was attached to the wall bathroom, which appeared to be there for quite some time. Overall it was an okay hotel with excellent service, except for the bathroom it definitely needs work done to it.

Stayed here for a business conference. I brought my wife and we stayed a couple extra days for fun. This is a historic hotel with modern amenities. The place is in walking distance of the convention center and the staff got us a cab in moments when we wanted to go further. Great breakfast in an over the top dining room or close to Lil Dizzys if you want to go that way. Very attentive staff and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for bedtime. Stay here

My room was back from Poydras, and the side street was quieter than I expected. The curtains are heavy enough I didn't need to sleep with a face mask. There was a mini-bar (don't move things or they'll be charged automatically) I could stash my milk in. There's no coffee maker in the room, but there is a mini-mart across Poydras open early enough. A robe, umbrella & morning newspaper are provided with the room. The tv remote came in a cardboard holder with all the channels identified on it, why don't all hotels do that. My conference was at a hotel about 5 blocks away, and the streets seemed safe enough that I walked there and back twice a day. There was a taxi just outside nearly always.

The staff were wonderful. I was initially given a room with a roll in shower and preferred a shower with a bathtub. I went to the front desk and asked for another room and the clerk was able to find one. Loved the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on two of the four nights that I stayed there. Partook of the restaurant, exercise room and the business center. I left my shoes in the room and the hotel staff were great about arranging them to be shipped to me. I will be back.

A well maintained, older hotel conveniently located in the French Quarter. The customer service is topnotch and the staff goes out of their way to make your stay memorable. One night I came back to the hotel and was pleasantly surprised to find a very entertaining band playing in the lounge. I was in New Orleans for a conference and I was close to all activities and paid almost 50% less than staying at the host hotel. I would definitely stay at Le Pavilion the next time I visit New Orleans.

Our stay at Le Pavillon Hotel was outstanding. We're from NO, having moved this past Jan., so we were familiar with the area. The Crystal Room is one of the finest for their excellent lunch buffet. Service is outstanding. We weren't able to eat dinner there this time, but were able to get a mid-afternoon snack in the bar - terrific food and service. The 10 PM hot chocolate and peanut butter and jelly is so much more than ordinary! There are about 5 or more breads (and buns) offered for the peanut butter, plus some spreads if you don't want peanut butter and jelly. The hot chocolate is so rich and creamy, and is offered with miniature marshmallows and whipped cream. Can't say enough good things about the valet and front desk.

As many with many older hotels in New Orleans, the rooms and bathrooms are a little smaller and the amenities older, but the hotel has character. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Though the location suited my business needs, I'm not sure I would walk alone in the area in the evening; however, it is a short cab ride away from restaurants and other attractions.

This hotel is beautiful! It is about eight blocks from pretty much everything my companion and I walked to but overall pretty close. For me eight blocks isn't bad but she suffers from some ailments that made walking uncomfortable. In August, yuk! Most of the comments I hear about the evening snack are about the sandwiches but their hot chocolate is the best I have ever tasted. The pool is nice and in the evening on the rooftop it's quite pleasant. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The half-door in the shower is not a good idea. Lastly, the staff, and I mean the ENTIRE staff was friendly and informative and appeared to love their jobs.

The staff always went out of their way to help and say Good Morning or Good Evening. They would even ask if we would need directions any in the City. And at 10pm we enjoyed the peanutbutter sandwiches, milk and hot chocolate. Great stay!!!
