"Great choice for stay in NOLA"
The hotel staff was unbelievable. They came to our room at least 3 times during the day to make sure we always had a full supply of clean towels, that the room was orderly and that any trash was collected. The hotel is within a 10 minute walk of the French Quarter and some of the finer restaurants in the business district. We would definitely stay there […] again. "One of the best hotels in NOLA"
We stayed here because we got a bargain rate during a Hotels.com 24-hour sale. Rates like the one we got don't come along often for a hotel of this caliber so we jumped on it. The hotel reminds you of an old-world European style hotel that makes you feel as if you've been transported out of the US. Staff from the front door to the front desk is courteous […] and attentive to every need. We chose to park our car overnight which was super easy. Check in was quick and when we arrived to our room, wow. It is decorated luxuriously that we almost didn't want to leave. Hotel is in great proximity to fabulous restaurants, entertainment venues, the French Quarter and even Superdome and Smoothie King arena. Had we not eaten dinner so late, we would have gladly partaken in the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches placed out in the lobby from 10-11 pm, along with milk and hot chocolate. If you can afford to stay, why stay anywhere else. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Elegant and Stately Hotel"
I was immediately overwhelmed by the attentiveness of the staff as soon as I pulled into the valet parking area of La Pavillon in New Orleans, Louisiana. Upon passing through the lobby to the elevator, I peeped into the bar and restaurant area and was equally impressed by the old world charm of this magnificent hotel. The room was well-appointed and […] meticulously clean. There was a pool on the roof of the hotel and an impressive view of downtown New Orleans. I will definitely be staying in the future. "room location noise level"
the hotel was beautiful except there was work with ladders and other obstacles in lobby. one elevator working. the service excellent . the actual comfort of room great except the one thing that ruined our anniversary trip was that the room service 2-3 rooms down. all night could hear the rolling of carts are the elevator . our room was next to elevator. […] the food was very good in the bar. but bar way understaffed people waited while bartender left area to attended to 2 intoxicated customers wanting to entertain their wants while other guest became irritated and left, The peanut butter and hot chocolate a must. the parking way over priced $39.95 plus $5,00 tax and $5.00 tip took away from the good bargain getaway for someone that lives nearby for our 25 year anniversary. iconic hotel its terrible that in slow months does not cater more to locals . I've lived in south LA my entire life, but have never stayed at La Pavillion. This was a one of kind experience. The staff was amazing and the hotel is absolutely stunning. A must is the Sunday brunch. Delicious!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
From the complimentary slippers to the cookies after check-in, my stay was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I booked this hotel as a wedding gift for my sister, so this is her review: "Gorgeous interior, interesting history & traditions, great service & fantastic rooftop view. Be aware of the parking costs though..."Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best deal in New Orleans"
Great old hotel, great rooms, attentive staff can't ask for more except its also a great deal.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A good choice for conference and leisure"
Got a good deal on the rate as this was an overflow hotel for a conference near the Superdome. Staff were friendly and helpful, and prompt with service. Concierges were efficient . Hotel is a bit run-down (but 100+ years old, so you can't be too surprised at that). Quiet so long as you're at the back of the property, the front is on Poydras and there's […] a LOT of loud traffic out there. Easy walk to French Quarter, Superdome, riverfront and streetcar lines. Would stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Central and safe location and has superb facilities and amenities We really enjoyed every moment of our stay at Le Paviolion. The 10 PM tradition of meeting in the lobby for a treat was a nice touch toour stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely, Antique-est, and Baroque hotel!!!"
Our stay was lovely and comforting surprise! My husband and I just got married and were on our Mini-Moon road trip. We arrived to the hotel quite late, almost 1am. We informed the front desk of arrival prior and when we arrived to the hotel there was valet and the front desk staff was wonderfully friendly, wish I could remember the name of the staff […] member. We had mentioned to him that we were newlyweds and when we headed to the bar/lounge, he surprisingly bought my husband and I a glass of champagne!! That was so wonderfully nice and a treat!!! We were also informed of the rooftop pool and had bathrobes wating for us in our room. We were also were able to order room service 1am in the morning since we had not eaten dinner at all. AND let me tell you, the king bed was super duper comfy! We melted just laying there and didn't even had the energy to head to that rooftop pool!! It was in downtown, close to all the sites. However, one minor thing was the bath tub drain did not really drain and was clogged, other than that I would have given this hotel 5 for everything!!! We will definitely come back again and try that rooftop pool! I highly suggest others to stay at this lovely hotel, it will be a stay well paid for! :) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. The location is good as it is only a few blocks from the French Quarter and the Superdome.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is in a good location between French Quarter and Warehouse District, and convenient to many transit lines. The hotel itself is well kept and the rooftop pool is a nice on a hot sunny day.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Charming, though musty"
Great staff, decent location (central business district - few blocks from Canal and Bourbon), comfortable, old-French decor. Unfortunately had to air out our clothes from the musty odors in the room. Hallways were fine, but they should probably recarpet and/or repaint - few other ways to be fully rid of the smell that was like old, wet shoes. Tip: go […] to Mother's for breakfast (24/7), but go for the food and experience, not so much for the service. PB&J sandwiches were a nice touch Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Wow, how nice it was to revisit this amazing hotel for our ten year wedding anniversary. We also got engaged here ten years ago! To the personal greeting at the door with the bellman to admiring the architecture and the "whatever you need " Attitude of staff . This place will always hold a special place in our hearts. The cuisine is exquisite. Make […] time for coffee and beignets. Only place we will stay. !! Hit of New Orleans. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I love the hotel and I found it close to everything we want to visit. Nothing is really far away. Will definitely use Le Pavillion as my next hotel on my next visit to New Orleans. Everyone at the hotel was wonderful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The pool area needs some work and maybe tuch ups of paint. Nothing major, the rest was great!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"not overly excited"
The lobby is gorgeous! But that is where the wow-ness ends. Really not worth the money. Rooms outdated and bathroom was very disappointing. Customer service was great and love the personal service, but much more can be done to preserve the uniqueness of the hotel and still update and clean it better. There was hair in the bathroom, the robes need to […] be replaced or at the very least, bleached, and the air conditioner vents need to be cleaned. Overall, it does not live up to its name and lobby appearance. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"We are definately staying here again!"
This is definitely a 5 star Hotel! A Class all the way! The very best value for your money. You will never regret staying at Le Pavillon. The service was impeccable and food was delicious! We were very impressed with this Hotel. More people should stay there when visiting New Orleans.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great service! However lame parking tax fee"
Loved it except during checkout. Parking is a rip off but what can you say I had great memories. Strongly reccomend this visit. Just expect to pay a heavy parking fee and Tax.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall great place to stay. It was a solid 4 star stay. They have a pool on top of the hotel in the middle of downtown which provides a great view. They also have PBJ's at night for free.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"One Night in NOLA"
Spent one night in New Orleans with family. Neat hotel. Wanted a hotel with character a,little off the beaten path and this hotel was perfect. We walked to the French Quarter and Jackson Square during day. Kids swam in the pool on rooftop. Note that the pool is smaller than the pictures make it seem! All in all the stay was great! Service was supreme! […] We will be back! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Tiny, dirty pool"
The hotel is old but elegant. The main complain I have is the pool area. It is very small and crowded, no enough room for sitting around and relaxing. Also since there is only one pool (very small) it is crowded with children. Also, some of the "guest" were bathing in their underwear only and smoking inside the pool, the hotel staff didn't seem to care […] about proper dress codes and manners of the guest. Not very likely to come back. Overpriced from my experience. I stayed the next day at another corporative for cheaper and with a much better experience. Le Pavilion water to charge $300 for an additional night, thank goodness we didn't fall for that Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"We loved this hotel"
We loved everything about this hotel. Located in walking distance to the French quarter, and it was only blocks away from a street car and bus stop to bring you to other parts of town. It had an old-fashioned French feel to it (originally threw us off), but the hotel was modern/updated on everything that mattered - most comfortable beds, nice gym, new […] TVs, etc. It was the little things that made the experience really stand out - restocked toiletries every day, friendly staff, snacks at night (pb&j and hot chocolate - we didn't even eat but it was a really nice gesture), let us have a late checkout (of 2:30 pm), pull down service, etc. Even though I wouldn't think twice about some of these things, it's a nice touch when provided. We would absolutely stay here again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great as usual"
Have never had a bad experience staying here. The staff is great and the valet parking is on site and 25 hour attendant where most hotels in New Orleans are not. There is a lot of construction in the area right now but it wasn't much of a problem.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The location was within easy walking distance of a number of attractions. The accommodations were very clean and luxurious. We felt like we were treated as special guests. I would highly reccommed it to other travelers.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We brought three small young children (10, 8, 1) and stayed two nights here and everything was excellent! Went for an overnight girls trip. Hotel was clean and service was great. A little further from the Quarter than I would have liked, but overall a good stay!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Rooms are a bit in need of updating. Bathrooms very old and outdated fixtures and tile. Beds and linens very clean and comfortable,Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had a great time. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, spotless. very friendly staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff at the Le Pavillon Hotel is second to none. The age of the hotel is mature, but still well-kept. The swimming pool area is a bit confined with only a limited number of pool-area chase lounges, and the hot tub was in the process of being replaced, which was also a bit noisy during the day by the poolside. However, I must say that the pool area […] has wheel-chair access for its guests including lifts to the pool-side and a lift for pool entry for guests with limited mobility, which is a well thought out plan for this amenity. The hotel is located midway between the French Quarter and the Superdome, so the location is quite nice. The concierge was extremely helpful with suggestions, and the bartender, Roosevelt is a charming and entertaining individual. Overall; the staff, beautiful lobby and dining room and appeal of the rooms will please even the most discerning guests. I enjoyed my stay in your Nice hotel! The service and the room were excellent. The coolest thing about my one-night stay was the nightly 10 p.m.- 11 p.m. gathering in the lobby for PBJ "sammiches" and hot chocolate. What a neat idea! I got a great rate, so I really feel like I made out like a bandit. This is an awesome hotel, folks. One of the great New Orleans properties.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"One of our favorites"
We always enjoy Le Pavillion when in New Orleans. One criticism is that our room key would not work for the rooftop hotel pool area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Worst Hotel Experience!!"
Everyone we encountered at this hotel, from the bellman to the bartender to the cleaning staff was incredibly rude!! I honestly thought that someone from a hidden camera show was going to pop out at any moment because it was that unbelievable. Also, the peanut butter and jelly sandwich snack was nothing more than a table set out with bowls of cheap […] peanut butter & jellies and a tray of what seemed like slices of Wonder Bread set out next to a pile of apples. My husband and I went to the restaurant at 10:50am for the breakfast buffet that the card in the room stated ended at 11:30, and we were told that they had already broken down the buffet. Every single thing about this hotel was disappointing. I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER stay there again and will advise against it to anyone that asks! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

First we would like to say cedric was so helpful and a great conversationalist. Having our robes and slippers laid out in the evening was quite the surprise. The food in the restaurant was exceptional. The ombiaunce was something we cannot say enough about. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The cleaning person even thanked us for being such clean visiters.
