My wife and I stayed here after a concert at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in downtown Indy. My biggest complaint was that Hotels.com had it listed as 10 miles from where we currently was, but after we booked and started we found it was closer to 20 miles. Overall though the hotel was nice and the workers were friendly even at midnight when we checked in. […] We didn't eat the breakfast but rather chose to sleep late then check out. We got a good deal for booking a room the day before we arrived. Check-in was quick & easy. The front desk employee was helpful in printing directions for me & answered my questions about local attractions. Traveling with a toddler & preschooler isn't always easy but the room was comfortable & located close to the elevator which made it easier for our […] kids. "Quick weekend stay"
Overall, it was fine. The entire building and the individual rooms could probably use some updating/remodeling. Our bathtub did not drain well, and we had to stand in a couple inches of water while showering. On the positive side, Cindy, the bartender/room service person was fabulous. "Quick trip to Indy"
Hotel had a pretty lobby, elevator was slow and made a grinding noise, we were afraid to ride it so took the stairs. They were dirty. No ice maker on 6th floor. We were put on the 6th floor, probably should have requested a lower floor, our fault. beds were comfortable, bathroom was very small. The Rooms had adjoining doors, and our neighbors were making […] VERY loud noises for about 10 minutes around 11:30 pm, kind of embarrassing since I had my 14 year old daughter with me. No free WIFI, should have checked that out before I booked my stay. Most hotels offer free WIFI especially if your are staying in a Hilton hotel and you are a Hilton Honors member. Because I asked for senior rate, they automatically place us in a handicapped room, which I did not request. The bathroom had a tile missing and the repaired epoxy on the bathtub did not look very professional. "My experience was HORRIBLE"
The expeirence that I had this past weekend, was very disturbing for it to be a Hilton Properties. The outside of the hotel looked very nice, the main lobby when you walked it was okay, seemed to have a lot of meeting areas, but the furniture in the lobby of the hotel, was something that you would see at a hotel liquidation sale. I was looking for a hotel for my husband's birthday. I liked this one because I pay once I got there so my husband wouldn't see the charge ahead of time. My confirmation said free wifi, but it wasn't free for us. The room was very nice and comfortable. The bathroom wouldn't fit more than one person in it, but it was still very nice as well. The front lobby was clean and efficient. The hotel staff was very pleasant abd helpful, excellent customer service. The room was very good but smelled a little of cigarette smoke. The front desk didn't get call me for my wake-up as requested. The overall stay was good but want 100% worth the rate they charge. 1. I was not satisfied with my Hotel.com experience because it was not clear my reservation was not coupled to the Hilton rewards program. The fine print in terms of service probably had that stipulation but it was not obvious. Nice hotel. Free wifi never worked. When I called to advise of this I was transferred to a tech support area. Wait time was to long for me to hold but I felt it wasn't my duty to report such an issue anyway. Checked in and wasn't given any instructions regarding breakfast. Went to breakfast and was welcomed in by staff. Ordered an omelette and fixed […] a plate from the buffet. After we began eating we were then advised of the $15 fee for breakfast. We went ahead and paid it but I expressed my dissatisfaction to the manager and front desk for their lack of communication regarding bfast when I checked in.
