The room was clean and well-furnished. The bathroom was attractive. The location was excellent. The breakfast was fair, but had a lot of variety - comparable with other hotel breakfasts. The staff was courteous and efficient.

Room was quiet and fairly clean... The next day we did not receive a cleaning of the room or fresh towels.. The small refrigerator was not working well and leaked water onto the carpet in the room near the bed. Access to good restaurants and the campus was excellent.

Upon entering the hotel, I was not very impressed - the front desk area and hall ways leave a lot to be desired. However, upon entering my room, my outlook completely changed. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable.

Room was quite nice and more than expected for the money. Breakfast was plentiful right up until 10 am and selection of hot/cold, fruit/breads, etc was great. Only complaint was a minor one; there was a used bath towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door on arrival.

This is a solid 3-star hotel. It is currently under renovation. We stayed in a recently renovated room and were quite pleased with it. HOWEVER, we did have a few issues: 1. The housekeeping staff removed some plastic plates/forks/cups from our room leaving us in a pinch to handle our own food (we are vegetarian and typically pick up some stuff for us to have in the room). 2. The breakfast looked quite good, but the scrambled eggs had bacon mixed in. Quite a turn-off for vegetarian or people with "non-pork" eating habits. We asked the attendant at the front desk if we could get "non-meat" eggs and received a rather non-plused "I guess, but it will take at least 30 minutes." So, no real breakfast for us. To their credit, when I talked to the mgr about both of these issues when we were checking out, he was quite concerned and offered to comp us 1 night. Nice, but the look of pure puzzlement on his face about providing a main breakfast dish WITHOUT any meat was one of sheer "boy, are you guys weird." Somehow, even in Texas :) I would expect establishments serving the public to be aware of non-pork/non-meat dietary restrictions.

This hotel is convenient with easy access to University Avenue with least amount of traffic problems (getting in and out of the hotel parking lot). The staff was very kind, courteous and accomodating. The Applebee's next door was a good place for dinner and Sonic was across the street for midnight soda runs. Breakfast was served from 7 am - 10 am and the food was plentiful right up to 10 am. They had good, fresh fruit, juice, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, english muffins, bisquits and scrambled eggs. There was more than enough good coffee all day and night. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, got our money's worth and would stay there again given the opportunity.

Our room here was comfortable and nice; while clean overall, could use more attention to details. Complementary breakfast VERY well presented & maintained; great selection. Prices here were a bit higher than other hotels around C.S., but it was worth it for the general room condition, breakfast and pleasant staff. Will stay here again!
