Great hotel - nice pool. Max's Restaurant attached to the hotel is great if in the moment it's hard to leave the hotel with your little ones to go find a meal between nap times.

The hotel is conveniently located to the freeway but is situated in such a way that you hear absolutely NO traffic noise. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating as we needed an early check-in to get ready for a wedding. The room was spacious, immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. I booked an Executive Suite for 4 nights. Went to heat up some food, no microwave. Called front desk and they brought one to my room, I had to sign a "rental" agreement for $ per day. Reallt?! Otherwise, one of the nicest HDI I've stayed in yet.

The hotel itself was very nice and comfortable. My wife's complaint about the room was the air conditioner which was very loud and it kept her up or it left the room too hot if it was not on. The food at Max's restaurant was pretty good and it had a nice happy hour menu. Overall, I liked the hotel for it's convenience.

If you want the best in Auburn then this is the place. Clean, comfortable, reasonable, compared to other places you can get an executive class room for the price of most places plain room. We have stayed here twice and will continue to come back.

The hotel was great! The only thing I could suggest is possibly being a little competitive with other hotels in the way of offering a continental breakfast or at least some flavored coffee creamers in the lobby. Otherwise, great service, cleanliness, and the staff was fabulous

My family had a 'mini-reunion' and had a wonderful time. The hotel lobby is open, and very welcoming. All the personnel were very pleasant and helpful.Highly recommend Max's restaurant, which is part of the hotel. Food was excellent, and the wait staff very friendly and attentive. Also loved the full bar!

coffee but no cups? all you really want in the morning is coffee and if not, please, need a much better reason than "no cups" this was at 8:15 in the morning --What? Front desk was wide eyed but did try to correct the issue. Best Western is the answer.

Very good overall.Staff friendly.Directions from the hotel web-site indicated the wrong side of the main road. Would stay there again if the bar stayed open later than 9p.m.:there is no bar within walking distance as an alternative.

Booked a non smoking room on hotels.com. Was given a key at the desk and opened the door to a smoking room (smelled, had ashtrays). When I called the front desk to change to a non smoking room, he said he told me he was giving me a smoking room (which he didn't) and that they had no non smoking rooms available.

I stayed at the hotel on a Sat,Sun. night and booked on Hotels.com which was recommended by the front desk agents whom informed me of a cheaper rate available through that site. I used my own laptop in the lobby/living room and had great wifi connectivity ! I was off-site visiting relatives, and didn't use any hotel amenities, but everything looked […] great.The stay was enjoyable, and uneventful. The room itself was spacious and relaxing. TV was good,coffee was not the greatest,but it is typical of hotel coffee in the room. A/C unit was loud ! Sink did not drain after about 30 seconds of water..most likely blocked past the P-trap. Soap products and towels were requested and only received the towels. Housekeepers were using guest elevators with maid carts....and it took along time to get it to the 3rd floor. My wife and I used our free night from hotel.com. When we arrived we found out that our room had been designated for a smoking room. Really? Since the hotel was sold out our room was decided last because it was third party. The room smelled like smoke and they claimed to have cleared the room but it was still very pungent.

While there are cheaper hotels in the area you definitely get what you pay for. I was in Auburn for a weekend trip and stayed at the Holiday Inn one night and the Motel 6 a second night. The Holiday Inn was far superior as far as cleanliness, comfort and smell. And for only about $30 more a night I would recommend staying here.
