We booked a stay on here through hotels.com, however once we arrived at the hotel we were charged an extra ten dollars plus tax for an upgraded building. The Hotel property said that the upgraded building had an elevator, if we wanted to carry our bags up stairs then we would not be charged but there is a ten dollar charge for an elevator in the building,how […] wrong,we then booked another night at this hotel due to its location, we had decided to go ahead pay the extra ten buck no matter what, when we tired to check back in to our room, the front desk told us that he did not see our reservation, we gave him our debut card to chagre the ten bucks. he was trying to charge a whole nights stay, we asked for our card back, the man refused to give us our card with out making chagres, then he threatened to call the cops on us, we called hotels.com at the time everything was going on,hotels.com tried calling the hotel, they would not answer the phone after a few tries hotels.com called days inn corp. Hotels,com was wonderful,the corp office was great. I would not recommend staying at this hotel, while we were there other people in the lobby were complaining about reservation. Excellent hotel. Very clean and cozy (I'm a stickler for hotel cleanliness...I have checked out early at some hotels due to filth). My only complaint is that there was very little selection for breakfast. No eggs or meat. Only miniature BBB muffins and juice/coffee.

The hotel was a fine over-night room. The price was very reasonable for a hotel so close to NY City, on a Friday night. Upon checking in, I was offered a room in the new building for an additional $10. Since this was just an overnight stay, on our way home, I declined to pay the additional fee. Wanted to be close to a local courthouse so I chose this location. Ended up going to court then next day wearing a wrinkly suit! Fortunately things worked out and my poor suit did not impact the outcome of the case. :)

It was a very nice stay. They should improve customer service at entrance because it looked like they did not wanted us there. Also why is the checkout time 11am instead of noon? That is a really big issue at the time to choose hotels, I am a regular user and one hour makes a lot of difference. I hope that can be fixed.

Rude front desk, carpets were sticky, house cleaning did a shabby job - didn't even vacuum floors on a couple of days. Towels were torn and had stains on them. Overall one of the worst stays of my life.

they remodelled the rooms but did not install a exhaust fan in the bathroom, so when you use the toilet the room stinks, it is unbearable if you not alone in the room and you will be the second person to use the toilet

room dusty and dirty, especially around bed frame and along basebords. "contenental breakfast"-used to be a really nice hot breakfast, now was supposed to be cold cereal etc., but when they set up they discovered they were out of just about everything and did nothing to remedy it. Overall, the hotel was nice, espically for the price. What usually seperates one hotel from another is the food. Probably the only complaint. But for the price I can eat out so I defenitely recommend this one.

I was a little creeped out because the cheaper rooms are in a separate building in the back, not attached to the lobby. The lady at the front desk at night was a jerk to put it nicely. It was clear that my checking in was a huge inconvenience . The lady the next morning was a lot nicer. Otherwise it was very clean and comfortable.

I booked the "upgraded" room, and it was a decent place to sleep and work at night. The room had a Flat Screen TV, a fridge and microwave. But keep in mind, this IS a two star hotel.
