Couldn't find many faults with the hotel apart from the bathroom was very small for a double sized room. Especially the shower cubicle was tiny as every time I turned around I would accidentally knock the shower off with the handle. This hotel has very small rooms (barely able to walk around the bed), and it is outside of Paris, so a bit far from the city center, although the Lle de France train takes to one of the mains connecting station where you can take other metro or RER lines.

Asnieres was a very pleasant town about 15 min train ride from the metro. Some of the floors of the hotel were under renovation but we loved the contemporary feel of the entire hotel and room. Seriously good value for money! Where else can you find a double room for just under hundred pounds for two nights (including breakfast) in Paris? Transport links are excellent: There are direct trains from nearby Asnieres-sur-Seine station to St.Lazare (5-10 min. travel) every couple of minutes. The neighbourhood is quiet, but full of good bakeries […] and special food shops. Staff in the hotel are friendly and speak English. For the money it was good. Not the cleanest of hotels or best maintained. Breakfast was fine for us. Not a huge amount of choice - ham, cheese, french bread, some jams, croisants and pain au chocalat, juuices, coffee and fruit salad, all stuff that we liked, but maybe not to everyones taste. Gare St Lazare is only 5 minutes by train, or it is 15 minutes […] walk to the nearest metro station and another 10 minutes or so into the city centre. I would like to extend a special acknowledgement and "Thank You" to Rashid, the front desk person who was simply so helpful and friendly during our stay. At first we were overwhelmed by the smallness of the elevator, coming from Australia where everything is so big and roomy. There is only room for one person and a suitcase at a time at the hotel Asnieres […] but after having stayed at two other hotels in France after Asnieres, where we had to lugg our suitcasess up 2 flights of stairs, we were so very grateful for the elevator as our suitcases were so heavy The breakfast which is included in the price of the room, is simply the best we have had in any hotel in France this trip. Overall the experience was good... The hotel is located near the Asnieres sur seine train station, about 10 minutes walk. It is a good base for visiting Central Paris as the trains are very frequent. I found this hotel to be a pleasant base for a couple of days in Paris, I'll keep the revue brief:- Staff - The staff were helpful and friendly, Reception and Breakfast staff spoke good English and the housekeeping staff understood my gesticulations! Room - The room had everything I needed for a couple of days away, it was clean, warm (December visit), […] and tidy although very small, there was probably less than 2' space each side of the bed to walk around, that said it was all I needed. the shower room was also compact, but again was ample. Facilities - The hotel boasts a very small, but never the less usable lift to all floors. WiFi is available for free, it works but you couldn't describe it as fast and seemed to drop out every once in a while. Location - The hotel is in a quiet street a short walk away from the Asnières-sur-Seine railway station which will take you to Saint-Lazare station for access to plenty of department stores and the Paris Metro underground system. This hotel is very close to the Asniere-sur-siene station which falls in the Zone 3 in Paris. There is easy connectivity from here to Saint Lazare station from where you can get connectivity to any place in Paris. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The breakfast served was good too. I would […] recommend this to anyone looking to book a good, clean hotel for a relatively cheap price, but close to a train station. The only two limitations were that the rooms were very small (micro sized, if you're used to standard American hotel rooms). If I were lying down in bed, I could reach out my hand and almost touch the wall, all the way around. The bathroom only had a shower (no tub) and it was really cramped. I'm 5'6" tall and had to struggle not to hit the wall, the curtain, the toilet, etc, as I was taking a shower. The other limitation is that the train will take you about half an hour to get into paris, proper, or about one hour and a half to get to the airport. You also have to buy a ticket or pass that will get you out this far, as the Paris transit is based on increasingly priced concentric zones, radiating from the centre. Having said this, the trains are very frequent (about every 10 minutes), they are clean, comfortable and safe. The area in which this hotel is located is very much urban and residential (i.e. it isn't located in an industrial area, like some suburban hotels in the U.S.). The place also has charm and is very clean and relatively quiet, compared to some downtown paris hotels. So, if you want to save some money, don't mind miniscule rooms and bathrooms and don't mind a half-hour train ride into Paris, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Read more

Try to get a room which are very small above the third floor facing the street, the rooms have large windows which you will need to open at night as there is no air conditioning or fans in the room. Take the underground to Haussman Saint Lazare station. Walk through the tunnels following the signs for over ground trains. At Gare Saint Lazare. Walk out of the underground station up the stairs to the train station. Take the train to Asniere Sur Seine. The Asniere Sur Seine is 3 stops (if on a local train) or the first stop if on a direct train. Walk out of the station down the road until you get to a little square which has a statue on it. Turn right walk pass the American Pizza Restaurant and take the road on your left. You will see the hotel immediately in front of you When travelling back to Central Paris go to platform C at Asniere Sur Seine. Batobus is a very good way to see Paris from the river it’s just like the Thames Clipper and a lot cheaper than the river cruises.
