When we arrived we were told there was a pet fee, which was expected. What was not expected was a fee of $100 per stay. Whether you stay one night, as we did, or 30 nights, $100 please. For shorter stays, they should adjust the per diem rate.

Very convenient location when going to Charlotte Motor Speedway or ZMax Dragway. Plenty of stores and restaurants close by. Clean room, large flat screen TV, free WiFi and wired internet in the rooms, good breakfast, staff very nice and helpful too. I would recommend getting a room toward the back of the complex away from the street, the fire station […] gets a lot of calls and is apparently very close by. Traffic gets somewhat heavy at times, allow a little extra time to get where you're going. Wasn't outrageously bad though. Had a few issues with the room: Deadbolt was broken and just spun. Blinds over the sink don't block the very bright hallway light, which shines across half of the bed. Used a bath towel for curtains while I was there. (My room was on the first floor under the stairs. I don't recommend getting one of those. Some people walk like elephants.). I was only there a few days and had a lot of things planned, so I waited until checkout to tell the front desk about the deadbolt. She made a note and said they would fix it. Overall this is a nice place to stay, and I would stay there again if I went back to Charlotte. Read more

Checked in late on 9/9/11 after a long drive from Tennessee on business. Check-in went smooth and quick, staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very well appointed, however, we discovered that the lights were out in both the under cabinet light and microwave lights in the kitchen area, which we thought would be good for a night light. No night […] light in bathroom area, either. No place to hang towels close to shower stall. A little disappointing, but a good, clean room overall. Water was hot - loved the pulsating shower head after a 6 hr drive and a full day at work. Would stay again - nice place. Read more

Upon checking in the staff was extremely friendly. We travel with 2 small dogs and our previous accomodations always reflected that stigma, travelling with dogs! Booked a room for family of 4. had a queen and a sofa pull out. Room was a bit tight for 4 people. No damper on the a/c vent which blows right on the bed. Apparent problem in all rooms as front desk was aware of the problem. Front dest was courteous and efficient.

In town for a concert, we had a quick 1 night stay at the Residence Inn. The room was clean and spacious. My only complaints were that the fruit at breakfast was sour and the ice maker in the fridge was not on so there was no ice.

This room was great. It was like a mini condo, fireplace, full size fridge, full size dishwasher, small kitchen table. Me and my wife were very pleased. Their staff was great.
