Sheraton Pleasanton - Pleasanton

We enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Pleasanton. The staff were extremely friendly and especially welcoming of our two little dogs. Our room was clean and comfortable and we will stay here again anytime we travel to the area!

The only problem was that the hotel bar did not have a tv that would get the Sunday night football game. The toilet ran occasionally and had to be jiggled, there was a lot of slamming of doors on the 4th floor that woke me up at 4:30 am on Christmas Eve and finally, the coffee maker absolutely sucked in that it would only dispense a quarter of cup of […] coffee at a time though a full 12 ounces of water had been put in the coffee maker. I had booked a 2 bed. When I opened the door noticed it was a one bed. Called the front desk and waited about 10 minutes for another room. Went in to find out it was a handicap room with no tub only a sit down shower!! It was late already and we just wanted to get in bed. Disappointing stay.

The staff was great but the hotel needs work!! The bathroom door didn't open or close, light falling off the wall so the staff moved us to a new room the next day and the bathroom light had a short and would come on by its self.

I had booked a deluxe king. When I arrived all they had was doubles and they had no knowledge of deluxe. I'm tall so I really need a king. They had none so I had to take a double. I had to press them on my deluxe reservation and show them the booking details. I eventually got a deluxe double right next to the highway. Sheraton is usually much better […] than this. Read more

it was awesome..everyone was very friendly. They also offer a free shuttle to ANYWHERE within a 5 mile radius...and right next door to west dublin bart makes this our new go to place!..the pool was a great feature as well.

This hotel and the Cities of Pleasanton and Dublin are the most wonderful places to stay when visiting the Giants at At&t park. This was my first time at Sheraton Pleasanton, but I can a sure you that it won't be my last. Infact this is now going to be my go to hotel when ever I visit SF. I loved my stay!

I arrived late in the evening and the room I was originally given had a running faucet in the bathtub. Initially, they wanted to send a maintenance guy to the room. I had to ask to be moved so I could get some rest. The room I then received was ok. Analog tv was the only available channels and the bathroom was filthy with hair and marks all over the […] counter. I had read reviews on this hotel before I booked so I was a little prepared for what this place was. It has been re-decorated but not updated or upgraded. It is a low end hotel for a Sheraton. The surrounding area with the mall and restaurants was nice. The hotel is NON SMOKING for all who think you can get a smoking room. It has been non-smoking for […] at least 7 years per the bartender and Hotels.com is still asking if you want a smoking room or not. I have contacted them to update their system as well. It was a decent hotel but nothing to brag about. The ice machine didn't work on our floor and so we reported it because they supposedly didn't know. While checking in there was a lady having a big problem checking in for a room that was handicap accessible and had called a couple days before guaranteeing that room and still she had to fight for it. Needed a place to stay for one night. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The night staff was accomodating for a late-night arrival. A very comfortable room. The window was facing the 680 freeway! So Close! Hard to sleep and light sneeking in from the freeway, but the blackout curtains did a pretty good job........Why are the Toilets so low to the ground? Difficult for those of us with any physical demands at all......

It is a very clean hotel. I am satisfied with the quality of maintenance. The room is very noisy because it faces the highway. If you can, it's a good idea to ask the room that faces the garden, not the hightway. As a foreigner tourist, the staff is a little bit not tollerant about poor English.

The Sheraton was nice but nice as nice as I expected for a "Sheraton" hotel (I have also stayed at the Sheraton Seattle and Vancouver, BC). The room was nice and modern but small. I was surprised not to have a refrigerator or microwave in my room. The main issue with the hotel was my room faced west; 200 feet from and overlooking the hway and BART. […] The traffic noice was loud...all night and kept me awake. The only other issue was that the one night that I went down to the hot tub, it was broken. The hotel was easy to find as it is right off the freeway. Check-in was a breeze and very easy to find our room. The room was nicely sized and was clean, however it smelled a bit like cigarette smoke and I wasn't offered smoking/non-smoking. But we left for our obligation and left the room A/C running and upon return later that night the smell was gone. […] The HDTV is great and the bed comfy. The only complaint is that the bathroom shower needs updating. The tiles look old and there is mildew stains in the grout. I stayed here on my way out of the bay area so I could visit with a friend one night before my trip. The people are very nice, polite, and gracious. The facility was average at best. The rooms had been redecorated, not remodeled, from last fall when I stayed her for a wedding. So, new beds, desk, etc. The carpet had muddy boot prints but was stained, […] so wouldn't come out. The room was clean but the drapes felt dirty when I had to open them. Also the popcorn ceiling was gross. The TV is now placed on the dresser, so you have to lay on your side to watch it from bed, which isn't very comfy. The pool was dirty and had leaves and bugs in it. The hotel and guestroom was very nice and we did enjoy our stay. Our only complaint was difficuly in trying to adjust the air-conditioning. Finally after setting fan to run consistently, it still ran intermittently throughout the night and kept us awake turning off and on.

Room was clean and well-appointed. Nice amenities in a business style with a long writing desk. Nice pool. Service fine. Directly across the street from a large shopping mall with various food choices. Restaurant onsite is only open for breakfast and dinner for limited hours. Others in my travel party had mishaps with their rooms, such as broken faucet […] and no water in the shower, no phone service, and sliding closet doors falling off.
