Spacious room. Convenient location. Courteous staff. Poor ventilation. Poor noise insulation. Compared to average $200 hotels in US this hotel seems like a bargain. But compared to the other hotels in Seoul in the same price category, such as Grant Hyatt or Ritz Carlton, InterContinental feels just adequate. There were people smoking on non-smoking […] floor, and the ventilation carried the stench throughout the corridor and to other rooms. The front staff promptly moved our room to a different floor. The ventilation continued to be a nuisance since you can smell the food from the other room through ventilation. The location is excellent as it's located right at the subway station. There is a department store and underground shopping mall right next to the hotel with plenty of restaurants and shopping venue. Overall a nice hotel, but I'd rather stay at previously mentioned Ritz Carlton or Grand Hyatt instead. Read more

There's really nothing to complain about. Interaction with the front desk was standard. I booked this hotel because it seemed to have the best reviews with the ability to cancel or re-book without penalty. (My plans were potentially in flux at the time). Their website doesn't tell you how to get there other than Taxi and the approx cost which is HIGH. […] I took the 10B bus and it brought me right to the door for 15,000 won (approx. $15 USD cheap for a 1.5 hour ride). I believe the 11A bus will bring you to the right location. There will be people who can help you, but if you need to confirm, each of the blue signs on the curb will have the destinations listed "Grand Intercontinental Seoul" or "Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas" was on both of those signs. You shouldn't get lost once you get there, just remember your luggage is in bottom hold of the of the bus. The hotel is connected to a convention center (COEX), the Seven Luck Casino, and a mall with tons of shopping, food,a movie theater, and Samseong Subway Station. There's a Bongeunsa Buddhist temple just north of the COEX area. Internet is paid by the minute to a maximum of 24,000 KRW per day, but I had internet access via my rental smart phone (picked up at the airport), which had 30 MBit LTE speeds. We had booked two non smoking rooms. We were checked in to two smoking rooms on the smoking floor with no other availability for the night. Asked to be moved, and the party was split into two separate floors. This was more than inconvenient as we were travelling with children. we were moved again the next day, both rooms to the same floor. Love the hotel and service. The pool and spa was great! We really enjoyed the difference in location from our previous stay downtown, but unless you are comfortable with the subway, which by the way is terrific and easy to navigate, you may wish to stay downtown or by City Hall. The service however is outstanding!

My husband & I were there or 3 nights. The bed was very comfortable, which is important for us as we both have back problems. Staff is top notch - very friendly. Gym was amazing - just sad that we didn't have the time to use it more. Highly recommend it!

This was my first time to Korea and Seoul was the first of five cities to visit. My birthday fell on one of the days we stayed at this hotel and as they scanned my passport, they must have noticed the date because the next morning we had a few plates, a beautiful coconut cake is a box, and also a congratulations card on behalf of the hotel's guest relations […] team. I was amazed to say the least. The concierge was very helpful and all of the hotel staff, including the front desk spoke great English and would recommend places for us to go at night when we were looking for convenient close by restaurants or bars. The breakfast is totally worth it, the best buffet I have seen so far. Very clean and efficient staff, with this great older Korean guy that would always greet us and seat us in the same area and after the first day he would provide us with coffee and tea respectively as he memorized the drinks that we usually drank in the morning. The samseoungdong station is located about a two minute walk outside of the hotel.. very closeby and convenient. There are makgeoli, izakaya, and paris baguette cafes all located within a few minutes walking distance if you have any late night cravings. Also, I loved the airport limousine bus, one of the concierge guys actually took our luggage all the way to the shuttle area when we were checking out. The maids are very thorough with cleaning, and did not miss a single corner or crease. I would definitely recommend this place and go again! Read more

전반적으로 친절했다. 토요일 숙박인데 저녁늦게 비즈니스룸 컴퓨터 사용이 가능한가 물었는데 저녁 10시까지 가능하다고 전화로 응답했다. 9시 30분에 가보니 비즈니스룸 문이 닫혀 있었다. 다시 전화하니 주말은 서비스 시간이 짧다고 하였다. 그 외의 서비스는 전반적으로 수준 있게 제공되었다. 아침 뷔페 식당도 괜찮았다.
