You may have a little trouble finding the hotel because it's behind a small strip mall and restaurants. Other than that, the location was ideal. Downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate were within a very short drive.

The overall condition was fine. It definitely needs a few minor upgrades. The A/C Heat unit was very dirty and I told the manager when we left that it needed cleaning. Our sheets were not changed but I don't know if that is normal if you are staying more than one night. Staff super-friendly; breakfast pretty good; room was clean and comfortable. The heater was pretty old but worked okay. This Ramada was a large disappointment in almost every way. The lobby decor was a confusing combination of county cutesy and Asian New Year. The guest room was outdated in decor, with balding stained carpeting. The bathroom had numerous cracked tiles present and both shower/sink drains did not fully work- allowing water to back up in the tub even hours […] after the shower. It was not clear on-line that the facility was composed of 3 buildings and having to walk up rickety metal stairs to get onto the proper floor was scary. The television only received about 8 channels, 3 of which were community access. On the upside I did find my king size bed confortable as were the 4 pillows provided. Hotel staff was great, breakfast was up to par. The Hotel lobby décor was an interesting combination of country kitch and oriental. This is a hotel is need of an update- the carpets were stained, the place had a sort of stale/plastic odor. The windows were dirty. The hotel part of a shopping plaza with same address. The hotel is behind the plaza so it is very difficult to see from the road. It needs a sign on the road so you know it is there. Aside from the adventure finding it, it was a good deal for the price.

The room was a suite with a jacuzzi. There was ample room to move about and the location was close to downtown Asheville although it was complicated to get around mainly because the road system in Asheville is complicated. My only complaints are that the hotel looked worn out and, although we reserved a non-smoking room, the first room they gave us […] reeked of smoke. The staff apologized and provided us with a different room that was acceptable and stated that someone most have ignored the fact that the room was non-smoking. Otherwise the mattress was so worn out that I could not sleep the whole night and the water temperature for the shower would annoyingly move from scalding hot to freezing cold without warning. The room originally given to us was dingy, old furnishings and the room and hallway smelled with disinfectant. Had room changed to non-smoking/no pets bldg. and was much nicer/updated bathroom and TV. The breakfast buffet was basic/OK. The hotel was convenient to most areas of interest.

The room reeked of cigarette smoke. The shower curtain did not fit the shower enclosure; the towels were paper thin; the bed spreads were old, shabby and didn't appear very clean; wallpaper in the bathroom was bubbling up in places; the carpet was worn and dirty. I stayed here because of the decent ratings I saw online. However, I found the rooms to be dingy and somewhat dirty. Two light bulbs didn't work. The first room they gave me was nonsmoking but smelled of smoke. So, they moved me to a different room which was quite musty smelling. Ice maker didn't work in the hallway. Easy ride via city streets or Interstate to Biltmore Estate. Convenience of purchasing Biltmore tickets at the hotel saved some valuable time. Pet-friendly policy attracted us. The breakfast included hot items, quite satisfactory and better than expected. Noisy refrigerator had to be unplugged to quiet the room for sleep.

The service was friendly and prompt, even though the hotel was pretty busy. The room was very clean and comfortable and well-suited to our needs. We enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel was conveniently located and quiet. It had a beautiful pool, but the weather was too cool and rainy to enjoy it. The breakfast there was good. Overall we were very pleased with our choice of hotels.

Stayed here for a few days while exploring Asheville. Plenty close to the downtown area and nice enough if you're not planning on hanging out in the hotel all day.

The employees do their best to help you and their breakfast is pretty complete for the price., however, they need to make sure that the rooms have what they offer you when you make your reservation. My rooms were suppose to have a fridge and microwave but, they didn't have any, when I got to one of my room one had not been cleaned […] and I requested not smoking but it smelled like smocking.
