"Close to mtn"
Hot tub was too small and had cold water coming out of some jets! Needed hot shower after skiing hard on a cold day and there was no hot water in my room! Inexcusable!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice clean hotel close to Killington"
Great location and close to everything. Less than a mile from Killington and close to all the nightlife. Will stay again.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel, overall, is good. It seems fairly clean and well kept. I did notice that the housekeeping staff is a little too exuberant with cleaning sprays as the hallways and room reeked of ammonia after they finished. The water is disgusting, I wouldn't recommend drinking it from the tap but they did have bottled water for sale at the front desk. There […] is a refrigerator in the rooms but no microwave, which is slightly inconvenient. The idea of the continental breakfast is nice but it was all kind of yucky looking. The front desk staff were all pleasant and the hotel is in a convenient location. All in not, it was an acceptable place to stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"The best place we've stayed thus far"
My fiance and I decided to take a quick trip up to Killington for the Thanksgiving weekend and we were very happy with our lodging. The staff was pleasant, the room was spacious and the bar tender John was awesome. The only odd part of our stay was having to use a space heater to heat our room. They must have been having some issues with the heating […] system, but the space heater worked well. Many people rated this hotel poorly in the past due to the decor being old....you're in Vermont...not California. We will absolutely stay at The Inn of the Six Mountains again. "Close to the mountain"
Desk clerk at check in was not in the best mood and we could see that. Got our room cards and headed to our room. The molding around the door had been pried off the frame and just tacked back into place which left us to wonder how secure the room was. The room was clean but not super clean, but not filthy. The bartender was fun to talk to and had […] some good info about the area. The breakfast buffet was bare bones, we were a little late getting there, the elder folks cleaned it out and no one came to refill the trays with food. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Recieved free upgrade to 2 bedroom suite...really spacious and homey...Will use this resort again. Bed was King size and comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location on the mountain"
We stayed off-season so things were very quiet; however the location is great! The lobby is a bit dark and dreary but the inn has all the amenities. Indoor pool is a lap pool for one person at a time, but nice. Would stay again and recommend it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Went off season and only spent a night while passing through. Hotel was well maintained and my room was clean.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good location for skiing"
We were there in October, so it was off season. No problems, but definitely not a 3.5 Star hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
We loved the stay very much. Very excited that it had a jacuzzi and the price was excellent! Such a beautiful view from our balcony too!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My husband and I booked a room for one night while visiting friends in the area. The hotel was nice and the staff was courteous. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of items to choose from.Genuine Expedia guest review
The outside of the hotel looked good . but inside it needed a lot of work. Maybe a 2 star hotel. On check-in the person was rude. Spoke to us only to hand us the keys. The rest of our stay and check-out the desk clerks were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the hotel was close to restaurants.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean and Decent"
The hotel itself was quite nice, staff somewhat friendly. The rooms are a bit dated, older mattresses, old (not HD) TV, etc but ok for a couple nights stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Beautiful room and mountain views"
Corner room was spacious, clean and had two furnished balconies overlooking the mountains. Breakfast room also had a nice view and included hot eggs, fruit and breads. Hotel was warm and cozy.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Fine for a wedding and two nights at"
The beds were good and the breakfast O.K. for short term stays. The building itself is dated, worn and dark. The place probably looks different when it's covered in snow but it needs help from the parking lot to the roof for spring and leaf peepers.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice & cozy"
Stayed for 1 night but enjoyed it very much, I would just say, add some bacon to the complimentary breakfast, lolGenuine Expedia guest review
Nice room, clean, great continental breakfast. Pool could use a more friendly entrance into the pool. The steps were not very helpful for me. Overall a great experience!Genuine Expedia guest review

"Nicer than we expected"
Because we stayed at an off time (after labor day) there were lots of rooms available and we ended up with a free upgrade to a beautiful room on the corner of the top floor, with two large doors opening to large balconies overlooking the Green Mountains in two directions, and a nice cross breeze of fresh mountain air. Awesome! Breakfast was basic but […] good. Minor gripes: Due to said mountain breeze, it got really chilly in the morning and we could not get the heat to work. Not a big deal. Also, WiFi didn't work in any area that we tried. Again, not a big deal for us as you should really try to get away from that stuff on a vacation anyhow :) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"my home away from home"
It was outstanding. It was for the Killington classic motorcycle rally. The staff went out of their way to exceed all our expectations, allowing us to park bikes in covered areas was a huge statement of gratitude on their part.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Rooms OK, rest not so good"
Hotel was OK. Portable air conditioner in a top floor room could not handle the temperature even though it was not very hot. "Free" breakfast was the worst hotel breakfast ever. Water pressure on third (top) floor was just a trickle in the shower. Each room had a DVD player and they had an extensive free DVD library.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Killington Motorcycle Classic"
Located in the beautiful mountains of Vermont, Inn of the Six Mountains was a very hospitable, and well built mountain hotel with large common rooms, and huge fireplaces. The staff was very friendly, and accommodating. We had arrived by motorcycle from a previous trip to Maine, and had a lovely tour through New Hampshire, and other less frequently traveled […] roads. Even though we arrived before check in time, our room was ready, and we were allowed to check in. We went to the bar that evening, and met the bartender, Tony. Even though it was late, and we were hungry, Tony, who was the chef as well cooked us up a fabulous meal. I had the salmon on rice, as well as some tasty Long Trail Ale, that Tony happily served us. Then the bar got crowded, as more people showed up for a night cap. We bid him goodnight, and walked upstairs to our room. When we left we even talked to some of the maintenance staff painting outside. They were just as pleasant as the rest of the staff, and were very serious about doing a number one job of sprucing the place up. There is a real nice bar, and grill right across the road called Moguls. They had an all you can eat pig roast for $10, and a fantastic band. We were there for about 8 hours, eating, drinking, and playing pool with some people we just met. Once again the staff couldn't have been any friendlier, and the owner was there too. He was donating the money to the local fire department, and was accepting other donations for an animal shelter. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Originally we signed up for one room for 4 of us, figured 2 full size beds would suffice. We did our booking through hotels.com and when we showed up, they gave us two adjoining rooms. So we had one room with 2 fulls and 1 room with a king, not a bad upgrade. This happened in August, highly doubt they would do this during peak season, but still very […] nice. Had two great balconies and a nice view. Cannot complain at all about this place. Complimentary breakfast has been better, but it was still free Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Find another place!"
The hotel looks impressive (size wise) from outside. The minute you enter, you are disappointed with the run down look of the lobby furniture, etc. The room itself seemed clean (bedding, bathroom, etc) The other furniture in the room was beat up looking and outdated.( We got this room through Expedia, and it was supposed to be a "Deluxe" suite! ) One […] of the larger lamps in the room didn't work, and neither did the hair dryer. The air conditioner was so loud that while it ran you couldn't hear the television. The large picture window in our room was plexiglass (not real glass!) I tried to open the small window, and thought it might fall off, so shut it quickly. In the evening I could smell the strong odor of cigarette smoke, and realized it was coming in through a vent in the room, and in the bathroom vents. We were in a non-smoking room, and the smell was very strong. I called the front desk, and the man said he "couldn't do anything about it, because sometimes people just smoke in their rooms even if they're not supposed to." He said he didn't have any access to a computer (????) so couldn't check to see who was in the rooms near us.????? He's the front desk clerk without access to a computer?!! The pool area is very run down, although the water in the pool and spa seemed very clean. Breakfast was just so-so. We went elsewhere. I imagine this hotel was quite grand at one time, but it is SO run down and drabby...DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Best night sleep ever. Bed wicked comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Ok, I guess for the price you would have a sense of what you're getting. But this place was pretty gross. It looks cute form the outside, looks a little outdated on the web, but we were totally turned off by dirty walls, a bathroom that looks like it hasn't had a deep clean (let alone update) in years. If we felt we had had the option we would have […] left. The breakfast was also disgusting. Thank goodness for post cereals being on hand, but it just tastes bad in a styrofoam bowl and plastic spoon. A motel 8 or reliable brand would have at least been clean and outdated. The only plus was a DVD player in the room- and free DVD check out at the lobby so we could watch that to forget where we were. I could only imagine it worse in winter- after a long day skiing this is NOT the place you want to retire to for a cozy night rest. It's too bad because the chalet style on the outside was far more promising than anything on the inside. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Handy location very close to the ski area."
Looked for a reasonably priced hotel on the Killington Road close to the ski area. Stayed there last year around the same time. Big rooms.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Inn of the Six Mountains"
Very pleasing stay. Room was exceptional w/ two balconies. Staff was very helpful when needed. Hotel needs a exterior facelift but a true value for the price!!!!Genuine Expedia guest review
So for the most part our stay was OK. We where there Sunday thru Tuesday the beds where uncomfortable. There was a hot tub that really was for two and with that large a lodge they needed a much bigger one, It took us 3. hours to use it beacuse other people where in it! I would stay again but only at the expedia price!Genuine Expedia guest review

Great hotel. Could definitely use an update on the interior. Everything was clean, and breakfast was included. People were friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lots of stuff but dated"
Nice place, location and price. A lot of stuff needs to be fixed. Toilet leaked, wi fi only in certain areas. A shame because really a nice facility. I would probably stay there again. Lots of stuff to do.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Old, tired hotel"
Booked off Expedia on their hidden discount rates based upon the 3.5 star rating. This hotel definitely is not a 3.5 star hotel. Maybe 20 years ago. Old and worn and out of the way.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A little worn"
The room was sufficient for what i needed it for (golfing and hiking on the area with a few budies). However, it was in serious need of a renovation as was the lobby and parking lot. The bed sheets and comforter were at least 20 years old and again, in need of replacement.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice place. Geared more for winter than summer."
The hotel was very nice, and the pools were great. There was a definite sense that the hotel was not on full staffing, as it surely is during the winter.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice, But A Little Tired"
I suspect this was a really nice property about ten years ago but it is getting pretty threadbare now. The carpets are past needing replacement, the whole place needs paint, the parking lot needs repaving, the bathroom fixtures are old and in poor repair, some of the functions on the TV were not working, etc. On the plus side, our room was clean, the […] location is convenient and the staff seemed friendly and competent. "More for winter"
This is a ski resort with a huge fireplace in the lobby but ours was a summer trip. The last few days of July were not super warm and the hotel's air conditioning lowered the inside temperature to the point that I wished they would light the fireplace. Fortunately the hot tub functioned very well. I expected to take advantage of their DVD loans but […] hiking tired us out too much. In spite of the relative proximity to hiking trails, the entire area felt deserted. There are no fast food chains, large grocery stores, or shopping malls in the area. Several of the local businesses are closed in the summer, increasing the sense of isolation. The hotel itself provided a light breakfast of scrambled eggs, home fries, bread, bagels, English muffins, cereals, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate mix, but that was the only food available on site Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Average, but nice service"
Dated - the picture they post on their link is a tad nicer than the actual place. It could use some updating - not just for style but for function and looks. The curtains in our room were completely tattered. We had a nice sky light, but the shad was broken and clearly not dusted as when we tried to open it tons of dust and little bugs fell out. The […] bed was very comfortable. The service was wonderful. Nice people. DVD lending library. Inside hot tub HOT!! Outside hottub COLD - overall not bad, I would stay there again, but they'd do well by improving things. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location, reasonable rates"
I didn't expect a complimentary upgrade to a corner suite - with two balconies - but that's what was waiting for me. Check in was a breeze, and the room was clean, comfortable and big. Really big. Complimentary movie nights are a nice feature, you don't see that in chain hotels. This is much nicer than a strip-mall style motel (and Killington has them, […] a few miles down the hill) and close to multiple restaurants and pubs. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. No WiFi for the 3 days I was there but that's what hot spots are for (thank you iPhone 5). Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. And if you're lucky enough to be attending the Jeep Jamboree, this place is maybe a half mile from the JJ meeting spot Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Noisy a/c; non functioning wi-fi"
The free standing a/c unit was noisy, and difficult to regulate. The 'wi-fi' did not function even in the common areas (as had been advertised). The eggs were cold and tasteless. Other than that a pleasant location and well kept. But I think I am entitled to a partial refund because of the aforementioned inconveniences.Genuine Expedia guest review
Inn at Six Mountains is a great place to stay. Stayed there approx. six years ago also. Noticed the Inn is getting a little "run down" but we still enjoy the views, pools and area. The hotel workers are extremely friendly and came right away when we called for two "minor fixes" in our room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Rest and Relaxation"
The hotel staff are all amazing and all go out of their way to make guests visit comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. The facility was ok, but could use some TLC.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The standout positives to this stay would be: 1. Excellent value. (cheap price), 2. very pretty area. peacefu, quiet, beautiful. 3. Would be a great hotel in the winter for skiing. Negatives: 1. free breakfast was horrible. selection was terrible. not well layed out, very unorganized. 2. bath tub had mold in it. 3. Air conditioning didn't work. room […] was very hot and muggy for sleeping. 4. Parking lot needs a lot of work. Would I stay here again? Yes, but I wouldn't want to pay their regular prices. Back in the Day this was probably a great Inn. It's very outdated and needs TLC. It was clean. No Ambience.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Inn needs major updating"
The Inn needs more staff and could use updates everywhere (fresh paint, new rugs, etc). The breakfast was fair, yet was adequate. It is 2013! Time to move on from the 60s & 70s! Location too hoopy?Genuine Expedia guest review
