The property needs much upgrade. It's clean but appearance is run down. Especially compared to surrounding competition. Room decor is dated and carpet needs replacing. The morning breakfast was basic but quality was good. Airport and cruise port shuttles are great amenities.

A very old hotel which needs updating. Having to drag one's baggage all the way by the poolside to reach the main buildings, between bathers and people relaxing on lounges is not very welcoming at all.

We were not aware that we needed to call the hotel to get the shuttle from the airport, but we got one quite quickly. There are fast food places near the hotel, but nicer restaurants and considerably longer distances, if you are on foot. The complimentary breakfast was fine; the hotel personnel were helpful and friendly. I DO NOT recommend buying a shuttle from the airport to the cruise ship on your return. The shuttle pass was being sold in the lobby of the hotel, and we assumed it would be as prompt as the shuttle that took us to the ship. We bought two passes, and learned that a taxi would have been cheaper, and waited in the middle of the parking lot for over 1 and half hours for a shuttle. It was ridiculous. Fortunately, our flight was later so we didn't miss it, but it could easily have happened.

This was not an "Inn" or a "Suite".....this is a motel. Check-in time is stated to be 3pm, I arrived approximately 6pm and rooms were not available (large crowd of people waiting). When I finally got a room it was 2 beds instead of 1 king. Here on hotels.com it states there is a microwave, refrigerator etc., none of that was present in our room. Also, no desk as stated. Instead a small table with 2 chairs, one of which has a large stain in the fabric.

Checking in was awful. The lobby was literally full of people waiting to get their keys to their rooms. People were getting mad and nobody was happy. I think it was 4:30 before we got in our room. I have no idea why we couldn't get keys when we checked in but instead, they had ALL of us waiting. Also, we waited over an hour for the shuttle to pick us up.

What we had hoped would be a nice, relaxing extension of our cruise vacation turned out to be anything but! We booked for 4 nights post-cruise. Upon checking into our room we immediately found BUGS!! There were ants & some beetle type pests. Knowing that all of the area hotels were completely full we felt stuck. I thought maybe we could work with the hotel staff so I called the front desk & they said they would have maintenance treat the room that evening. In the meantime, we went out to dinner & picked up a can of bug spray just in case. We treated it ourselves also. On day two I only saw a few ants (although we were out most of day) so I figured I could live with that. Also on day two, no maid serviced our room. On day 3 I woke up to seeing at least 3 COCKROACHES!! That was the final straw! I marched into the lobby and spoke with the Manager. he assured me that this was an isolated case & that he would move us to a "suite" so he could properly service the other room. He also stated that he would offer some sort of credit to us & would call us to discuss it. The "suite" was ok. Nothing fancy but didn't see bugs. Also, this is a very old & worn hotel. Rooms smell musty, carpeting tattered & dirty, rooms dark & dingy. Only good thing was breakfast & a few of the staff members. Other than that, would NOT recommend & will NOT stay again. Oh & I never heard back about a credit. I'm pretty sure I won't either.

Was just a quick in and out while travelling. Shuttle picked us up at FLL at 11pm then returned us to FLL the following morning at 7am so we don't have much information to rate it. Seemed clean, didn't see any bugs, plumbing worked fine, location was great if you're without a car. Plenty restaurants, fast food and shopping nearby. Did not receive our wake up call but we always bring a justincase alarm. Reasonable price hotel for a shuttle air/cruise port on this area.

Sludge come out of the sink, the iron was broken, the ironing board would not stand, stains in the carpet and chairs, bathroom needs repair. All of this for only $200 a night. The door frame was bent and difficult to open the door. You have to listen to everyone around you leave their rooms...very noisy.

Slow booking in because rooms not ready but it was a Sunday and they were inundated with guests trying to book in. Hotel is really old but we were comfortable. Not much in area if you have trouble walking (which we do) Shuttle to cruise terminal was great

We were made to wait over 1 1/2 hrs for our room. In the meantime, so were lots of others. They knew the hotel was sold out, but they made no provisions for getting the rooms cleaned in a timely manner. The lobby was also filthy: there was dust around all the furniture as if they had not cleaned in a long time. The lobby floor looked as if it had not been cleaned in a long time. The rooms were OK, but the pillows were not the kind you could sleep on. They were way too plump, and so high you couldn't get comfortable on them. The furniture was too big, and I almost could not get my walker in the room. There is no restaurant on the premises, which makes it very inconvenient for their customers. There is no way I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is great for a pre or post cruise. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel and the shuttle to the cruise are free. The staff is especially nice. Henry the funny bell cap, Mo that books the pick ups from the cruise and Isabella at the front desk, were all very accommodating. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the free breakfast good. After the cruise we originally had late flights back home, so what would we do for several hours in Florida? The solution was what the hotel had to offer. For 15.00 per person they shuttle you back to the hotel where they watch your luggage and you can spend the day at the pool and poolside bar. Plus there were plenty of stores within walking distance.

We arrived to hairs in the tub and sink of our room..the next day our new towels had hairs on them and there were also more hairs in the tub and sink. We were supposed to be given a free newspaper with our stay, which they denied as well.

Stayed for 2 nights. The room was very small, two people could not pass each other when walking. The couch in the room had multiple stains. Not fit to sit upon. Countertops were stained and peeling. Refrigerator was not at adequate temperature. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was very tiny with barely enough room to close the door when you walked into it. The water pressure was good. The breakfast that was included was decent. The price of the room was not worth what you received. The shuttle from the airport was handy. The front desk staff were helpful. Tried to cancel the second night stay but was unable to do so.

We picked this hotel because of the transfer from the airport and to the cruise ship.The bonus was the offer by the hotel (for a small fee) to pick us up from the ship and take us to the airport. Also nice restuarants within walking distance from hotel. Front desk staff very helpful.

Room was cleaner than I expect after reading reviews. Bathroom was very clean, bed was comfortable and the staff was amazing. The free breakfast was great... good variety, stocked well, fast and efficient. The only complaint I would have would be that there is not enough parking for the number of rooms. I did not get back to the hotel until after 8pm everyday since I was there for work and every day I had to park on the other side of the hotel next door because there was no parking spots available. But all in all, a great experience!

We arrived and was placed in a room way in the backpl of the motel where no one else was. The man who took our bags was very pushy, the room was not clean, food in the morning was very poor with hardly any fresh fruit. All in all it was the poorest I have stayed in for many years.

Stayed there before & after a 7 day cruise. In the first room the closet door was flopping around, the carpet was worn out. Bed & linens were clean and welcoming . Generaly a worn out appearance to the fixtures. The return was a different room . The tub was spotless , the drain was mostly plugged.. Both rooms had that old closed-up smell. (Being form the desert the humidity was noticable ,even with the A/C on ) The are really swamped , with cruisers ,so much so people are packed around the pool and lobby. One morning we get a chance to try the breakfast Eggs, toast, cerals, fruits ,Nice , but not enough to make the rooms worth the price. Must give credit to the bellman, worked his but off!!!

Room was dark and dinghy, furniture was 1950ish, safe at the bottom of the closet didn't work because the battery was dead. Rate was cheap for Hollywood only because the hotel was getting a new tile roof and the pool and adjoining areas were unusable because of the dust and noise
