card keys were hard to activate the room doors - had to push in and out three or four times for the activation - had to return the card key twice to the front desk due to not opening the door. - nice having the bathroom sink outside of the bathroom - continental breakfast nice options, but waffle maker needed extra spray for not sticking.

This hotel was disgusting, the love seat was ripped and heavely soiled. I would not even put my feet on the floor. This hotel is a disgrace to your name. There was people living in the hotel weekly. This place has been declining in quality for the past 5-7 years that I've stayed there, but my most recent stay WILL BE MY LAST. Here's some examples of why: 1) Front desk staff put me in a room that was already occupied and didn't realize her mistake until we BOTH showed up at the front desk to complain. 2) Dirtly hotel linens (sheets and blankets) […] piled in front of the room next to me for greater than 24 hours. Inexcusable. 3) Trash overflowing from several interior receptacles all weekend. Just gross. 4) The fast-food restaurant next door is apparently the preferred hangout for all the teenagers your mother warned you about. I was worried for my car's security. 5) Room keys were temperamental and often required feats of gymnastics to get the door open. Ridiculous. 6) The remote for the TV was inoperable. The desk clerk - who left the front desk unattended to assist me told me that it was not batteries (but gave me some anyway) but a problem with the cable provider. Her solution involved taping a wire to the front of the TV. The wire fell off repeatedly, making channel surfing less than entertaining. 7) The hair dryers and irons have been removed from the rooms as they break and not replaced. 8) I can't THINK of the last place where I had to pay for wireless, but $5 a day? Why bother? 9) The overall maintenance of the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. I know - it's a budget hotel and offers a low rate. But - maintaining general appearances - like trimming the landscaping every few years, fixing tears and missing wallpaper, fixing broken screens and windows, goes a long way to improving the general pleasantness of the property. Not just painting rooms an obnoxious color - that qualifies as 'lipstick on a pig' in my book. Couch in room had giant tear in arm with stuffing coming out. Had to change rooms because toilet was broken and waited for maintenance that didn't come. The hotel was not kept up well, carpets, bedding needing a thorough cleaning. The staff did not control a very large reunion group that took over the hotel, with loud noise, screaming, running down halls, swearing, etc. This happened all 3 nights of our stay. desk clerk seemed powerless to control it. had a young child that could not fall asleep with […] the loud noise and then we were all awakened around 2;00 am with people running, swearing, yelling outside our door. A disaster. Management needed to get these people out and show courtesy to the rest of guests wishing for a peaceful night. Everything you could expect from a hotel in this price range. Was by far the best deal in the area. I would have liked a little better accomodations for a little more money. My husband and I travel 200 days of the year for business. This hotel is so overpriced for what it is! The only thing I can compare it to is a seedy motel you would NEVER stay in. If it had not been after midnight when we arrived, I would have never stayed! It wasn't clean - the beds were extremely hard. Do yourself a favor - skip this hotel!
