The spacious rooms are marvelous, the location of the hotel is well situated in the core of Montreal. You can walk to various events. The garage parking is less to be desired and the unattended at night time parking is also a pain. The heat regulation in some rooms are also indesirable.

Two lamps weren't working, including a desk lamp -- awkward when I wanted to do a bit of work there. On the other hand the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, they really provided great service.

Tour de Ville - This revolving restaurant provides spectacular views of downtown Montreal and is open for dinner only on Fridays and Saturdays, and for brunch on Sundays. Bistro Chez Antoine - Open from early morning until late night, this large bistro separates its smoking and nonsmoking areas with a long wood-and-brass bar. Chez Antoine has a huge breakfast buffet, and both buffet and table d'hote offerings are available at lunch and dinner. Standard choices include fish, steaks, salads, pizzas, and pasta.
Delta Centre Ville's indoor lap pool on the fourth floor overlooks the lobby, and has an outside terrace with tables and chairs. A 24-hour fitness center, adjacent to the pool, includes lockers, showers, and saunas. A children's play area is also on the floor.

"Delta Centre Ville - Over rated"
We stayed in three different hotels on the trip, and this was the most expensive, but worst experience... We had to pay for internet connection in our room, the tv was small, the coffee was horrible, the beds we small and uncomfortable, the coffee machine took a genius to figure out how to turn on. The location sucked because the roads are impossible […] to figure out. We had to pay another $25 for parking. We had people just walking into our room, the remote did not work for the tv and we had to get it replaced.. "Perfect hotel"
This is one of the hotel near the Train Station of Montreal. Since I was from Montreal and saw it often I was always under the impression that it was expensive. Well it's not ! It's very reasonable for the price. Staff was nice and informative.

Getting out the parking lot was a pain,having to go down to the bottom level then go back to the level we were already at,, and getting out of the car to access all the machines was our only compaint.great hotel otherwise

Our parking garage was initially intended only for valet parking and so it was not designed with self parking in mind. We have had the self parking option for a long time but unfortunately the structure and layout can not be modified. Our exit leads from the lower level and then through the neighbouring building. A quick walk across the street and it lead to the under-ground shopping mall! Great shopping, restaurants and exercise! In the other direction brings you to the Metro (subway) great transit system. Parking was a little steep but, during a snow storm can't beat having a warm and dry car. The Concierge was extremely friendly and informative. Over all pretty good hotel. My room was near the elevators so I would hear the vibration or mechanical sounds in my room, anoying when it was in the middle of the night. $23 per day to park is a rip off. I am sorry if you were disturbed by the elevators and assure you that we rarely obtain this type of complaint. I will have the elevators verified to see that they are operating quietly. Do not hesitate to contact the manager on duty so that we may have the option of moving you to a quieter room if needed. Our parking garage charges are very similar, or less expensive, than other downtown hotels and parking lots. We also offer the opportunity for guests to go in & out during the day without any extra charge, whereas in most lots they charge at each exit. The staff were fast and efficient and the room was in excellent condition. Great desk/ tv and lighting. The air vents were a little noisy and a little short on towels for the first day. The lobby was great and free internet was good as the internet to the room was not available. Used the pub and good service. This hotel doesn't state it is a 1000% smoke free plus no balconies plus no patio lounge after 9 pm poor visit when you have to descend 15 floors anytime I want a cigarette

Nice hotel from the outside but the room interior is showing a little bit of age. Overall appearance and quality is a bit outdated but still a decent nice looking hotel. Great location and paid a good price so was satisfied with my stay. Food at the restaurant wasn't good.

we were not surprised but still disappointed to find that many of the negative reviews we had read online about this delta were indeed true. the negative issues pertain to the room. the fan was so noisy we had to turn it off in order to sleep, the blow dryer did not work and when we called for a new one it took 24 hours to be sent to us, there were […] 4 of us in room and they never left more than 2 bath towels, we called for more 3 days in a row and only got more on the 3rd try, our used glasses and mugs were not replaced daily so we went to the restaurant for take out coffees instead of being able to make coffee in the room for free ! finally, the drab beige and brown decor is so outdated, it is depressing !! I apologise for the apparent lack of service regarding towels, hair dryer and coffee mugs. Housekeeping will be advised to be more attentive to the number of guests and to advise our maintenence department should they notice anything needing repair such as the air conditioning unit. We will be undergoing a major redesign in the coming months and into 2012. I am sure you find our new rooms to be a drastic improvement in look and feel. New carpeting, beds, furniture and a complete remodeling of the bathrooms as well. Perhaps on an upcoming visit you will see the change first hand. Until then, I am sorry for the issues and thank you for your comments.

It was a beautiful hotel, nice room, but was deceived by the fact that there were no balconies and we had to go down out the lobby to go outside. The pool closes at 9:30pm, which should be open until midnight for adults to relax in the pool without children splashing everywhere. Very good hotel - covers all the basics. Location perfect for access to old town. Nothing great in the immediate vicinity but a short walk in either direction gets you to where the action is.

The service was very good and friendly. The room was small with very little room for walking around. The doors and furniture looked roughed up and abused for a hotel of this quality. The parking was a disappointment because as paying guests of the hotel we then had to pay for parking on top of the room rate and it was for every day we stayed. We thought […] that they would validate our parking ticket once we got to the lobby to sign in but they don't validate and they keep charging you more with each day. We were not told that this extra charge would be part of the hotel stay's fees. Updates on the room's cleanliness and the decor, as well as the parking included in the room rate would have made our stay more pleasant. This hotel is in a great location for site seeing. Just a short distance to everything. The hotel staff were very nice. We found the restuarant a little pricey. Comfy bed. No fridge in room, hard to get wi-fi reception on 25th floor. No towel bars in bathroom. Main floor restaurant very pricey++ for average quality food. Underground tunnels to shops, subway, other centres and facilities (Palais des Congres). Otherwise great location, walked everywhere.

I've stayed in Delta hotels before, including this one and I can honestly say it is now in need of some serious help. The was a DIRTY Qtip on the floor next to the bed and a USED Band Aid stuck to the bedspread. The TV Cabinet was broken (a door was hanging on one hinge), the shower was old and the ventilation was loud. All in all, this is no longer […] a Delta level hotel. While the location of this hotel was great, right downtown, easy access to metro, close to train station, the condition of the room was what would prevent me from staying here again. First of all it was not very clean at all. The surfaces were for some reason very sticky! They didn't seem to have been cleaned for some time. Second the room was very […] noisy. The ventilation fan for the air supply systems was so load it kept me awake at night, even if I tried to use the wall adjustment to lower the speed. Third it was very cold in the room, even when I had tried to turn the heat up earlier in the day. Again, it was so cold it kept me awake. And fourth, there was almost no bedding on the beds. So with the room being so cold, it made it very uncomfortable to sleep. Overall, I like the location but would never want to stay there again. My wife and kids would certainly agree. Our two 26th floor rooms, adjoining via a vestibule outside the suite doors, were well maintained. Beds were comfortable and clean. I parked our car in the basement for the duration of our stay. I travel extensively and stay in many hotels. We enjoyed our stay at Delta, and we will probably stay there again the next time we're in Mtl. Room service was also great, the pizza is excellent. Breakfast buffet, though, left a lot to be desired for the price; would have been a much better idea in hindsight to have ventured into one of the great restaurants in Old Mtl for brunch instead!
Although on a whole the hotel is nice, I was displeased that the two rooms I had booked as non smoking only applied to one room. The clerk tried to find another non smoking room however it was a busy weekend and all rooms at the hotel were booked solid. I just found it inconvenient for my non smoking friends cause they drove all that way only to end […] up getting a room on a floor that reeked of cigarette smoke. Read more
