The hotel is in a great location. Walkable to many parts of DT Austin - E6th, W6th. S. Congress and Rainey St are walkable, but they are decent hikes so we took cabs which are readibly available and less than $10 to each. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The Omni is a great hotel for families. We have stayed at other Omni's and my children just love the "Kid's Welcome Packs" and the attention they receive from the staff, this Omni was no exception. We had a wonderful time and the location was exceptional for walking to a variety of locations, especially "The Museum of the Weird," a must see!

Omni had more amenities being I signed up for their free preferred customer program. Free WiFi, complimentary cocktails, water bottles, hors devours, free breakfast, free morning beverage delivery, and more. The other hotel was not only […] was over $50 more per night, they'd nickel and dime you. Not Omni and the staff was so accommodating and helpful. The only room apparently left when I booked was handicap assessable. If your not in need of this service the bathroom is very inconvient. No place to put toliteries in the shower or counter top.

They had an elevator down, so long lines for elevator usage. Lots of convention type people. Otherwise enjoyed spacious room and Starbucks in lobby. Excellent, quality hotel.

My wife and I went to Austin for the first time to celebrate our 10 Year Anniversary and our hotel choice couldn't have been better! Robert and Mark and the rest of the Guest Services/Concierge staff were awesome recommending resteraunts and shopping and also some nice extra perks they gave us for our anniversary, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries […] in the room upon arrival! Room was very clean and very upscale. The room was a little small, but we didn't mind, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge! Great shower! Clean, modern hotel in central Austin. Very friendly and helpful staff. Friday and Saturday night can be a little loud as it's close to the entertainment district. This could be good or bad, depending on the purpose of your trip.

Excellent, typically I eat at my Hotel, this weekends stay this didn't happen, however the hotel was excellent. Price was resonable, will certainly stay at another Omni hotel and have already stayed at many Omni hotels. Good Job.

The hotel was clean and well maintained, and staff very friendly. However, I have stayed in hotels for half the cost that was just as beautiful, maintained, and had friendly staff. There was no microwave, no couch in the room, and the fridge was filled with goodies over priced...therefore we could not even use the fridge! I just feel like it was overpriced […] for what you get! Other amazing, much less expensive hotels offer the same great experience and MUCH more for the money...they just don't include the OMNI name..something I am beginning to think is all for the show of saying "I stayed at the OMNI." So what? Give me a reason to think it truly is amazing....more amazing than another hotel two streets down I have stayed in before. Read more

Proximity to downtown and capitol is good. Hotel is funny, half business building, half hotel, but still, it was an overall good stay with courteous staff and what not. Would consider staying there again...could've been a 5 star hotel, but just something missing...anyways, thanks for reading!

Very nicely appointed room in the heart of downtown Austin. Clean and spacious, comfortable bed. But it seems the hotel must have a reputation as a party hotel for some of the locals, because there was a lot of noise on Friday and Saturday nights in the hallways - not just drunken revelry of people coming and going from their rooms, but seemingly an […] under-21 crowd that parties in the hotel rooms. Not cool. Admittedly, they piped down and apologized when confronted by us in the hallway, but it was still annoying. There's also some noise coming in from the local bars/clubs in the neighborhood. Again, overall a nice hotel and the staff tries their best to deal with the noise issue (providing a sleep kit and encouraging guests to make noise complaints if need be), but if you've got a low tolerance for noise, this may not be the hotel for you. This hotel is an upscale nice property. The Lobby is beautiful. The rooms are nice but maybe a bit small. The location was perfect for a show at the Paramount Theater on Congress. Would definetly stay here again.
