We only were able to stay one night but the hotel was amazing. The rooms were clean and accommodating. Also the location was perfect. It is walking distance from sixth street which was exactly what we were looking for.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and tried hard to make us feel welcome. The room itself, on the 12th floor, had a nice view of the lobby due to the glass walls, the beds were very comfortable and the furniture was nice. The bathroom had been updated with modern, nickle-plated fixtures, it was a nice size and housekeeping had plenty […] of fluffy towels there. The glass fronted elevators were fun to ride in. The only downsize was there was no coffee maker in the room, however Starbucks could be purchased downstairs in the morning and evening and there was a Starbucks shop a short distance from the Omni. The surrounding area was ok, but there were tons of bars and restaurants two blocks away, so a single woman might want to use caution when walking very far from the hotel. Read more

Beds were small and way to firm, it's confusing to get to, rude customer service (both in person and on the phone), overpriced rooms, and they gouge for parking! Watch out for this high-jacking hotel!!!

The hotel was very nice and people inside were pleasant. I arrived late in the evening and the valet wasn't as helpful as they (more than one standing around) should have been and left me to carry my luggage inside. Automatic doors would be helpful because my hands were full.

Check-in was supposed to be at 3 PM. We arrived at 3:15pm and our room was not ready. We waited at the lobby bar for an hour before I asked for an explanation as to why our room wasn't ready and then we finally got it. The next morning my sister found a cockroach in the shower. I have stayed at an Omni in NYC and expected a superb experience - this Omni disappoints. First, there were crumbs on the floor of the room when we arrived. Then, the tub was clogged and would take a long time to drain from a shower. The temperature regulation was broken and responded minimally. The worst part were the very noisy guests next door who […] were partying from 1-5 AM. The front desk took over 90 minutes to have someone from security to settle them down. This was especially disappointing considering how much the front desk stressed their "guaranteed sleep experience policy." The hotel looks nice on the surface, but is missing the details needed for a hotel of their star level. Small positives - the lobby bar and restaurant were good and the manager refunded some of the room charges as an apology for the poor stay. Overall, with such a selection of better hotels in Austin, this is not one to stay at. Read more

Everything was amazing! Great service, location, and amenities. The location was perfect for walking around downtown. We didn't really have to take our car out at all. The only problem was one night the room was hot in the middle of the night but it was fixed the next night. I'm so glad we chose this hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

Parking is a bugger. But, once there, its great. No hot tub. To get to the pool you need to walk up 3 landings. once on the top floor. It's on the roof. Nice view of the city from there. Outlets are on the side of the desk and nightstand. Free Wifi.

We have stayed here several times. The hotel itself is nice enough. It is clean and is as quiet as you will find close to 6th st. Finding the valet parking is not easy. (Go to 8th street). The service in the restaurant is subpar.

Extremely nice hotel that is very well located and very nice. Rooms are awesome and very clean. Great beds and linens. Underground parking is very convenient. You can walk to everything downtown, great restaurants, bars, live bands! Would definitely stay again.

It is right next to 6th street which can be good and bad. We needed to get some sleep Thursday night because we had a meeting Friday morning. You could hear the music from 6th until 2 am so if you are a soft sleeper and need sleep then don't go here.

Omni properties are always nice and the staff is great. HOWEVER, I was staying here for 5 nights for business, and the WiFi was so weak it was simply inoperable. The hotel made me call their support and go through trouble shooting (knowing they had an issue); and in the end the support said, sorry, we can't help you. The hotel made the excuse that it […] was full and they had a conference, so the volume was to blame. That, in my books, is an unacceptable explanation - sustain an infrastructure to support you business, bottom line. After the fist night of no WiFi acces, I thought surely they'd address the problem - nope, same issue second night. The last three nights were better - they said the had to reset their server... Regardless - I would expect better. Will never stay at this Omni again - too many other reliable hotels in downtown Austin. Read more

Very high end customer service. Staff was overly friendly and helpful. Very conveniently located, we walked everywhere downtown, museums, the capitol, and even walked to the Performing Art Center one evening. It's worth the extra money to stay there. Also try Bob's Steak and Chop House downtown - by far the best steaks we have ever had.

We got a killer rate on this hotel. The location is convenient to everywhere you need to go in Downtown Austin. The Club level was amazing, the room was pretty standard to any 4 star hotel, but the staff, from the doormen, the bellmen, Front Desk and all areas of the hotel were 5 star. Make sure to sign up for the free rewards program for free internet, free beverages delivered to your door. We usually stay here when we attend UT football games with clients and the hotel is walking distance to the stadium and a lot of attractions and resteraunts.
