If you take SAS Express Bus it will take right in front of the hotel and you can take the same bus on your way to the airport. Very helpful and courteous staff. We checked in early. Room was ready, it was very comfortable and large by european standards. Great breakfast menu, lots of choices but a little pricey. Great location - 15 to 20 minutes walking distance to most sights downtown and pier. Convenient air port bus pick up and drop off outside the hotel. .

This hotel was great. I was traveling over Easter and the city and hotel was very quiet so they ended up upgrading me to a business room with an amazing view! Terrific location, friendly service. The breakfast was very good - one of the best I've had at a hotel in northern Europe. Easy access to airport shuttle, but difficult to get to ferry (required taxi or a lot of walking).

The plus side to this hotel is the location. It's right in the city centre - close to the palace, Karl Johans, and public transportation. It also has a Narvesen located inside the hotel, which is very convenient for buying tram tickets, water, etc. The breakfast is also good. Past that, the service is very so-so. The concierge is kind of a joke... not really helpful at all and only available during certain times. The rooms aren't that great. That said, I might stay here again if I went to Oslo (which is a great city) because of the location, but I might also check out the Rica Holberg which is right next to it and I hear might be better. Cruise ship sized rooms, small, bathrooms clean but little moldy around tub, other hotels closer to center of town equally priced and larger. Breakfast included, but was just ok. Better rooms around for price if they are available. Little outdated. Friendly staff, very helpful!

Initially I thought the bathtub was dirty but it turns out the "dirt" was a series of chips in the bath tub. The bed was so bad that you felt like you were inverted when you were laying on it. The staff all spoke English - the concierge was kind and helpful when we asked a question and clearly didn't get commission from booking people on tours or something. He didn't try to sell us on things, just let us know what was available. The Radisson Blue hotel is nicely situated with easy transportation to the center of town. Bus Service from the airport brings you right to the hotel. The service was good and personnel were very helpful. The breakfast menu was outstanding. I definitely would use the hotel again on a revisit.

If you heard about a bus that takes you to the hotel be ready. It's not a Radisson Hotel bus. $20USD [ half price for seniors ] and 1 hour you and all your luggage will get off at the last stop which is directly in front of the Radisson Blu. Taxis are very expensive. From the airport it will be over $100 USD. The airport bus & all taxis take credit […] cards. No need to get kroners. Hotel lobby very nice as were the staff. Looking around you will notice extremely worn furniture in the lobby. Check-in not too bad. Rooms were very clean but very dated. I had a mid price range room which did not seem to much different than the business class room that a relative had. The only difference a slightly larger seating area and in room movies are included. Everyone should be able to satisfy themselves with the breakfast buffett each morning. If you eat just before it ends you can go straight through to dinner. An adequate fitness center. 2 treadmills, 1 eliptical, 2 bikes, 1 lat pull down, 1 leg press, 1 chest press and some dumbells. Everything clean, plenty of towels and great water fountain that offered regular water or carbonated water. Water out of the tap in Norway was cold and tasted great. I would go there again. Hotel is centrally located. A 24hr 7-11 only a few steps from the hotel to stock your in rom refridgerator and avoid the mini bar. If you enjoy a little drink now and then when you land buy some alcohol in the duty free on the way out. Yes you can. Plenty to chose from. Read more

The hotel is located next to the Palace and at a walking distance to the main attrations in Oslo. I would definately recommend to stay there.
