Good location, friendly staff, and helpful valet (including courtesy shuttle around town). Costs for downtown stays are really high in Nashville. EVen though this was the cheapest I could find it is still pretty salty, specially when you add $30/day parking and $30/day or more in taxes. '

We had a nice stay at the doubletree. The bed was very comfortable and sheets and blankets were high quality. The room was a bit musky from what seemed to be bad ventilation from steam in the bathroom, but it was easy enough to get used to. The staff were all great and very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was not too good, but we got there later on so it was probably better earlier in the morning when the food was more fresh. The valet was a bit overpriced. There was no conditioner given only shampoo and lotion. I slept great there and felt like it was very clean. Overall nothing abundantly special but we had a nice stay and would stay there again. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

We went to a concert downtown. Everyone at the front desk at check-in & check-out were very pleasant - loved the warm chocolate chip cookies! The only reason for a score of 3 is that everything really needs an update.

The location was good. Centrally located downtown. Was easy to walk to Broadway and easy to get a cab or Uber. The room was just ok. It was small and you can tell everything was very old and has not been updated in a while. Customer service was very good though. Hotel employees were very friendly at the front desk and over the phone.

Certainly not a $350/night hotel. Rooms were old, bathroom was small and old. Holes in the wall. No bottle of water, no refrigerator, no microwave. Just not what you'd expect for $350/night. It would be overpriced at $150/night. Best thing about it was its location to downtown but next time I'll go back out to the west end and get a better deal for half the price and taxi in and out of town.

The Hotel water was turned off from midnight til five am. This was terribly inconvenient as it necessitated that we cut short our evening on the towns to assure we returned to our room early enough to use facilities and clean up prior to retiring for the night. The only accommodation offered by the hotel wa to provide guest who asked, a bottle of water! I think a bit more could have been done.

Overall it was a good stay. Nice staff, quiet and comfortable room, good location, and a free downtown shuttle. It is only 4-5 blocks to Broadway. Starbucks in the lobby. Although it was not needed, we received a handicap room. It would have been nice to be asked, as I generally prefer a regular room due to lack of counter space in the bathroom.

We were in town for the CMA's so the hotel was in the perfect location to downtown. Staff was helpful and friendly. Only down fall was the shower drained really slow, but besides that it was perfect. Would recommend it to others.

Had a great weekend stay for a birthday celebration. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating not that we needed much. 4 of us in a room. Might mention they put us in a handicap accessible so it was roomy. Fridge and microwave. Not a great view but didn't really bother any of us. Perfect location to downtown activities. Shuttle will take you down for free. Short wait. Taxis are easy and cheap. The valet staff were friendly and gave us tips for going out and eating. We make friends wherever we go so we enjoyed the friendly manners of everyone. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment but it seemed pricey as they usually are.

Don't book a king size bed in this hotel. The king rooms are triangular and that means the room is smaller. The third room we were given was better than the first two, but beware.

Very expensive for an average room with the smallest bathroom I'd ever seen. No refrigerator, mini bar, microwave. They offer free water, but you have to ask for it at the front desk. When I asked, they told me to go in the gift shop. I said it's free, so they checked in the back office and then said they were out of water. Bring your own blow dryer. My hair looked awful because it only blew out cool air. I would not stay again.

Was disappointed in the not asking if we wanted a famous cookie at the front desk. Also they do not have any min icebox. And the room bed was not clean and the bathroom paint was peeling. When called for a new room none where free. Very disappointed.

This was my 3rd stay at the DoubleTree within the last 2 years. I thought that the room was smaller than usual but it was an end unit so that might be the reason. The location is ecxellent because everything was within walking distance. Only a couple of blocks away from Broadway which was ideal. I know that my next visit to Nashville will include the DoubleTree.

Hotel was ready with warm cookies and a team supportive atmosphere when we came in for the NFL game. It was fairly clean, very small bathroom and unfortunately not much immediately around the hotel. Parking was only available via valet. Broadway were all the action was was not a far walk away, but your return back was a steep uphill.

Very nice hotel. Beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were clean. It's about a 1/2 mile walk to the main music strip. Hotel was way over priced for one night, but so was everything else in the area. The only thing is the parking...it's valet only in the lot at the hotel 29 bucks with tax. We were told there was a lot across the street that was 18 a night. But upon walking to the main drag, we found a lot that was 7 bucks on weekends for 24 hrs. Same street about .2 miles from hotel. Would recommend doing that if you are staying a weekend.

The hotel sprinklers went if half way into the trip. The elevators were not working by themselves, had to have an operator and had to wait. The carpet was wet with loud fans running constantly. The first room we were given wasn't cleaned yet. The girl at the front desk gave us a cheese/fruit plate which was nice

Great location, comfortable room, and good service. We had three women in a room for a girls' weekend, and the only complaint we had was that the restroom was too small for us! It would have been nice to have had another area besides the desk for someone to get ready (make-up & hair), but we managed to make it work. Maintenance staff was a little slow to respond. Our drain in the tub was very slow to drain, and we never got a knife that we requested from the kitchen, but overall, the service was very good. Cory at the front desk was awesome!

The hotel was great... But being on the 9th floor having the maitennce room above you does not sit well after a long night. ( lots of noise at 7:00 in the morning ) when you go out of town to relax, also a staff only room next to yours that sounds like the wall is going to fall down...???? Did report these things at checkout and they did nothing. To spend that kind of money on a hotel for us is a lot and for them not to compinsate in any way is crazy. Don't know if we will stay there again.

Came to Nashville for the first time to explore and enjoy downtown and the District. While the lodging was more than acceptable, I found it to be a little further from the District than I had imagined. Once I "discovered" the courtesy van, the remainder of the time was enjoyed all that much more. I'd stay at the DoubleTree again!

When I got my final bill it was different than what Expedia had quoted me...I was expecting the front desk to fight with me about it...but the man at the front desk explained what had happened and corrected the problem right away. I would definately come back to this hotel. We were very pleased.

The hotel was supposedly on 'alert' because of the ASEA convention hitting town that week and while the staff was friendly and said the right things, follow through wasn't what it should have been. We were surprised at check in to get a free upgrade to one of the corner rooms that are triangular in shape with window down both sides. Great light and feel to the room but unfortunately we could only connect the the free wifi if you stood with your device pressed against the door to the room. Since some of the tours and attractions book online it made that impossible to do in the comfort of our room. We called about it twice, one time they sent an 'engineer' up-he looked at his hand held device and said "yup, the signal isn't good, I'll have to call ATT" then got a call on his walkie to fix a curtain rod and left. Never resolved by the time we checked out...So if you have a choice definitely ask for an inside room regardless of the upgrade.

Nice hotel. I'd stay here again. The cookies were delicious. I thought the bed was too soft. Made it hard to get out of. Had an issue with the valet. My husband and I were offered the shuttle for a ride downtown. They will come back and pick us up!!! Great!! Only they didn't tell us the service is only available until 11:00pm. So at 11:45 pm we were either walking or taking a cab. Took the shuttle a second time and waited to see if they would tell us the cut off time, they didn't. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay.

The hotel was lovely and in perfect location for our group. The suite was amazing and the front desk was nice enough to put both of our rooms on the same floor, however, they did say they would be next to each other but they weren't- no biggie. My main concern was that I booked through a third party (hotels.com) and when I went to pay my bill at checkout, I noticed they were trying to over charge me! I had paid the majority of my bill when I arrived and they were trying to authorize my card for triple the amount that I actually owed. I had to go to the front desk twice in order to 'resolve' this however, it was not resolved until I checked out and had to speak with Josh the manager. He was very nice and finally helped me sort out the situation. It was just really frustrating when my group was only there for 2 days.
