This hotel would be for last resort. Stayed for 4 days, only stayed for last three days because it was non-refundable. Pool was less the perfect close to being a pond. Area was noisy and the rooms were somewhat unclean, slept on top of bed spread with a sheet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was disapointed. The pool was light green. I don't like seeing people hanging out.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Place was old. Door to room didn't close whole way. Ice machine was broken. Not in a great area. Pool was dirty.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"In need of an update"
We didn't actually stay overnight. We had planned to but our trip was shortened which was fine by me. Our room was about 2 stars. I didn't really want to sit on the sofa in our room, much less touch the bedspread. The entire hotel is in need of a huge update. The billboard boasted of the largest pool in town. Guess that was the selling point. It looked […] clean and was in use. The surroundings of the hotel in general was ok. But lots of shady characters roaming around. Lock your car and door. "smoky smell and noisy"
Room smelled like smoke. Walls were thin and room noisy from other guests. Breakfast below par with bad coffee.Genuine Expedia guest review
I stayed here for a night with a friend. Right after we walked in our room with our luggage we smelled smoke in the room although it was labeled as 'nonsmoking'. I told the staff at reception about this and he assigned us to another room. We carried our luggage to this new room upstairs, we unlocked the door and we smelled smoke again. This was also […] labeled as non smoking. We decided to settle in. It was last week of December after Christmas, the temperature was close to zero, we turned on the heater right away. The heater ran loud, the room did not warm up after 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours or in the morning, the room was getting colder, I crawled under the comforter. We had breakfast the next morning at hotel, the selection was next to nothing. I generally had better or decent 'included' breakfast at hotels. My low rating is not about breakfast, its because they failed twice to provide a nonsmoking room and wasn't honest about it. The management was polite and told me they will check out what is going on. I hope they will although I'm skeptical. It seemed that they take it to be normal for their hotel. Look for better option. And don't forget to take a walk at washington harbor waterfront, watch the sunset and take pictures. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"It was OK...."
Motel needs updating - whole interior of room out dated. Continental Breakfast was poor. Staff was very friendly and responsive. We had an event in Williamston, NC but all hotels there were booked solid - this was one of the last options for lodging... Price was cheap - 75 bucks - through Hotels.com. Over all - experience was OKGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"I would pass on this one"
This motel was been well used with out any up dates. The walls are so thin one can hear complete conversations from next door. Hence, we did not get any sleep until after 4am. After looking at the shower I decided to pass and wait until I got home. I will not stay at this motel again.Genuine Expedia guest review
I was very comfortable with my stay. I slep exceptionally well. The room was clean and neat. I had a micro wave oven, hair dryer, refrigerator, a king size bed that was very comfortable. my money was well spent.thanksGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not so bad"
We stayed at this hotel as a cheap option before our bed & breakfast since we were getting into town very late. Based on other reviews I was expecting this place to be a total dump. But it really wasn't so bad! The room was clean and had updates like new tile and granite countertops. The staff was friendly. It's nothing to write home about but gets […] the job done for a minimal price tag. My only complaint is that our non-smoking room still had a musty smoky smell. "okay for the price"
The staff was nice, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast offerings were fine. Nothing fancy. As with all lower-range motels, the walls are thin, so your sleep will depend on when your neighbors go to sleep. Also, this hotel apparently accepts pets. So, if a guest leaves Fido in the room while he goes out for dinner and drinks, you get to listen to […] Fido protest. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

I should have known when I walked up the stairs to the second floor and spied the cockroach leaving. His bags were backed and he was running for the exit! "Large comfortable room for an extended stay."
My husband and I needed to spend a week in Washington NC to visit family. We were really pleased with this motel. It was much better than I expected for the price. Cheap is the only good thing about this hotel. Hotel is run down, and dirty. Website indicates it was recently remolded. Not sure what they remolded. No iron or coffee maker in room. You have to go to front desk for these items. Washcloths looked like someone had washed their car with them. Be sure to bring your own sheets and comforter, I would hate […] to see what’s crawling on them. That was the first thing I did was strip the beds and put my own sheets and blanket on that I brought from home. There were no parking spaces; all were taken up by construction workers staying here while working in the area. If you want the experience of staying in a slum... this is your place. If you are looking for a place to lay your head without many extras, this meets the needs and that is all. This is exactly what I was looking for on my trip, but not sure I will do it a 2nd time. Ok, if people loitering outside doesn't bother you, Clean rooms, continental breakfast. Near restaurants.

Take the good ( or Acceptable ) with the bad, if you can. Good price, clean place. But if open doors and wandering guests stir fear in you, look elsewhere. I was somewhat apprehensive, but no one bothered us ( luckily ). I mentioned this to the clerk at check-out, she seemed unconcerned. Therefore, no apology=no reference.

It was a fair stay at the Days inn. The staff and manager was great! real nice people. The only thing is they took a long time to get sheets and towels to our room. They ice machine didn't work and you had to get ice from the front desk. But overall still a good stay and a good price. I will go back again!
"Quiet and Relaxing"

I needed a place to stay for the weekend. I was traveling with my two children and wanted a hotel with a pool. The Hotel was reasonably priced. It is not a fancy hotel and was surprised how comfortable I felt. Our room was quiet, even with a pool view & kids yelling. The staff was nice and was concerned that we were ok. On the day of our departure a desk clerk stopped my daughter and told her she could not take any of the breakfast food to our room. We had done this the day before and no one said anything. My daughter was very embarrassed b/c every hotel we have ever stayed in (that served a continental breakfast) allows you to take your food. Other than that- we had a nice stay.

We checked out this hotel in Washington, NC. There are not many choices in Washington, NC. I researched price and quality. I am pretty easy going and not too much of a complainer. I reviewed their Website they had great reviews, and I found out they are part of the Wyndham family of lodging. I joined the Wyndham rewards program and got the new member rate. I drove 12 hours and arrived in the evening at dark. When I pulled in I witnessed what appeared to be a drug transaction at the downstairs motel room, and I also smelled marijuana. I observed several motel rooms with their doors open and the occupants appeared like thugs. I went inside the lobby and the front desk clerk was rude, and dressed in middle eastern attire. The Lobby smelled like heavy ginger and was filthy. You cannot even imagine my disappointment. I was tired, and eager to unwind, and sleep in peace. I explained to the front desk clerk, what I witnessed and she stated She didn't know, and made it very obvious she didn't care. I ended up going down the street to a Comfort inn (That's another story) When i explained I would not be staying there as a result of what I witnessed she called someone on her cellular phone and spoke Arabic, so I could not understand, but when she hung up she proceeded to explain to me that I would be charged $166.50 for cancellation of my reservation and If I had a problem then I needed to go online and complain there to the people I made the reservations with? Frustrated, and now angered I left and called Wyndham member services. After 4 seperate calls, and speaking to customer service representatives who really don't give a crap about you, your experience or your family, I finally got to the manager of member services, She was Apologetic, and was a yes person. it has been 3 weeks now, and I ended up disputing the $166.50 charge to my credit card. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, TURN AROUND AND START RUNNING. STAY IN NEW BERN, OR GREENVILLE IF YOU CANT STAY AT THE HAMPTON INN IN WASHINGTON.
"Mouse Trap Room"
05/14/14 Chris B Washington
Rooms have exterior doors; I was under the impression at the time of booking that the doors were interior. When we arrived there were people hanging out on the sidewalks outside their rooms. There was a band playing in the building that contained the check-in desk. That building was separate from the building with the rooms - however the noise from the band could be heard in the rooms. While looking for an outlet to plug in my phone charger, I discovered a mouse trap behind the night stand. I expressed my displeasure to the front desk but got nothing in return other than "we don't have a bug problem, it's preventative". We had two rooms booked, only one had the mouse trap so apparently the approach of prevention is practiced selectively - probably based on which rooms have mice! On the plus - beds were comfortable and tv was nice.

BookIt.com messed up our reservations. The employees at Days Inn took care of everything. Gary (at the front desk) was terrific. I had reserved 2 room for my daughter's graduation. All the hotels in the area was packed. Our rooms were nice and they even made sure that we had a handicap room for my parents.

This hotel needs a lot of work. Our bathroom door had a hole in it, the main door had multiple paint problems. We reserved a room with 2 queen beds and were given a room with 2 double beds. It was ok for one night but would not go back until upgrades are made.
