Bad choice - don't stay here. Gross Rusted, old & pink ! The only positives were Great location & has a full kitchen yes - but truly old old old rusted smelly hotel rooms with the pool the size of a bathtub. Big expensive mistake !

i really enjoyed staying in Llima Hotel. After staying at a different, more expensive hotel, Llima offered more extras that would have cost quite a bit more. We loved our stay at the Ilima. The location is fantastic: it's right near Waikiki Beach, there are many bus lines and trolleys that run right near it, and there are so many restaurants nearby that we had trouble choosing which ones to go to! Although the hotel itself is a little old, it was clean and well-maintained. We had no problems with mold, bugs, […] or anything else. We were on the 12th floor, and were not bothered by noise from the street or from other guests. The beds were pretty comfy, and there were several extra pillows and blankets provided. This hotel deserves the rating it has earned. The hotel staff was top notch. My room was comfortable. I was warned that the free parking may not be available at times but it was when I was there (inexpensive alternatives were suggested). My only gripe was with the slow wifi. This hotel is certainly a good value in the price range.

The entrance was nice looking, but the hotel showed it age when you entered. The place feels like it used to be condo's...weird closets, felt like nothing had changed since the late 70's...bed was confortable, but the room had a queen and king bed, but the headboards were both queens...there was no blanket other than the dustcover...

This Hotel was great for a 5 night stay with family with 2 kids, I had a deluxe studio with full kitchen 1 double 1 king beds and there was still much room for my 2 years old to run everywhere. you can notice that the building is kinda old but they put much effort to keep everything clean and shiny. The pool very very small and they claim that it is […] heated but it is not, it wasn't a problem for us because we went to the beach every day. the beach is five minutes walking from the hotel. they have free parking free internet so it was great, we actually didn't ever used the car because everything is too close to the hotel (Grocery, pharmacy, restaurants, beach, fun street shows). the view is good starting from floor 10, we were ate 14 so we could see the canal and the mountain, below floor 10 you feel like you are squeezed between the other buildings' garages. the front disk and room service were very nice and we came every time to find the room cleaned and arranged , new towels, you can ask for towels as much as you need. when you go to the beach they offer towels and mates. in general this hotel was very good for our trip with that price. Very nice room, very quiet at night, the location is great, few of blocks away from Waikiki Beach, very close to the Zoo, Diamond Head, and a lots of great shopping, a grocery store is close by. They have coffee at the front desk, also towels & mats to use at the beach. Everybody at the front desk we met was very friendly. Will stay here again.

Whenever my wife and/or I are on Oahu overnight, we always stay here. Free parking, no "resort" fees (for things we wouldn't use), a comfortable bed, kitchenette, convenient location, clean room, friendly staff. Great little bakery (St Germaine) just down the street for breakfast treats.

The hotel front desk personnel were very helpful and extremely friendly. It is almost impossible to find a room this large and with a kitchen in Waikiki for this price. This hotel room would have been even better if it had a little updating of paint, carpet, bedding.

The two bedroom suite was very spacious. For the price, this room was well worth it. There were two double beds in each room, plus a murphy bed and a sofa pull-out in the livingroom. Not the most luxurious hotel room i've ever stayed in, but it was definitely a bargain.

Stayed two nights in Honolulu on our way back home. Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of International Marketplace, lots of restaurants, bus and trolley lines, and Waikiki Beach. Room was very spacious studio with two double beds and a full kitchen. Personnel were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Ilima from Jan,5 to 14. Every time I asked them services such as installing an extra tissue box, shuttle booking to the airport, and chaging currency, they immediately responded our request. Enery staff asked us, "Do you enjoy? Everything is ok?" They seem to be professional with namely Aloha spirit.

I feel so comfortable when I and my family were stayed in IIima Hotel. We rented the room with kichen, well it is designed so easy use and it filled with all the kinds of tools for cooking. Room were kept clean every day as well as updated the basic bath room staff which hotel free supply to guests. Also the parking place is really good! And if you go across two blocks, you will arrive in the most famous shopping street, Coach, Chanel, etc. as well as international market, Waikiki Beach are all located over there. We enjoyed staying there. Especially fun was seeing all of the employees singing songs together in the Friday morning 11:30 am sing-a-long. Maintenance men, house keepers, managers, etc. What a nice thing to do.

We like to spend a time out using the room's balcony. The Hotel and stuff was very nice .....but the manager was bad. We booked a room for 3 days/16-19th of Nov/ with Mileage + /Chase / credit card and after that with Expidia for the next 5 days /19-14th of Nov./ For unknown reason we must to check out on 19th at noon and check in around 3 pm in different […] room on the same floor / 4th/ with very ugly view . I asked the front desk "Why we have to move ?" The answer was ....." because that room is very easy for sale". We booked the rooms ......around June 2012 and the price of the rooms was the same on 4th,5th and 6th floors. Some people doesn't care to much for the balcony ,but we do. While we enjoyed the friendly staff and the spacious room, we were disappointed by how old and shabby the room facility was. The hotel need some major upgrades, including the windows, carpet and stove. The bedroom windows were never fully shut (hence, we could hear the street noise throughout the night, which kept me awake for the most part) and one […] of the bedrooms had its window broken and was imperfectly taped together. The stove handle came off when we tried to boil some water, which discouraged us from using the kitchen altogether. The carpet was stained here and there and a bit smelly. Large studio with king and queen bed. Clean kitchen with pots, plates, utensils. Very close (5min walk) to awesome stretch of Waikiki beach. No hassle beach towel service. Large balconies with beautiful mountain view. Very comfortable stay. Short walk to grocery store. Laundry on 3rd floor, $1.50 wash, $1.50 dry. Several machines.

Very unhappy that the hotel would not exchange the dates of our stay after we checked in - we wanted to add days on the end in exchange for days booked. We ended up paying for nights not used and choosing another hotel for the end of our trip. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The hotel is in a great location -- a few blocks from Waikiki Beach. You are in the middle of all all the action in Waikiki. The room was spaciens appliances in the rooms were useful (but old). Beds are not the most comfortable. My only real complaint is that the lobby area has a strange smell.

The hotel is located close to the shopping area and beach. The staff is excellent and always willing to help. They do not have WiFi in the rooms, but cable. They only have WiFi in the lobby area. The bed was extremely good to sleep in.

The room has a flat screen TV with little free interesting channels. There is no in-room WiFi, only WiFi that one can log in with password in the lobby each time one wishes to access e-mail or the internet. There is also a pay for use computer in the lobby which one might use to print a boarding pass. (But of course that can be done for free at the […] airport.)
