I visit the area a lot, and have stayed in a dozen different hotels in the last several years, and did not find this an exceptionally good value. While a nicely designed building with decent amenities overall, the upkeep of the space felt a bit mediocre: soiled carpets in lobby, chewing gum and small pieces of trash here and there in the elevator and […] hallways, which didn't get picked up at all for days -- surprising, given the pretensions of the place. I especially despise the attempt to over-monetize by charging (an extremely exorbitant fee) to use the internet -- and even signing on for that was cumbersome and difficult. The hotel left airplugs on our pillows. At first I wondered why but when trying to fall asleep we heard everything in the next room over. Both my husband and slept terrible since there was constand talking and noises from the next room all night long!

The lobby was quite big, but it didnt match to the 31/2 star that the hotel had. Stayed in Hyatt Place the day before and it was much better than the accomodation in Hyatt Lisle.

For the money, this is a great buy! The only downfalls to the stay is that their are not too many places to go eat near the hotel, and the hotel restaurant is a little pricey. Other than that --- excellent hotel!

I was told from my Hotels advisor when I booked my two night stay that I was getting a King Suite, When I arrived at the Hotel, I was told that all they had available was a double twin!! This was suposed to be a nice getaway but it was a little cramped. I was also given a roon facing the expressway which was very noisy but tolerable. The Hyatt rooms are spacious and nicely appointed with a desk area, comfy sitting area on one side of the room, and large flat screen TV that swivels 180 to the king bed area on the other side. We stayed for two nights while we visited Chicago. After checking in, while the room looked clean for the most part (on par with the average hotel), the toilet in our room had not been flushed since it was last used. Aside from that, everything was in order, but that alone is pretty bad! The bed linens are also below average and show signs of wear, […] as I would expect from a cheap motel, not Hyatt. On a positive note, when we came back from dinner with leftovers we asked for a fridge and one was immediately sent up to our room. The day we were flying out, we had breakfast in the hotel restaurant, this was a bad experience from start to finish (we ordered the buffet): -Even if it had been clean and hot, the food was just "OK" (what you'd expect from a very cheap hotel) -The hot foods were cold -The pastries had flies all over them -When we brought it up to the manager he was willing to have the kitchen make us fresh eggs -- and that was it. After we paid for breakfast with a credit card (no discount was offered for giving us a pile of garbage for breakfast) they also charged it to our room! We had to argue with the front desk and instead of calling over the waitress or manager (just minutes after we paid for the food) to fix the issue, we were told "then show me the receipt!" I'm still waiting to see if they will fix the extra charge on my credit card or if I will have to call to dispute the issue again. Read more

Very pleased with my experience at this hotel. Only negative comment was that the restaurant and bar menu have limited options for food, especially if you are vegetarian. The portions are massive but of very average standard. The pleasant and helpful bartender made up for any deficits. Would definitely use again.

We enjoyed the room. There was more than enough room for our family of 4. The location was great - close to airports, downtown and the suburbs we visited. Several malls are nearby, and lots of shopping and restaurants 5-10 minutes away!!

I was very upset we stayed Friday & Saturday night and our room wasn't cleaned until 4:00 the next day. Very inconvenient, I even called the front deskt to complain at 2:00 they were going to contact house keeping. Room still wasn't cleaned until 4:00.
