The clerk was stubborn and unwilling to correct what he said was an error. He said he had no double bed rooms that I booked then had them once I called hotels.com. He then charged me $20.00 extra. I won/t stay there again.

Not a bad location, and they do try and keep the rooms clean, but you can't ignore the sour burning sensation in your nose, from years of accumulated cigarette smoke in the rooms. Smells all day, smells all night, and I was happy to leave in the morning.

The room was clean, the air conditioning worked, there were plenty of towels and the bed was very comfortable. Really, what more could you ask for? The complimentary breakfast was a little sparce with just cereal, toast, coffee and juice but it was fresh. The staff was very friendly and check out was a breeze.

It was too bad that we didn't know that the pool was under renovations. All that the clerk only pointed and tapped at a paper taped to the desk that read "pool under renovations". I was in town for my son's soccer tourney and we were looking forward to the pool to relax in and hot tub to warm up. Rooms were large and clean. Bathroom was a little small but one's never there long :). The continental breakfast area was small and with two hockey teams staying in our hotel, there was only 4 tables to sit at and they were always running out of breakfast to serve the numbers. More variety of breakfast would be nice. Would stay here again.

Location was great with restuarants and etc. around... breakfast nook was clean and continental breakfast was okay. the room..... well, smelled very smoky, even observed the next room to us with someone smoking inside (door was open)... supposed to be a non-smoking rooms. vacuming inside was poorly done as areas around the bed had not been vacuumed. […] bathroom was so-so. clean enough but lacking a blow dryer and also the room area lacked an alarm clock. After viewing the surrounding conditions of the hotel during our second stay there, I became more aware of how run-down it appears. Specifically the "courtyard" in the back and the pool itself needed a good scrubbing. However, the room was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. When we arrived, the exterior of building and parking lot looked extremely old and outdated. The attendant put us in a room that the toilet did not flush, and the tub had a brown stain across the bottom and 4 inches up the sides like rust. I informed the attendant immediately gave us another room. It made me wonder if the owners know the condition of […] their rooms! The next room had obviously not been vacuumed as there were sunflower seeds on the floor by the beds. The beds were really comfortable. Front desk staff not very well trained. The room was moldy...stale smoke (non smoking room) and a very strong chemical smell !!!!

The room was large.....somewhat clean.....bathtub had hair in it......pool area and pool were "FILTHY".....should not have been in use. The baby crib was filthy and had "vomit" on it. Manager tried to be accommodating....we did get a $20 return....would not return!!!!!

The room was basically fine with one critical exception - it had a rank smell like a smoker's room. It was through the whole place. This room was designated as a non-smoking room. As a result, we could not sleep well during the night, with my wife being awake for several hours. This spoiled the night for us!!!

This motel is in need of some renovations. The air conditioner had lots of exposed foam caulking around it. It was also difficult to get to this motel but that has more to do with the strange layout of the town rather than the motel it self.
