I used this hotel as a stopover twice in two weeks while traveling to eastern Indonesia. The hotel is very clean and the rooms were well maintained. The price is very reasonable for the value received. The meals in the hotel were overpriced by Indonesian standards but directly across the street is a huge modern 3 story mall that had a dozen reasonably priced restaurants to choose from. The only negative is the distance from the Jakarta Intl airport. In light traffic (if there is such a thing in Jakarta) the trip takes 30-40 minutes. In heavy traffic, it takes 60-90 minutes. If you are not in a hurry, then this is a very nice hotel. I recommend the hotel's private airport transfer service - it's safer and more reliable than the local taxis and about the same price. One other thought - I had a suite on the second floor on my second visit. Great room but the noise from the live music on the first floor was very loud in the room. It stopped around 10 PM. If you need to sleep after long flights, consider a room on a higher floor.

The Dharmawangsa is in a relatively convenient location if you are doing business in downtown Jakarta, a city with legendary traffic jams. It is an older hotel but immaculately cared for. It had a VERY large bedroom and bathroom, which was nice. Perhaps for reasons of privacy, the hotel is not clearly marked. Our taxi driver had to stop and ask directions several times.

This hotel is probably the worst of all Sheratons. The condition of the hotel is old and neglected. Mosquitoes are everywhere and it would be best for guests at the hotel to be aware as there could be a danger if it is an Aedes mosquito. The hotel put me on a SPG floor but it is hardly SPG worthy. The bathtub is not so clean. There is muddy water for […] the first few minutes when you run the tap before clean water comes out. The telephones provided is dirty. The bed sheet, pillow covers, comforters, towels and etc. are stained/dirty. The room slippers provided looked used/recycled to guests and it is unhygienic if they really do so. Overall, maintenance and upkeep of the hotel has been highly neglected. However, the service and the people there are fine and commendable. Read more

2011年11月、初のインドネシア出張で利用。綺麗なホテルで、コンシェルジュやフロントもみんな親切に対応してくれた。ただ、周辺に英語が通じるレストランや商店などが無いのが難点。もちろんホテル内は問題なし。
