The rooms are indeed clean and generally in good condition (my AC had to be repaired on the 1st day, however). However, one does get tired of all of the fees. Nice hotel, but I booked a room for 4 adults and 1 child. There were 2 queen beds, so I called for a roll-away and was told that it would be a fire hazard in my room with the 2 queen beds. LOVE the location of the hotel to the airport and freeway access. The hotel treats you with a cookie upon arrival (customary). Hotel staff was friendly and worked with me to change my room preference from 2 queen beds to 1 king sized bed. No noise could be heard from neighbors, walls were thick and room was clean. "Close to the airport is the only redeeming factor"
We stayed here prior to any early flight out of SJC so that we could go ahead and return our rental car and catch the airport shuttle early in the morning. We had a very busy week so we just wanted to relax in the hotel room, order in food, and watch a movie. Issue #1: When we tried to order the movie it wouldn't work, so we called the front desk for […] help. A technician was supposed to come to the room to help, but have 1.5 hours no one showed up. We called again and someone finally came up but the problem was still not resolved. After another 1.5 hours of the tech coming in and out of the room, we were finally able to watch the movie. Due to the hassle, we were not supposed to be charged for the movie, but of course they tried to slip it in. Issue #2: The air conditioner did not work in the room. But due to the hassle and time with the getting the movie straightened out, we did not complain. Luckily it was comfortable enough outside so we just opened the patio door and ran the fan. Issue #3: There was a large delay in adjusting the shower temperature. So you'll need to be careful in adjusting the temperature especially with kids, as you could scald yourself very easily. Parking cost $19.00 per day and that is not mention on description. I would not book if I know at the begin. Location is not down town and Hotel not have parking for their customer that mean we just rent out spot in low class area. It should be all included at lease parking. When I arrive at the hotel around 1am, they told me the room carpet is wet. They claimed every hotel in that area has been booked, even motels. The stay itself was amazing, the hotel is beautiful our view was breathe taking. The omly downside was a guest on our floor fighting with who ever she was fighting with and screaming very loud. There was a tray of leftover room service scraps in the hallway where my room was for over 12 hours. I watched one employee walk right past it. My door to my room could barely close. I am a hilton honors member, yet get no offer for internet services when I check in. I have never been offered a room on the floors designated Hilton Honors. I mostly get the first floor near the parking lot. Despite having stayed here more than 20 times. The bfast buffet is generally good and the staff there attentive. I tried to get a wine at the bar in the evening and the waitress did not know any of the brands available or their price points.
