The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Manager on duty offered to show an older room that was more spacious. Great deal even for the older room because it was well maintained and quiet. This hotel is a local gem.

This was a spotless comfortable and surprisingly pretty hotel, right on a park. The staff was very accommodating when I asked for a gluten free meal, they took me back to talk to the chef and cooked me a special meal that had no cross contamination.

Very nice stone floors in bath & entry. appointments were tasteful and good quality. Good decor. bed was far too soft for me, really not comfortable. no noise from adjacent rooms, very little from hallway. air conditioner in-room was noisier than i like, so i left the window open as far as the window lock would allow, about 4 inches, and that was good […] enough at night. heavy drapes, dark enough for sleep. generous closets & hangers. i writing desk & chair, again too big and soft. The hotel is at a very convenient location, close to shopping and the freeway. It is very nice, the lobby feels upscale. The exterior color is a bit dark, not vibrant, but maybe this is by design to draw business crowd in ?? The room is roomier than many other hotels in the same price range, and it has a microwave and small fridge. The swimming pool […] could use a bit more heat, but the kids had such a blast I doubt they notice anything. There are a couple minor issues: 1) The air conditioning unit turns on and off way too often, as if looking for the right temp. I had it set at 70. And it was very loud. It woke myself and my wife up a few times. 2) The sliding door to the patio in my room (1119) was very heavy and very hard to either open or close. Read more

We went to Silverwood for the day and stayed for the night. It has stains on the carpet and bathroom floor but it was clean and did not have any strange smells or smoke smell. The whole family (4) slept great. The main inconvenience is there is no free breakfast, fridge, or microwave. We would stay here again.

We needed a place to stay in the area for a family event. The hotel was right in the middle of everything we needed to do. We were pleased with the room and its cleanliness. We would return in the future. Our only suggestion would be a in-room refrigerator. Stayed 2 nights over the weekend of March 2nd & 3rd, 2012. This hotel was in a great location for us. One could walk to the strip mall that was just across the back parking lot. I believe the hotel also offered a shuttle service to the big mall, however we did not get a chance to inquire about it or use it. We had what I believe was a brand new room […] & it was Nice! Comfy pillow top matress, big flat screen tv, very nice bathroom and a nice area that had a little wet bar that had a mini fridge and microwave. Part of the hotel wing in the 300 room area is still outdated, & I noticed as my 3 year old and I walked the hotel grounds that those rooms are what I would call the old section. We peeked in as housekeeping was cleaning and saw older carpet and furnishings, the tvs are the big old ones, not nearly as nice as the room we had, so not sure if going to remodel these or not. So one would want to inquire which room/wing you will be getting so as not to be disappointed. We tried the hotel restaurant twice for dinner and even though previous reviews said food was good we found it just ok, but the atmosphere is nice, on the weekend is live music at 900pm & is a bit loud if you are there just to eat, next time we would go off premises to eat. The heated swimming pool and hot tub are outside and even though we didn't get in we did our feet into pool and it was Nice, I would have liked to jump in! It has everything you need! great menus for kids and adults. The food is amazing fresh and a real culinary taste, they also have coupons for silverwood park. Location is great and has plenty to do but no need to go too far as the pool is heated and the live entertainment for the evening is really nice for couples or groups. Thanks again !

I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a waterbed in the room. That being said, the service was friendly, the room was clean and there were no funny smells. […] Also, they appear to be in the process of renovating some of the rooms, so there is still hope. For the price, it was ok, although with no free breakfast and an outdoor pool, there are better bargains to be found. If however you appreciate the historical aspect and like the idea of being transported back in time, then dig out your leisure suit, cultivate that chest hair and get a room quick, before they finish bringing it into the future. I booked this hotel through expedia so it was prepaid before I got there. When I checked in, the lady at the front desk asked for my credit card in case of incidentals. I understand the need for this. However, I was never informed about the fact that they were actually withholding money, instead of just keeping the card # on file in case something happens. […] Because of this, and because I wasn't informed of this, my account became overdrawn. This was frusterating and inconvenient. Also, I searched for a hotel specifically with a pool and a free breakfast. They had a pool, but no breakfast. I realize this isn't the hotels fault, but rather expedias. However, the pool area was fantastic and I really enjoyed it. I also was dissapointed to find that there was no mini-fridge in the rooms.
