"Luv the Cookie"
Had a great stay at hotel - unfortunately, I was wanting to play tourist in lovely Seattle but the rain, thunder and lightning prevented my outdoor activities but will have to try again further down the road.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Too expensive just for the room and crazy parking charges. Also, there is ALWAYS a line at the front desk. Otherwise, it was nice and had great cookies. Good for the airport which is right there.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient to airport"
Room was spacious with a balcony; didn't like paying for internet access but hotel was convenient to airport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My husband and I was very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The rooms were musty and very, very dirty. We had a non-smoking room with a coke can filled with cigarette butts. The door on the patio had spider webs all over....also spider webs in the room. The mattress needed to be replaced on the bed. The location of this room was a distance to […] walk....go up one floor ...take an elevator to another floor......(a jig saw puzzle). Not a pleasant place to stay. We have stayed at other Doubletree by Hilton on other occasions and enjoyed our stay....this Hotel needs a lot of work done. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall this is always a good spot if you are flying in or out of Seatac. Staff is nice and while the facility is older its well kept. Walk down block to 13 Coins for dinner-famous Seattle spot for a wide variety of foodGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Everything was great but our movie didnt work"
We enjoyed our stay, the restaurants and the service at this hotel. But when we wanted to order our movie, the menu worked, but then stopped right in the middle. The front desk was very nice on the phone and tried to get it to work and even in the morning also. So when we checked out I told them about not being able to see the movie and they gave us […] one free night of valet parking which was very nice. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Was surprised to learn of a $23 a day parking fee. Never heard of this before. I complained and Mgr. reduced it to $10 a day. I asked the desk clerk about handicap parking and she assumed I need a handicap room, which we didn't. We just let it go and didn't change room. learned that there's no real vanity in the handicap type room. "Great Hotel Near SEATAC"
The front desk staff were attentive and provded an upgrade due to my club membership. The room was spacious and clean and had a nice balcony. The free shuttle to the airport was efficient and on schedule. The area around SEATAC is pretty gross....but otherwise a good stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel, but nickel and dime you to death"
I think that the Doubletree is a nice hotel. However, you have to pay extra for everything...parking on site is for a guest that is paying triple digits a night to stay is outrageous. They make you tip for room service and another fee on top of that, I forgot what it was for. I went for a romantic evening with my sweetheart and although the room was […] comfortable and clean the nickel and diming put a damper on the evening. You even have to pay for Wi-Fi. I won't stay there again. There are too many other nice hotels in the area that don't charge outrageous rates to park, use their Wi-Fi or get room service. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Sea-Tac Airport Hotel"
The hotel was very nice, but almost too large to be hospitable - long lines, long walks to the room, pay for parking. The warm chocolate chip cookie on arrival, Doubletree's trademark, is still a very nice touch. Room was nice, clean, with adequate amenities, though nothing special in the $100+ per night category. Not being able to access wifi in room for free is ridiculous, especially when it's free in the lobby. Watch for extra charges they don't tell you about unless you ask. I love love love this hotel. Awesome pool, beautiful rooms, a lounge on site: what more do you need? Only drawbacks: it's not cheap here. You will pay extra for parking and extra fees when you book. The only thing I would change is I wish there was a fridge/microwave in the room. I will stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"truly professional, completely satisfying"
I was impressed by the efficiency of my whole experience, but additionally, I was overwhelmed by the comfort and beauty of the hotel experience provided. I prepaid for the room at a very affordable rate, and expected that I would get the usual out-of-date from the 1990's but still clean enough room experience. This was not the case at the Double Tree […] by Hilton at SeaTac. The hotel was massive, and completely new, beautiful, modern, extremely clean and well maintained. There was a true feeling of the contemporary and no shortage of intentional spaces for people to lounge and relax. The staff was very quick to care for customers, curteous, friendly, and very accessible whenever I needed something. Add to that in-hotel dining rooms, a luxurious tropical pool area, a gift shop, and the fitness area, and the experience felt more like one you might have at a resort. The pool looked so very attractive from the central elevator, but I unfortunately was not able to visit the pool that evening. The hotel surrounds the central pool area, giving a lush feeling of a tropical community palazzo. Children and their parents paddled in the water, and I made a commitment to bring my own family back to this location to enjoy it's lovely space and welcoming staff in the near future. "Double Tree Hotel in SeaTac"
Hotel was nice enough and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful but I felt nickle and dimed constantly. e.g. internet was available only for a charge. Bit dated and very impersonal but convenient for an overnight stay near the airport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The atmosphere and furnishings inside are nice. The neighborhood is typical for airports--you wouldn't necessarily want to live there. A bottle of water is more than $5 at the coffee kiosk. "Hot and smelly"
I walked into my room at 1:00 am to 78 degree stagnant air that smelled like lemon carpet powder.I had checked in late night, after a delayed flight, - to a staff member who needs better congeniality training - fast talking, no eye contact, and didn't really care that I was there. Pay for parking $21. Next to airport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel staff was lovely, Location was great, rooms need some work though. Room needed help. Carpet had a huge black stain, you would think house keeping would do something about that, or notify the appropriate party to have that taken care of. The bathroom sink and shower need some work. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable. Transportation […] wise, the Shuttle to airport runs every 20 minutes, which is great if u don't have a car and need to catch the light rail into Seattle. If you have a car, parking is not free. There is a coffe bar in the lobby which serves Starbucks, great for a quick breakfast. They have other food options within the hotel, but i did. Not explore as i dont care paying hotel prices. There is a Denny's right across the street if you don't want to pay the hotel prices for breakfast. For those that like fast food, you also have the option of Taco Bell and Jack in the Box across the street. Pool was nice, it was heated which was a plus. It stays open until 11pm, and they have nice big towels for you pool side. Overall, the stay was pleasant. Just wish they would take more pride in the cleanliness of the rooms. This hotel was an easy shuttle ride from the airport. The hotel is set up in several 'wings'. Our check in went smoothly but finding the room was quite a task. "Decent Hotel at Seatac Airport"
I live about 120 miles from the Seattle airport, and it's very unpredictable how long the drive will take, so I often spend the night before a flight at one of the m/hotels nearby. "Great option close to airport with shuttle service"
First time we stayed we were delayed on flights and exhausted. This was such a nice refuge from the hectic travel scene. "Nice hotel, but watch for the extra charges"
We decided to stay at the DoubleTree because of a rate sale that put it cheaper than most of the two star hotels. Usually I'm a LaQuinta type of guy, but I figured this was a chance to treat ourselves without the extra price. The room was reasonable...nothing special, but clean and comfortable. I was shocked that there was no minifridge or anything, […] but I suppose that's a minor thing. I was shocked at the $21 per night parking. I know that it's an airport location, but I felt that $21 for parking that is outside and really not secure was really an overkill. Also, the wireless internet was a surcharge. I don't know what that charge was, because I decided it just wasn't needed. Long and short of it, the lobby and restaurant are beautiful, but there wasn't really wasn't anything special about the room. Frankly, with all the extra costs and with a room that wasn't any different than most 2 star hotels, I can't say I'd recommend it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not that convenient to anything, except airport"
My stay was ok, but the service was awful when checking in. I only stayed for 1 nite, so my time here was very limited, however I spent at least an hour, if not longer, waiting to be checked in. They has only 2 people working, and at times there only 1 person, and the line was as long as the hotel lobby. When there are an abundance of people checking […] in, I think they need to have a better system in place...very annoying to stand up and wait that long, especially after travelling a distance(Atlanta, GA), and only thing you want to do when coming to any hotel is lay down and rest, before getting your day started. Other than that, the hotel was really beautifulul, once we were finally checked in. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"August 17, 2013 stay at the Seattle DoubleTree"
We reserved a regular 2-queen bed room, & upon arrival we were put in a disabled person's room with only a shower curtain as a substitute for a shower or tub. There were not enough towels nor wash cloths for my husband, myself, nor my 2 daughters - only 3 sets & I had registered for 4 people. The faucet to the sink was broken. Parking was too far away […] from our building to carry luggage. A complimentary breakfast was no longer available as I was used to having at the Double Tree previously. I had stayed in this hotel numerous times in past years while working for the State of Washington & attending staff meetings in Seattle. The hotel was comfortable then, but service and it's general condition had gone downhill since. Even its cleanliness was not up to par. Carpets were very dirty. The only good thing about it was the mattress was comfortable to sleep on. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
