"comfy beds, airport location/shuttle"
We had a wonderful stay, proximity to airport and their shuttle service. Easy access to Seattle through "quick-link rail" at airport. Hotel was clean, rooms clean, staff wonderfulGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Everything was good and comfortable. The only thing that was not good was that the pillows were not supportive for the neck. The down pillows are nice but when it comes to neck support, they are not good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Service, Comfy Beds"
Good service, and great beds. Restaurant was a bit slow, food was just OK.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was comfortable. However the carpet was not very clean. I also thought the prices in the dining room were a bit to high. They serve you orange juice and don't tell you it cost $4.75. That was not cool.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was great, even better if this was counted on my HHonors pointsGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"stay in tower rooms!"
The hotel has two parts an older and newer. We started out in the old part but the whole place smelled very musty. I called the hotel front desk and they were very nice about switching us over to the tower rooms area. These rooms are much nicer and newer. I was disappointed that there was no where to get a free cup of coffee in the am. I consider a […] cup of coffee a hotel amenity. This place doesn't offer it. You'll have to buy your coffee from the Starbucks in the lobby. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to airport. Great for early morning flights."
Room was comfortable. Requested hypo-allergenic bedding - no feather or down - did not get and had issues due to down/feather pillows and. Comforter. Room service was prompt. Bell service, even when scheduled, was very, very poor! What a disappointment.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Room and gym were nice..."
My room was wonderful, the gym was great, and the shuttle was convenient. Unfortunately, our neighbors were white trash, were rude and loud all through the night. Whatever you do, DO NOT go to the restaurant!! We had the worst and slowest service ever; not just once, but twice! The next morning at the little deli/barista shop in front of the restaurant, […] I ordered a small black coffee, a small bottle of water and it cost $7. I didn't realize that the price included a show between a caterer guy and the barista yelling back and forth at one another. Very uncomfortable. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"My 2nd Home @ Seatac"
This is my favorite Seatac Airport Hotel. The service is friendly, efficient and helpful. I love the architecture of the hotel which appears to be from the 80's, but has been completely updated and very well maintained. It has a very nice courtyard pool, as well as a restaurant/bar. The airport is a 5 minute or less shuttle ride away. The shuttle runs […] every 20 minutes throughout the day, I believe. We also enjoy the pay to order movies and room service. "You could do better"
This was simply a place to stay the night before we caught our departing flight; we weren't looking for it to be our base of operations or for an extended stay and that proved to be a very good thing. The room was fine - standard, no frills and serviceable (though we did hear a woman complain, as we checked out, that a chair in her room reeked of urine; […] although this could have been some sort of ploy since I don't know why she would have waited so long to do something about it...). My biggest complaint, however, was the ridiculous charge for parking - over $20 just to park our car for one night! I understand this is becoming standard practice in some areas for some hotels, but I would certainly always opt for a place that didn't "punish" their already paying guests... Doubletree was a great place to stay. Our flight was delayed so we arrived late. The hotel had great trees, and the staff were friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Old and Poorly Run"
At airport, there were no available DoubleTree shuttles for 45 minutes, so we had to take a taxi to the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, we had to stand and wait in line to check into our room for 45 minutes. There were no bell hops or carts available for us to carry our 6 suitcases to the room which was in the farthest building (#5) away from the […] lobby. A simple breakfast for 2 was $54. The hotel is old and needing renovation. Needless to say, we would never stay there again, nor would we recommend it to anyone. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Nice hotel close airport"
The hotel is nice close airport, so don't expect any beautiful views or fun things to do nearby. The service in the restaurant wasn't good, we have to wait to much for diner so we prefer go to eat outside hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean. Good pool. Well equipped gym not big although.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Would have rather found a place you didn't have to pay $21 a night for parking. Other than that it was good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
They recommended a local seafood restaurant that offered a shuttle service to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel. That was nice since the hotel was near the airport, and we otherwise wouldn't have found the restaurant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close To Airport But Awful Shuttle Service"
I chose this hotel because of how close it was to the airport since I was coming in on a late flight. I waited 90 minutes for the shuttle to actually pick me up. It would have been easier to walk there if I didn't have a ton of luggage, 1 year old child, and wasn't raining. They did offer a late check out which certainly mitigated the matter but if […] you want to stay at this hotel don't count on the shuttle picking you up or dropping you off quickly. I took a taxi the next day to catch my flight out since once again the shuttle was nowhere to be found and could not afford another 90 minute wait and risk missing my plane. Also the lobby area was always absolutely freezing day and night. Heading up to my room the next day a overheard a group of folks complaining about how there food was served cold in the restaurant the night before. I would probably avoid this place until management gets there act together. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Booked for my elderly mother"
Got in line to check in. Signage for Hilton Honors was obscured by people standing in line-sign should have been at the end of the line, like at the airport. When we were next, the clerk (her dark blond hair covered her tag), looked at us and asked, not smiling, if we were "Honors" There was one gentleman behind us. "So sorry", and made my 81-yr-old […] mother go to the back of the regular line, behind two young couples (they didn't offer to let Mom go first, either.) We end up with the same clerk, again, not smiling. We asked about shuttles/tours for Seattle. She said she could walk 4 blocks to the train, no, the shuttle would not take her there, and there were no tours. I mentioned Mom can't walk 4 blocks. So why give Mom a room at the furthest part of the complex, approximately 4 blocks away? Asks if we have a car, and shows us how to get to the room. We had to pay $8 for the privilege of driving thru the parking lot. Mom was so far away from the main hotel, I felt concerned for her safety. I went back to the lobby and met with a lovely clerk, Esther, who listened, understood my concerns, and found a room in the tower. And my husband found a brochure for a tour that picked them up at the door, plus the shuttle driver said he would take people to the train. All this running around delayed our return to Vancouver by an hour. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel from outside"
Made the reservation through Expedia for a room with king size bed. We ended up in a room with smaller bed. My only complaint was the unusually expensive and complicated parking arrangements. After paying a premium price for the room, I did not expect to pay a heavy tariff for parking. My bad ... I should just have stayed at the Hilton, where parking was free.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very old property"
This property is old and the floor plan excessively convoluted and difficult to find your way in. Waited a very long time for the shuttle at the airport and when arrived there were only 3 staff at the front to take care of about 50 people trying to check in very late at night. Many of these were flight crew. I would assume that they are used to accommodating […] crew and crowds like this, but have chosen not to provide staff. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

close to airport but they charge (a lot!) extra for parking and the parking is not at all convenient. look into other places that are just as good. also, has an on-site restaurant but food is not good and there is not a lot of choice and it is incredibly expensive to have it delivered by room service. check the charges before you order and certainly […] before you pay any tip! I've always loved the Double Tree hotels. Always nice, clean, friendly, & the cookies at check-in always kicks off a great experience!!!Genuine Expedia guest review
SUCH a weird layout. We came in SUPER late at night and had to wonder around forever to find our room in a daze of travel. Not my favorite.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It took forever to get to our room. Other than the main building, hotel is designed like a maze. Be sure to indicate any walking disability. Also, parking rate is expensive. We unloaded our bags and tried to leave hotel only to find out that if your car was on the premises for longer than half hour, you will have to pay a parking fee.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Decent, safe hotel. Dated, but clean and rooms have nice little balconies. Even though many look over parking lots, they were quiet and there were tons of evergreens and blooming rhododendrons. Fitness center has Precor equipment, not Technogym, thank heavens.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Comfortable for Short Stays"
We spent one night at hotel. It's located very close to the airport and was super convenient to get to. Upsides were the comfortable rooms, excellent guest services, and warm cookies. Downside included one of our rooms smelling kind of funky (possible bathroom issue?) and having all the coffee bars/restaurants charging pretty ridiculous prices. Overall […] would recommend. "Beautiful hotel - very close to airport"
PROS: • The room was extremely clean. • The bed was very comfortable. • The staff was incredibly nice. • The hotel was really beautiful and well maintained. • There is a shuttle to and from the hotel. • The bathroom was one of the nicest, cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen. • The hotel is really quiet. I usually have a hard time sleeping due to loud […] people and thin walls, but that wasn’t an issue here at all. CONS: • The wifi was kind of weak. It worked but was really slow. • Our air conditioning unit did not work at all. We ended up leaving the balcony door open and that made the temperature really comfortable. Had it been any hotter outside I would have complained (A LOT). • The surrounding area isn’t that great. There are a couple fast food places and two restaurants within walking distance but that’s about it. • The hotel is HUGE. If you’re in certain parts of the hotel it’s going to be quite a significant walk to and from your room. Thankfully we were upgraded for being a Hilton Honors member and put in the main building. Some of our friends were in the furthest part of the hotel and said it was about 0.4 miles round trip to and from their room and lobby. I would definitely stay here again assuming I could get a room with a working AC unit. That was really the only major negative issue I had with my stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"A Nice Stopover"
This is a great place to stay. It is really close to the airport, the staff is A-1 and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. The Restaurant Food is exceptional. I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My experience met expectations. I wanted a comfortable room for an overnight at the airport prior to an early flight. The front desk seemed a bit understaffed, but once I got checked in, my room was what I expect from a Doubletree. Delicious cookie, as always, upon check-in. Although there are a number of shuttle buses, they run every 20 minutes from […] the lobby. The hotel bar/restaurant is adequate. Price is a little high, but plenty of drink and food options. Would stay here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
