"Convenient location to Ferry, that is about all"
Although the hotel was very close to the Ferry terminal we were a bit disappointed in the room we stayed in for the price we paid. The rooms, while clean and comfortable are older. Our room was at the end of the building and we had a view of the parking lot all for a price of $164 plus tax. The room was not, in my opinion worth that high of a price. "Great location- Ok Quality Hotel- Pet Friendly"
The location was central and great. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and right on Hollywood Beach. Customer service was mediocre and the rooms were ok. Nothing spectacular. Noisy rooms, a little older and the carpet felt damp and I questioned the cleanliness (I kept my socks on the entire time). As a positive, this hotel did allow my two […] tiny yorkies to stay with us for a minimal fee of $15. We never left them in the room alone but it was a plus to be able to travel with them. This hotel was recommended by a friend who lives in Sequim because of the views. I was told that when I booked they would put in a request for a view room. If it was available I could get it. We stayed on a Sunday night and there was plenty of availability, we were put in a room off the parking lot 1st floor, only window looked out to the parking lot. […] There were stains all over the floors, I took pics incase they tried to blame it on us. Oh yes, I could have stayed in a view room for an extra $30.00 This was not shared to me until we arrived. Hotel is close to park entrance to Hurricane Ridge observation center; very beautiful. The room was large and spotless; very nice. The resturant was over priced and right out of the 50's. Food was aweful. There is a Wendy's on hwy 101. The drive to the beaches two hours west of Port Angeles is a ride through miles of trees and no real views; the beaches […] are not easily accessed and very average; no wow factor. Almost anything u need was within 10 minute walking Distance, harbor, restaurants, food joints, clothing, mini museums, Grocery stores what more do you need.
