Radisson Madison was fine for what I needed...just a place to sleep for the night. Check in was easy, Sleep Number bed was nice, and the free hot breakfast was good. Hotel doesn't look that appealing from the outside, but inside is nicely decorated and updated. Pool was closed, restaurant was closed. The Sleep number beds were a nice touch. It was a good way to try out that kind of bed. The price was good. If we ever have a reason to be back in that area we'd probably try it again. Upon arrival I notified the front desk that the room was not what I reserved, or even what was advertised on the web site. The employee told me it was my fault for booking through a third party, that there are no guarantees unless the reservation is made directly with the hotel. This hotel was an older building but nicely redone inside. The check-in and out was a breeze. Our room had down feathers all over the floor and in the bed. The 2 plug outlet that the TV/Mini-Fridge/Coffee maker/Desk lamp only had 1 plug working. So I had to switch between TV and Coffee when I needed some. The amenities were the usual for this hotel […] chain. There was no Free breakfast as was stated in the reservation. I asked about it, and was told to purchase breakfast at the hotel diner "Brasie's" restaurant. Location was nice, right off the highway on the outskirt of the city. "Horrible customer service & not clean at all"
Well let's start with when we checked in it said on our reservations 'King bed'. We go to our room and we found it's twin beds. I called front desk agent, she was rude and said since we booked via 'Hotels.com' we will get what was left and the hotel is booked. I checked online via my phone if hotel was really booked, and sure enough it let me book a […] king bed! Please if you decide to treat customers from other sites poorly, lie better!! Let me continue to the condition of the hotel, it looked like they never vacuum the vicinity at all. Our room well the sleep number beds were both broken. Mine was hard as a metal and other one was too soft to sleep in. The shower area, all the light fixtures were missing protective glasses!!! The sink did not drain. So with that being said I sure hope not all the Radisson are like this one, if so I will never book one ever again!!! Lesson learned. The air conditioning/fan unit stunk....the air it was giving out had a really bad odor no matter if just the fan was going or the a/c....the shower curtain didn't fit the whole tub size so water leaked....supposedly our bed was a sleep number bed but the remote for it was nowhere […] to be found.....the door didn't seem real secure as there was quite a bit of give when it was shut/locked.....
