While the room looked presentable, after sitting in the high-backed chair to watch TV I had to shower to wash away the feeling of being bitten over and over again, itching all night long. Very unpleasant. The lobby is lovely, the grounds look tired and unkempt, the bathroom very clean, but none of that matters if one can't sleep due to scratching all […] night long. The shower was the only thing that kept this hotel from getting higher ratings. The rail was broken away from the wall and the water temperature was difficult to control. Drivers for the courtesy bus to and from the airport were very friendly and courteous.

My stay at this hotel was fantastic. The location of the hotel is a plus. They have a very good customer service, for instant, I called for extral towels and within a twinkle of an eye, it was delivered. The rooms are very spacious and always cleaned. My family really enjoyed their stay at this hotel.

Great hotel, good restaurants on premises, excellent and friendly staff. Quiet neighborhood and near the airport. Comfy room and very clean. The bathroom had all the needed amenities in good quantity as well as mouthwash which is rare these days. The hotel is old and tired. The staff is uninspired and unresponsive. The electrical outlets in my room didn't work and the room smelled musty. Had it not been for the fact that I had just flown in from Bogotá and exhausted, I would have changed hotels.

Overall an excellent hotel. Hotel is clean (newly remodeled) and the staff is very curtious and friendly. Needs a little repair here and there, mostly in the bath. I would also suggest courtesy breakfast. Lesser hotels are offering free breakfast. Pay parking is also a downside.

The hotel was on a little on the shabby side. The shower curtain was old and worn. Also the tub looked like it hadn't been thoroughly washed in a good while. The customer service was excellent.

Doubletree hotels are typically nice and well kept. This location was as expected by my family, clean and friendly. Considering the location being Miami, which seems to be a bit run down usually, this was a nice stay and we would come again.

My son was having eye surgery in Miami and we had to stay overnight for pre-op appointments as well as post-op. When I reserved this room I requested that the room did not have any "down" pillows or comforters because my husband is allergic to down. When we arrived at the hotel, the room had down pillows and comforters, we asked for non-down items but […] the hotel could not provide us with any because they did not have any. They brought us up some more blankets. The down cannot even be in the room, we asked that they come up and get the pillows and comforters, but they never did. We had to move everything into the hallway, they did not pick it up until the cleaning crew came around the next day after noon. We went to WalMart to purchase our own pillows. The room seemed clean, except under the bed looks as though it had not been vacuumed in months. There was also a bobby-pin laying on the floor that was missed. The bathroom was clean. The staff at the front desk were very nice. Overall our stay was ok. Read more

Not the rating claimed to be. Price offered was not the bargain i thought we got. Paying gor the name only. Old, small, lousy pool room service subpar. Cheap parking but probably because of distant location and lousy area. No thanks. Stayed a week, usually pretty easy to please. Staff was friendly. Shopping area inside. Nothing to write home about.

The rooms were spacious but I was missing a fridge and a microwave. They charged us for parking and the hotel restaurants were expensive, however the food was good. The hotel had a big complex of shops where you can buy gifts or souvenirs. It was not easy to find restaurants close to the hotel but the chocolate chip cookies they gave us were delicious. […] The gym was open 24hrs and the internet was free everywhere in the hotel. The hotel is older and probably could use some updating and renovating. Lobby is pretty and the staff were excellent. I was so surprised at the service and friendliness of the staff - probably some of the best service I've ever had. But, as far as what you would expect from Doubletree accommodations, it was not up to par.
