The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel - Fort Worth

I booked this room for my spouse and I would have a night out to ourselves. The hotel gave us a room with 2 full beds. A Full bed is not big enough for 2 people, so I had to have a date night in a separate beds. Plus you could hear everything going on in hallway and outside. The Worthington experience was wonderful from the beginning. We pulled up to the front of the hotel for valet to park our car. And, although the valet service was about twenty two/day, since I inquired about self-parking in the adjacent garage (which was closed at that time), he only billed our stay at the self-parking rate (about sixteen/day). Check-in […] was a breeze,as was check-out. We didn't mention any special reason for booking the Worthington when we made the reservation, but when we went down to the front desk to inquire about restaurants in the vicinity for dinner, Morgan at the front desk was very helpful with recommendations, and casually asked if we were there for any special reason (it was our anniversary). We briefly mentioned this, and upon arriving back in our room after a wonderful evening of dining and entertainment at various places around Sundance Square, we found a bottle of wine, two glasses, a wine opener and four chocolate-covered strawberries in our room. It was a very nice touch for our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the linens were quality. The bathroom amenities were Aveda, and the towels were big. The only flaw that we could find in the entire stay, was that the doors and windows were sound-thin. You could not hear your neighbors next to you, above or below you, but you could hear EVERY little noise in the hallway and street. My recommendation to management would be to invest in noise-blocking doors and windows. Read more

rooms are very nice ! BUT they say DOUBLE BEDS...they are small for double beds ! they USED to use queen size BUT i guess they saved a million $ on downsizing :-( overall great, beautiful furnishings, nice down town location ! And / but self parking is VERY confusing...kinda forces u to do Valet !

Our stay at the Worthington was awesome! Huge picture window with downtown lights & beautiful courthouse. Delicious breakfast buffet in vidalias. Only complaint was i banged my short legs on the platform bed when getting in and out.

Our first morning we were woken up by VERY loud drilling(sounded like it was just above our heads). Our son & daughters rooms were also effected by this--so much so that our son changed rooms. We were never told there would be construction & there were no signs notifying that this was going on. I thought this was very unprofessional.

The room was beautiful the bed was very comfortable...we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and took the Amtrack I had called in advance and requested champaigne and the strawberries and was told it would run about $32 well...they charged us $50...and the champaigne wasnt all that great!! But it was a nice place but kind of pricey.

I think a value of your stay has to do more with what the price is, keep in mind, this is a 4 almost 5 start hotel. We live 30 minutes away and booked this hotel for a date night. At 2am we heard a lot of doors slamming and people talking loudly in the hall. We were disappointed and surprised that internet access cost extra (which we did not purchase). The hotel was nice but for the price and reputation, we expected a little more in the way of extras (i.e., bathrobes, larger pillows, curtains that would actually close completely).
