When we checked in, we asked if we could push up the checkout time of noon to 1:00 pm as we had 1:30 reservations for the Thanksgiving buffet there in the hotel. The young man suggested they make it 3:00 so that we could get our things AFTER the meal, rather than moving them before we ate.

We were looking at staying at some other hotels in Downtown Fort Worth that might have been a little bit cheaper, but when it came right down to it the Worthington was worth every penny. The room was amazing overlooking Sundance Square and it was large and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to walk to dinner, drinks, entertainment and even a little dessert - all within a block or two of the hotel. We know that when we stay in Fort Worth you can never go wrong with The Worthington and hotels.com was able to get us a great deal on top of that.

I had never stayed at a hotel this nice before, so I expected a pretty fancy experience. I was taking my girlfriend up to Ft. Worth to visit friends, and I booked this hotel for us downtown to have a romantic time. At check-in, the lady at the front desk said she was putting us in a room with two double beds. I requested a king, and she simply said "Sorry none available." This was an important point to me. I asked if there was anything she could do, and she flatly said no. My girlfriend and I both thought this was fairly rude. For what I paid, it would have been nice if she at least tried to accommodate us. We were checking in at 3pm which was the earliest possible time. Everything else was fine, and the bellboys were excellent. But, I didn't think it was worth the rate.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel adjacent to Sundance Square. All of the service we received was exceptional, from the valet parking attendants to the front desk, to room service etc. We definitely recommend getting the room rate that includes the breakfast buffet -- the food is wonderful and well worth it. The night we checked in we received a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries which was not part of the package we purchased, but they insisted it was included and there were no additional charges upon checkout, sooooo. The rooms and views are top-notch. Very highly recommended -- we will definitely stay here again!

There is a limited number of nice hotels in downtown Fort Worth. The Worthington is one of them, but it's not the best. It is, however, one of the most expensive. My biggest complaint on this trip had to do with room service. My wife called down for a pizza at around 10:00pm. The woman who answered the phone scolded her, telling her that the menu she was ordering from was out of date and to go find the other one. Then, 45 minutes later the food comes. By this time, both of us had fallen asleep. Instead of knocking loudly, or calling us on the phone to make sure we still wanted the food, the woman with just entered the room. My wife awoke to a strange woman creepily standing over her bed. The Worthington is somewhat of a landmark in Fort Worth. I think it's skating by on it's reputation. I've stayed in all the nice downtown Fort Worth hotels. I'll never stay here again.

Our room was beautiful and we loved the location, view, bedding, etc., but we had a bit of an electrical problem. The lights in our bathroom would shut off about every 5 minutes (lights and electrical sockets). This caused the coffee maker to stop, any hair dryer/hot iron to stop, and all the bathroom lights to go out. Additionally, our television would go out about the same bits of time. It happened pretty constantly over the course of the 2 days. Other than that, the room was beautiful.

The service was fantastic, the convenient location for us was a plus and the hotel itself is quite lovely. The only negative was that we requested a kingsize bed and got two doubles...double beds are tiny! It was doable though and it wasn't so bad being so close! Overall, I'd say this is a ***** Hotel and we're looking forward to staying there next time we're in Fort Worth.

The hotel building itself is very nice and well-kept. I was not as satisfied with my stay as I anticipated though. There didn't seem to be much personality in the environment. I like to experience more of a personal touch and appreciation at finer hotels. I left feeling unappreciated...more like "we're glad you showed up, your room is upstairs, off you go."

We live in Frisco and came to Ft.Worth for the weekend to see the 1964 Beattles at Bass Hall, loved the hotel but it was buzzing with big events, no big deal. One thing that could be improved is having umbrellas on the sun deck and I don't think the AC was working properly--we had it on 65 and it was still warm in the room. Great food and atmosphere. Staff was always willing to help. The wet bar refridgerator was not cold--drinks were luke warm. All in all, we had a great stay-seemed like the hotel was a little higher prices and taxes and recovery fees higher than other hotels. Thanks,
