The overall hotel was fine but the rooms have seen better days. Our room had signs of age but before we left noticed the room had a ton of mold near the window. Would stay somewhere else next time.

We had to change rooms due to tub not draining and dark brown water coming out of faucet for tub. Drawers were broken on the dresser that were not fixed prior to us arriving. My husband and I booked the Radisson for our 3 night honeymoon to Duluth. Knowing Radisson's have a good reputation we thought we'd be in good hands. The hotel is in a great location and was easy to find but that was about the extent of the good. When we arrived we were informed that all the King and Queen rooms had been filled so we were stuck with […] 2 double beds but did get a lakeview room. The view from our 5th floor room was pretty nice but the room looked like it hadn't been updated since the 80's. The furniture was really old and the room was not very clean, I picked up some lint/pieces of something off the bathroom counter, desk, and night stand. We could hear every word of the conversation the guy in the room next to us was having on his phone which was not comforting since we were on our honeymoon. My huband ended up using the second bed as a door barricade hoping that it would also work as a sound barrier. The bathroom was teeny tiny and the room itself made a typically non-claustrophobic person feel claustrophobic. We would not recommend this hotel for honeymoon getaways. We ended up leaving after one night for the Fairfield Inn by Marriott even though our Radisson rate was non-refundable. Read more

Rooms were cold upon arival and took 30 mins to warm up. Not enough water in the hot tub resulted in water being sprayed everywhere by the jets. Beds were comfortable. Service was good.

The hotel is nice enough for one of its age. I booked a room with a king sleep number. The sheets were so scratchy and unpleasant it undermined the adjustable bed experience completely. After 2 nights I had a rash that lasted 3 days. We were there on "black Friday" weekend and the place seemed under staffed for the amount of traffic for that weekend. […] I expected much more class for a Radisson location. The wait for the 2 elevators that serviced 16 floors was ridiculous. I do recommend the restaurant for brunch. Great day time service and food. Dinner is overpriced and over rated. There is an evening happy hour in the "lounge" of the revolving restaurant, however they do not tell you they stop the revolutions at this time and you are forced to be front and center of the bar and (somewhat loud) live jazz musicians for the convienience of the staff so they have less steps to take. We still waited over 10 minutes for a drink refill and almost walked out. I've been in less expensive places with better service. Read more

I was not impressed. Small rooms and the front desk staff was very rude and try to charge more than what was quoted wen we checked in. No manager on staff when you needed help. And they had trainee working the desk without supervisor I am very unhappy and will not very stay there again.

It was a wonderful room one of the best hotels ive stayed in. The roo. Was awsome i loved the sleep number bed it was fun to try and figure out what number worked for me. Room was very clean had a decent view. Was just what my cousin and i needed for out girls night getaway before we went wedding dress shopping for her. Wish their were a few more resturants […] with in walking distance but that wasnt a big deal. Also ive stayed a cheaper hotels that ive gotten a mini fridge and microwave in the room i thought for a more expensive luxurious hotel they would have at least a mini fridge in the room. One of the elevators was broken, and given that the hotel was at max capacity (Badger hockey game and weddings), it took up to 10 minutes before the elevator would arrive, and then we often had to wait for the next one, because it was already full. During check-out, one out of the two elevators were working. We happened to be on the 11th floor and had to wait over 15 minutes for the one elevator to reach our floor- only to be fulled to cappacity with other people coming down from other floors and JJ's. I would have opted for the stairs, but I had a 3 month old ( in a car seat), along with several […] pieces of luggage. After calling the front desk, the woman was unsympathetic and told me to use the service elevator located by the vending machines on the 11th floor. The service elevator was horrific! Trash bags were lined along the wall as we waited for the elevator. It gets worse- the elevator itself was absolutely discusting!!!!! The floors were sticky, it smelled of rotten garbage, and the door jammed half way once we reached the lobby. I can understand the issue regarding the elevators, but the front desk could have been more accommodating considering the fact that I had a 3 month old with me (which I did state when I called). The staff were friendly but the motel was filthy. Stains in carpet everywhere. Room was in poor condition. I would rate it a total of 2. I have stayed in much nicer Radisson hotels. This puts a bad name to Radisson. Much needs updating and a good cleaning. If it was not for good staff , we would of left.

No hot water... I've never stayed at a hotel where the hot water ran out. The batteries on our TV remote died... went to the front desk to ask for new batteries... "ahhh, no, we don't have any batteries." OK, do you have an extra remote that I can use... "ahhh, no, we don't."

Although the lobby was empty the desk staff did not greet us and was curt. The room carpet was deplorable, with a least 6 large stains. The bathroom floor was dirty. We paid $10 for a Select Comfort bed so that was the only plus. The hotel was empty, so they easily could have given us a nice room overlooking Lake Superior. I was a bit nervous about our hotel reservation, after reading some of the dismal reviews that were posted after booking our stay. But, as usual, our stay there was much nicer than what I expected! Our room was nice sized, although we were not in the circular part of the hotel. The pillows were awful, but the sleep number beds worked fine. We found it odd that they didn't provide tissues in the room. The location of the hotel was excellent. We hardly used our rental car, as most of the downtown, Canal Park and several of the area attractions were within walking distance. The view of Lake Superior and waterfront area from the revolving restaurant on the 16th floor was spectacular. We saw it every morning when we ate breakfast there. The breakfast menu was a bit pricy but the food was very good. Room didn't appear to have been cleaned or was barely cleaned. Hair in bed. Pillowcase missing. Toilet paper virtually gone; had to call down for more upon arrival. Requested queen beds with no lake view; received full beds with lake view. Hotel was full and unable to move us to a new room.
