the purpose of this trip was to take my granddaughter to William Penn U and this hotel was convenient to the college and there were restaurants and... convenience stores close by. They served a great full breakfast. Laura was one of the friendliest people I have ever met who manages a hotel. She is also a great cook by Robert p from Utah on 08/22/10

The building & finish of the rooms was extremely poor. I could have gotten trapped in the bathroom or shredded my fee on exposed screws. The bed, however, was extremely confortable, and the wifi worked well.

This hotel is very old and dirty. There were bugs in my room in the tub, sink, and the toilet had a dark ring around it like it had not been flushed for along time. The carpet was very dirty. I was told by front desk person they would have stayed in a different hotel if they were to chose a hotel to stay in due to this ones conditions. For price a ok deal Place was clean but heat was not turned on and it was very cold in the room for most of the night..Cold air leaked in around air conditioner. Desk clerk stated new owner has taken over and is making needed imporvements.

There are not many choices for hotels in Oskaloosa. We have stayed a couple of them and for the price, we were satisfied with Americas Best Value. We will return and stay with them again. The room we had was clean, however we stayed for 2 nights and were somewhat surprised that our room was not cleaned and made up for the second night. The continental […] breakfast, I was told we never saw it, did not start until 9AM. This is an older roadside inn, clean comfortable and cheap rooms. No frills. Just a place to lay your head.
