This was our first stay at this fabulous bed and breakfast hotel, but it definitely won't be our last. Jess, the owner, was the consumate host with great dining and site seeing suggestions. He served breakfast at a time that was convenient to us and both the quality and variety of the meal was superb. If you want to stay just outside the French Quarter, but in quiet and peaceful surroundings, then this is a great choice for anyone.

While reading the reviews for this hotel, we were a bit skeptical that it was really 5 star worthy, however, I could not agree more with the other good reviews. This place was incredible. The owner's personal service and recommendations of things to see and do in New Orleans were right on the money. The breakfasts he prepared were incredible and he was very flexible and accommodating to our schedule. We even ate at separate times one morning, which was no problem. The bed was comfortable, the room temperature well controlled, and the original features of the house were wonderful. The TV in our room was small, only 13 inches, but we did not watch much TV in this crazy city! Although the surrounding area is not the best, the hotel has gated entrances to both the front door and the parking lot, so we never felt anything but safe during our stay. If we ever visit the NOLA area again, we will most definitely be staying at the Five Continents. No other hotel could possibly compare!

My girlfriends and I couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations for our getaway weekend. Our host was extremely informed and knew just exactly how to make us feel at home. He paid such attention to detail, providing us with perfect meals to start our busy days, and anticipated our needs ahead of time. We can't wait to come back, and maybe this time we'll even bring our husbands along, maybe!

This grand house is gorgeous, charming in every way, neat, clean, well-maintained. My suite of rooms was wonderful - big comfy bed with the finest sheets, clawfoot tub, big, fluffy towels -- all the comforts. Price was comparable and in some cases less that a room in the FQ. The location is just outside the French Quarter -- away from the noise, but just a short cab ride, with several unexpectedly good restaurants nearby (try Lola's). Gormet breakfasts were a plus. The owner was very friendly and helpful -- orienting me to NOLA and making several very good recommendations for things to do and restaurants to try. I'm already looking forward to my next stay.

This B and B stands out because of the personalized service delivered by the owner-who made our brief stay memorable because of his excellent dining and tourism recommendations. The breakfasts were memorable!! We usually avoid older homes due to allergy/asthma issues-but had no problems whatsoever. The location is a bit far from the French Quarter so we took cabs to and from the inn.

The owner of B & B goes out of his way to make everyone feel at home. He is very knowledgeable of New Orleans and made great suggestions for my family. He told us about those out of the ordinary places that most tourist would miss. When I return to New Orleans, I will stay again at Five Continets B&B!

This bed and breakfast wouldn't be itself without its host. He is keenly aware of what guests need, want and expect in a top-notch bed and breakfast. The property is absolutely divine. From its palm trees to its off-street parking and from its 12 or 14 foot ceilings to its scrumptious breakfasts, it's "second to none."

The owner of the B&B runs eveything himslef and is extremely hospitable and accomodating. We felt extremely at home and impressed with the service. Great location. Close enough to Frech Quarter to walk for eating, shopping and site seeing, and far enough to enjoy quietness at night! Highly recommend.
