Front counter personnel looked confused while initial greeting was not very inviting upon arrival . once entered into the room the bathroom and the room looked old and needed upgrading leaving me with the impression that it wasn't very clean . although it is very well located and surrounded by very good restaurants . I would not stay there again .Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"First timers to /Quebec City"
Thoroughly enjoyed the view from our hotel room window! Enjoyed our 4 hour walk through the historic district which was so close to our hotel. Disappointed in the cleanliness of one bed in room which had hair on pillows and sheet. Requested a change of sheets. We got moved from 9th to 23rd floor and everything was fine. We would stay there again and […] would recommend to anyone planning a trip to Quebec City! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Beds and cleanliness were excellent. Parking is NOT free as stated on hotels.com. Pool still not open in mid-June. Many good restaurants nearby. Close to historical sights.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"dont waste your time"
Pool closed, hallways smelled like old and musty, roof top restaurant closed, maid was not that good so I would not stay there again. Asked for room with view got confirmation then arrived and got 6th floor nothing view.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My reservation confirmation stated a 4pm check-in time. We arrived at around 5pm and was told by the front desk that our room was not ready, but if we wanted a room immediately we could PAY an additional cost (same room - different view/floor). The front desk then proceeded to inform us that check-in times range from 4pm-6pm. Overall the room itself […] was acceptably clean; however, there was noticeable mold in the bathroom. Also, the rooftop restaurant was not operating at the time of our visit. I hope that future guests have a more enjoyable experience than us, but there are much better options out there. we had a great time and really liked the hotel. we were so sad to hear it is closing this week and we were among the last people to stay there..... it is such a nice hotel and the location was fantastic so we are baffled as to why it would be closing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
While the staff was nice and the room lovely, the hotel was only half open. The rotating rooftop restaurant is only open for Sunday Brunch (not mentioned in ad material). Main restaurant was closed for 2 days of stay. When opened for continental breakfast they wanted $12.00/person for basic bread. Nothing eleborate. The room I was book on was 'Closed' […] (no heat , no power) and the staff was hard pressed to find me a comperable room. I would not recommend this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The only bad experience was the poor and dicriminating service at Galeria restaurant and bar.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"beautiful view of the New Year celebrations"
This was a great place for the excellent view of the New Year celebrations on the Grand Allee (considering it was extremely cold outside!). The staff was friendly and efficient, the room was fine. One thing was upsetting - they cancelled their celebration dinner at the rotating restaurant, so we went to the Hilton instead. This restaurant was closed […] for the whole 4 days we stayed (works only on Sundays!), and we really missed that. Otherwise everything was fine. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel close to the center of town"
Generally the hotel was very nice but the rooftop restaurant which should be a big draw was closed for renovations. Food service in hotel was minimal.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Room requires upgrade."
Good location. Dated room fit-out. Toilet not fixed to the floor, shower tap not functioning properly.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to beautiful park and most of the action"
We stayed 5 nights in October. We walked to tourist attractions and interesting and familiar (McDonald's) places to eat. There was a club around the corner with long lines. It seemed very popular. And the rotating restaurant on top of the hotel offered a beautiful view of Quebec. We had a nice view of the park and the river from our room. The only thing […] dissapointing is that the hotel welcome book listed free shuttle to the shopping center until October. But I was told they didn't offer that service without any apologies. Follow by the question. How many are you? and a confirmation that they didn't offer the service. Three blocks from the hotel we took Bus #801 to the shopping center for $3 eachway. A couple of staff member were wonderful. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"One night stay"
We got a great price using Expedia Unpublished Rate. We got the room by the elevator, like other reviewers stated. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The hotel is worn and needs updating. As others stated WiFi was slow and we were credited the fee when we complained about it.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Beautiful view of Québec City!"
Raised in Québec City. First time at Hôtel. Perfect location. Walkable distance to Old Québec and so much more. We upgraded to get a better view. Expedia's deal had us in a small room near elevator.Genuine Expedia guest review
Wonderful locationGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I was not impress with he service and accommodations. For a Lowes hotel, you expect luxury services which was not the case. Also, too many teenagers renting rooms.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice rotative restaurant"
My wife and I had an overnight stay at this hotel. We dined at the rotative restaurant of the hotel and were enchanted by the beauty of the scenery. It's in an excellent location. We walked into the old town of Quebec City from the hotel in the early morning. We enjoyed staying and relaxing at this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Staying at leConcorde"
I knew nothing at all about this hotel when I booked our one night stay. I was in a hurry and it came u0p on Expedia so I made the reservation. You can imagine my pleasant surprise when I arrived and discovered the luxury, b eauty, friendliness and helpfulness that characterizes this establishmentGenuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent city view with room upgrade"
We paid an additional $30 per night for an upgrade from the Expedia discount room (near the elevator w/ no city view & queen bed) to the full city view room with king bed. This was well-worth the upgrade.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent location and accommodating staff"
Great access to the upper and lower town. Good restaurants right around the corner. Convenient to walks in the park. Good sized rooms that are quiet. Would use this hotel again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is convenient to historical sites, just out the door. The Joan of Arc park, across the back street was beautifully decorated for halloween. We had a wonderful breakfast at the hotel's spinaker on the top floor. This is an excellent breakfast that should not be missed. The fruit as fresh and ripe. The staff at the front desk were very helpful […] and even made a telephone call for us to secure a bus and walking tour for us. What a beautiful city and beautiful people. "Beautiful hotel in a great location"
Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by their staff. All were exceptionally pleasant and helpful, especially the bellhop/valet area people. They were great about suggesting places to see and the best manner in which to get there... by bus, on foot, etc. The view from their revolving rooftop restaurant is SPECTACULAR! While their dinner prices were […] beyond my budget, but I did enjoy their breakfast buffet. The overall height of the hotel (26 stories), together with its unique round top restaurant, make it easy to spot and thus find your way "back home" from various areas in the city. We really enjoyed our stay at Lowes. Everyone was friendly and professional. But what's up with charging $13 for WiFii when it's free at your competitors. And why is breakfast not included? We enjoyed the coffee in our room. Very nice touch! The Sunday Brunch was fabulous and lot's of choices. A Olmette station would add greatly. Overall a great stay. […] We will return! The hotel is extremely nice. Our room was on the 23rd floor overlooking the St. Lawrence River. Beautiful view. Also close walking distance to restaurants and the old town of Quebec City. They said the revolving restaurant on top floor was closing soon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Hotel. Good location."
I got to be upgraded to the 25th floor over looking Chateau Frontenac. Beautiful view!Genuine Expedia guest review
Fabulous view, great service, very nice staff. Their wine list needs some work, though. Great roof-top restaurant with yummy food, but the only California white wines offered by the glass were Fetzer and Woodbridge...at premium prices, no less. No decent restaurant anywhere serves jug wines when there are so many other great options!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room and hotel were immaculate. The staff was very courteous. The location of the hotel is perfect for visitors who want to walk to Old Quebec City.Genuine Expedia guest review
With only one night to enjoy beautiful Quebec City on a quick business trip, I was happy that the hotel staff suggested some very reasonable upgrades from my economy room to one on an upper floor with a king-size bed, a balcony, and an amazing view of the city (facing the river and the mountains). After an evening exploring the old city on foot and […] a great dinner, the view from my hotel room gave me more time to enjoy the lights of the city at night. This hotel has a great location, right on the Grand Allee with shops and restaurants and next to a large beautiful park (Parc Champs-de-Bataille). The business center in the lobby, with two desk-top computers and a fast printer was a great resource in the morning when I needed some documents at the last minute. Next time I visit, I plan to make use of the hotel fitness center and the rotating restaurant above (L'Astral). Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"close to excellent restaurants"
excellent location. staff was very courteous and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Trip was very expensive. Taxi to airport $50. Airline baggage charge $50 each way. $50 taxi to hotel.= $150 going + $150 returning = $300. Would have been nice if the hotel didn't upcharge for a room with a view. That was another $80 = $380. Went to dinner in the roof top revolving restaurant. $75 for rack of lamb.(4 chops and trimmings). It came with […] a salid bar, soup, dessert bar, and coffee. (VALUE $40) If you didn't want the salad and dessert bar, you could deduct $18. What happened to the other $22? Good thing we stuck with the bar. Had to load up on shrimp because the main course was skimpy. Dinner cost $245 including wine. Very expensive. Hotel was beautiful. Great location. The Grand Alley was right outside the front door. Lots of restaurants. Room was very nice. View of old town was beautiful, but had to pay for it..Staff were very attentive. Door men were excellent. Would definitely suggest this hotel but would remind everyone to bring a lot of money. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is in a great location - especially if you want some vibrant nightlife nearby. Walking distance to the old city. The staff was not particularly helpful, but adequate. No concierge - they were hiring a replacement, just hadn't happened yet. The bellhops were helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is cozy and well located. If you get to stay on a floor above the 10th floor, you will definitely enjoy a great view. The only thing is that at the reception, the staff asks you for US$ 225,00 (Most hotels in Canada ask for US$ 150.00 deposit). My credit card was blocked by my bank in the U.S., so I asked if I could leave the deposit in US […] dollars and have it back in the same currency at check out. I was just asking, since I did not know. The answer was no (ok, no problem) but the receptionist was so rude that she almost ruined my first day in this beautiful city. Moreover, the staff simply does not smile at you or make you feel welcome. It is like a 1 star hotel treatment- if there is such a thing!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We too the offer to upgrade our room to a room higher up with the view of the old city and that was REALLY WORTH it ($30 Canadian dollar + the awful Canadian Tax). We had an awesome view of the Old city night and day. Better than the L'Astral (revolving restaurant on top) since we had the best view NON-STOP.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great views of the Chateau and the Citadelle"
Confusing drive into Quebec but no mistaking Le Concorde--3rd tallest building with circular restaurant on top so great landmark. Room on 17th floor had beautiful views of Chateau, Citadelle and Plains of Abraham. Out the front door is Grande Allee--restaurants and the entrance into Old Quebec. Out the back door are the Plains of Abraham, with an art […] show the weekend we were there. No free WiFi but across the street is 2nd Cup which does provide WiFi for the price of a cup of coffee. Didn't eat at the restaurant but no problem walking the circuit and seeing the breathtaking views of the city. Garage ran out of space so had to valet park the 3rd night, bumping up the cost a bit. "good base for sightseeing"
Fun for all-the location was within walking distance -15 to 20 minutes - of the prime tourist areas. Need to realize that Quebec City is VERY hilly-lots of walking up steep hills-not very many taxis. The people are very friendly, very safe area, lots of things to do, loads of free activitiesGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great View Good Location"
The Lowes LeConcorde is a great spot from which to explore Quebec City. The main tourist attractions are all easily accessable on foot and the views from the upper floors of the hotel (we were on the 21st floor) are spectacular. Staff was very helpful in arranging a great city tour and providing other useful information. The hotel's garage is convenient, […] but somewhat cramped. However, we were happy to have easy access to our car to explore a bit outside of the city. Bathrooms were functional, but could use a makeover and better lighting.
