The hotel is cozy and well located. If you get to stay on a floor above the 10th floor, you will definitely enjoy a great view. The only thing is that at the reception, the staff asks you for US$ 225,00 (Most hotels in Canada ask for US$ 150.00 deposit). My credit card was blocked by my bank in the U.S., so I asked if I could leave the deposit in US […] dollars and have it back in the same currency at check out. I was just asking, since I did not know. The answer was no (ok, no problem) but the receptionist was so rude that she almost ruined my first day in this beautiful city. Moreover, the staff simply does not smile at you or make you feel welcome. It is like a 1 star hotel treatment- if there is such a thing!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We too the offer to upgrade our room to a room higher up with the view of the old city and that was REALLY WORTH it ($30 Canadian dollar + the awful Canadian Tax). We had an awesome view of the Old city night and day. Better than the L'Astral (revolving restaurant on top) since we had the best view NON-STOP.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A room with a view"
When we checked in, the check-in clerk spent lots of time with us and made sure that all of my questions were answered.Genuine Expedia guest review
"E xcellent location, nice view, very convenient"
It was very good, nice view, noisy neighbors (next room)Genuine Expedia guest review
"Outdated hotel way overpriced, mouldy bathrooms"
This hotel is old! The facilities need updating and honestly, for the price they charge, I did not expect mould in my shower and tub. Not did I expect peeling wallpaper in the hallway, and noisy clunky air conditionings.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great views of the Chateau and the Citadelle"
Confusing drive into Quebec but no mistaking Le Concorde--3rd tallest building with circular restaurant on top so great landmark. Room on 17th floor had beautiful views of Chateau, Citadelle and Plains of Abraham. Out the front door is Grande Allee--restaurants and the entrance into Old Quebec. Out the back door are the Plains of Abraham, with an art […] show the weekend we were there. No free WiFi but across the street is 2nd Cup which does provide WiFi for the price of a cup of coffee. Didn't eat at the restaurant but no problem walking the circuit and seeing the breathtaking views of the city. Garage ran out of space so had to valet park the 3rd night, bumping up the cost a bit. "Great location. Wonderful views"
One of best hotel dining experiences ever had. The food was wonderful. Only problem was the valet parking. Had my new camcorder taken by a valet parker or someone. Other than that everything was great would certainly stay at another Loews hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review

"good base for sightseeing"
Fun for all-the location was within walking distance -15 to 20 minutes - of the prime tourist areas. Need to realize that Quebec City is VERY hilly-lots of walking up steep hills-not very many taxis. The people are very friendly, very safe area, lots of things to do, loads of free activitiesGenuine Expedia guest review
It is walking distance to visit old Quebec city and nice view. But the hotel looks old and extra charges for parking and WIFI access and doesn't offer Self-Service Laundry facilities.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great View Good Location"
The Lowes LeConcorde is a great spot from which to explore Quebec City. The main tourist attractions are all easily accessable on foot and the views from the upper floors of the hotel (we were on the 21st floor) are spectacular. Staff was very helpful in arranging a great city tour and providing other useful information. The hotel's garage is convenient, […] but somewhat cramped. However, we were happy to have easy access to our car to explore a bit outside of the city. Bathrooms were functional, but could use a makeover and better lighting. "Nice hotel, close to old town."
Very nice family vacation. The hotel is close to charming old town. There are a lot of places to eat nearby. The hotel has a nice, warm pool, a hot tub and a sauna.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel, 10 minute walk from the Old Town"
Very nice hotel. Overall, clean and comfortable. We had a shower fixture break during our stay. Hotel staff came up and fixed it right away and they corrected the clothes line hanger over the tub (the bracket was upside down and the line kept falling). The water pressure in the shower was phenomenal! We had breakfast in the rotating restaurant on top […] floor. Amazing 360 views of Quebec! The food at the breakfast buffet was very good as was the service - it should be for the price. It was a splurge that we felt was well worth it! My husband, myself and our four children, ranging in age 7-20, left quite satisfied. There is a nice pool on a patio on 4th floor. The water was nice and warm (according to my children). I sat inside out of the wind watching through open glass doors. There is also a snack bar, hot tub and small weight room there. My children appreciated a nice swim after walking around the old town all day. Also, the many and varied restaurants that line the Grand Allee are just steps away. Perfect location. Wonderful view of the river and the old city.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Stayed at this hotel in my 20s when visiting from Montreal for the weekend. Seems like nothing has changed. Great location for Old Quebec but hotel seen dated and old and overpriced for what you get. Extra charges for parking and WIFI both should be free in this day and age.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Loews Le Concorde in blind offer Expedia"
The room had no fridge. No complimentary wifi in the room. It is possible to buy it but it is expensive (about 13 Canadian dollars per day and for each equipment)Genuine Expedia guest review

"Loew's Le Concorde gets an A+"
We very much enjoyed the Loew's Le Concorde. From the minute you arrive, you're treated as VIP's by the doormen, concierge and front desk people. The room itself was very large, with a lovely view of the Plains of Abraham and the surrounding neighborhood, and also the river. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was also […] clean and shiny with a fabulous shower. There was a refrigerator and 2 comfortable chairs, which was important since we were exhausted after 2 days of walking! It was a little bit of a walk to Old Quebec, but through a fun, active neighborhood of restaurants and shops. We also knew how far it was, so this isn't a complaint, just a fact. They do charge for wireless internet, which I just never understand, but its free in the lobby and they also have public computers available for guests. Loved this hotel (it was our second stay) and I would highly recommend it. Its a modern and contemporary alternative to the older hotels in Old Quebec, which certainly have their charm. We just happen to prefer a more modern hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice room, terrible hotel"
We had a nice room and the staff were nice, but I was incredibly disappointed by the "Loews Experience". The room rates are not inexpensive, then to add an expensive, daily internet connection charge on top was just price gouging. Because we arrived on a Friday night for some reason we were forced to pay valet parking for the entire stay. And the worst […] was the "spa". I paid $286 (with tip and taxes) for two massages in the creepiest, coldest room imaginable. It was a very dated room that had fluorescent box lights, disgusting dark carpet, a bad smell and two massage tables set up in a dark cavernous room. Unbelievable. The hot tub for this 26 floor hotel was the size of a home spa and was always full. Nice staff, the room was nice, the location was good, but I would never stay at a Loews hotel again. The Loews is still a great hotel but during this last visit I noticed a few details such as no room fridge and the carpeting on the stair seems to be in need of replacement. The staff is wonderful as they always have been.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not what we expected"
We paid the most for this hotel on our vacation but were least satisfied with our stay. Having stayed in the Loews in Miami, we expected an immaculate hotel but it was not the case. Firstly, we were told that the room we booked and fully paid for, with a double bed was no longer available. We were so-called "upgraded" to a room with 2 beds that were […] uncomfortably small. When we called the front desk to report our dissatisfaction we were told there was nothing they could do. One of the chairs in our room appeared to have dry blood on it and the ceiling in the bathroom had gaps in it that exposed plumbing etc. - in much need of repair. A bit a renovation goes a long way. The location of the hotel was great, in walking distance of the sights, however there was a lot to be disappointed about. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This is a nice hotel in a nice location. It sits right outside of the walls but within walking distance of the old city. There is a real nice park across the street and the other side is all restaurants. The hotel was a bit dated but clean. The revolving restaurant was real nice but we just wanted to have a drink and they did not seem too pleased about […] that. We got our drinks and never seen the waiter again, Had to flag down another waiter for the check and we just left the bill on the table and charged it to the room. This is a wonderful hotel. It is next to beautiful gardens and walking paths for those who like to exercise, It is also close to many restaurants and clubs as well. Our room had a view of the Chateau and city at night which was just beautiful. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. We also enjoyed the revolving restaurant and bar at the top from which […] we could view the entire city. We come here often and stay at Le Concorde Hotel because it is the best. "Nice place, prettier in pictures though"
The room was fine, it looked older in person, prettier in the pictures. Beds were very comfy and hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The view from the twelfth floor was pretty nice, we could see all of the Grande Alle and old Quebec, the river, parts of battlefield park. We happened to be there during the yearly celebration called......Grande Allee....live […] bands till late at night and hundreds of people up and down the street. We enjoyed it, but we could hear the bands playing on the nights we went to bed early. If you go during the week of the fourth of July, ask for a room having away from the street and you should be ok. Overall it was a nice hotel, but nothing really special. "Great! Near everything!"
The hotel at the end was great but when we got there, we had a few issues. The ceiling was leaking in the 1st room. The second room, which was an additional $30 a night, had a window that was completely fogged up. The 3rd room was perfect but also an additional $30 a night. The view was breathtaking and we could see quite a distance. When we were ready […] to check out, the gentleman at the desk asked why we had additional charges and my husband explained what we went through. He immediately apologised and took the extra charges off the bill. Once we were settled in the last room, the experience was great. The hotel is well worth it. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Wonderful site. Great staff"
I stayed in Quebec City for 3 nights for a conference at the Convention Center a few blocks away. This hotel has a superb location at the top of the hill just above the historic ramparts and the old city. The view from my room on the 19th floor was spectacular. The staff was wonderful, as you would expect from the sunny personality of French Canadians. […] Room service was excellent, with original cuisine and impressive serving size. The Concord is a great, clean, and modern hotel located in the best part of Quebec City.
