Great location, walk to old town, citadel and many restaurants. Dining room on top of hotel with great view of the city NOT OPEN, was being renovated :( and no parking for our car. Garage was full! We had to park in a garage somewhere else. Not very convenient.

Clean spacious rooms, fast check in and check out for a busy hotel. Good location next to Plains of Abraham and near The Citadelle. 10 - 15 minute walk to outskirts of Old Quebec. Numerous restaurants around the corner. Internet access and speed is very good.

Clean rooms, great view of Plains of Abraham from 23rd floor. Wifi didn't work in hotel room, though. Hotel staff was helpful, spoke English and French, and called a cab for me for the morning I was checking out. No continental breakfast, only a restaurant, which seemed a bit expensive, but so did most restaurants in the city. There is a small convenience store, though. The rate for 5 nights came to about $1000.

My stay here was great as far as the staff and rooms go. Everything was kept in a clean condition. Also, most of the staff were bilingual and that helped me out a lot. I was in town for a conference taking place at the convention center and it was about a 10 min walk from the hotel. One drawback to staying here was the unreliable wifi connection. Typically it got better when you were in the community spaces, but otherwise it was terrible. There was also this obnoxious music night on Saturday evening which I wasn't fond of when trying to make calls on my laptop in these community areas.

Pool was EXCELLENT, Kids with us (2-12 y.o., 1-17 y.o.) loved the lobby. View was perfect. , service very good. Checking in and out was a breeze. Felt safe and comfortable.

Stayed there before, however the quality of the hotel is not as good as before.The hotel is going through a change of ownership and is under going some renovations. The top floor restaurant is closed until the fall 2014. The staff was very nice but there was no one working in the lobby other than at the reception desk, no door man or concierge to be found.

Great location, refurbed rooms are nothing spectacular but they're certainly functional and comfortable. We didn't use any other facilities of the hotel. We tried to use internet, but could never get connected...they have simply failed to invest in the wifi and it doesn't work. That was VERY irritating...it's pretty much a basic offering nowadays, like a bed and a shower, and they made a pig's ear of it.

Offloading area too small for vehicles to park, staff at front door no very helpful, no restaurant at top of the hotel it was moved to lobby, hotel in need of overall renovation. The only pretty area is the lobby.

Overall happy but I feel they cut a few corners on customer comfort. No tea in the room, for example, and no toothbrushes when we left ours at home accidentally. Some of the staff at front desk were not knowledgable enough. Requested for a taxi to be called for our early morning departure and found it had not been done. Front desk could not ever be reached by phone from our room.

I was very dissapppointed. I stayed at htis hotel about 8 years ago. It needs renovationing. They need to provide a doorman and someone to help with the luggage. The staff was not friendly. The revoving restaurant is bo longer available. When our room was cleaned the bed had lumps in it. and they did not take our dirty towels or give us clean ones. I would not stay at this hotel agian.

Front counter personnel looked confused while initial greeting was not very inviting upon arrival . once entered into the room the bathroom and the room looked old and needed upgrading leaving me with the impression that it wasn't very clean . although it is very well located and surrounded by very good restaurants . I would not stay there again .

Thoroughly enjoyed the view from our hotel room window! Enjoyed our 4 hour walk through the historic district which was so close to our hotel. Disappointed in the cleanliness of one bed in room which had hair on pillows and sheet. Requested a change of sheets. We got moved from 9th to 23rd floor and everything was fine. We would stay there again and would recommend to anyone planning a trip to Quebec City!

Loved Quebec City. Walked everywhere, never used the car. Good Restaurants everywhere. Great visit at The Citadel....helicopters landed right in front of us during our tour. Old Town is beautiful and tourist friendly. A very affordable vacation.

Great view on upper floors facing the Frontenac. Hotel has spacious beautiful luxurious rooms and is air conditioned. The price is great and location is too. We walked in upper town to all the sites. Only problem is the wireless was only working sporadically while we were there in mid June. Hotel fitness area and pool under renovations. If those items are important, ask to make sure all is complete before you arrive.

My reservation confirmation stated a 4pm check-in time. We arrived at around 5pm and was told by the front desk that our room was not ready, but if we wanted a room immediately we could PAY an additional cost (same room - different view/floor). The front desk then proceeded to inform us that check-in times range from 4pm-6pm. Overall the room itself was acceptably clean; however, there was noticeable mold in the bathroom. Also, the rooftop restaurant was not operating at the time of our visit. I hope that future guests have a more enjoyable experience than us, but there are much better options out there.

While the staff was nice and the room lovely, the hotel was only half open. The rotating rooftop restaurant is only open for Sunday Brunch (not mentioned in ad material). Main restaurant was closed for 2 days of stay. When opened for continental breakfast they wanted $12.00/person for basic bread. Nothing eleborate. The room I was book on was 'Closed' (no heat , no power) and the staff was hard pressed to find me a comperable room. I would not recommend this hotel.

This was a great place for the excellent view of the New Year celebrations on the Grand Allee (considering it was extremely cold outside!). The staff was friendly and efficient, the room was fine. One thing was upsetting - they cancelled their celebration dinner at the rotating restaurant, so we went to the Hilton instead. This restaurant was closed for the whole 4 days we stayed (works only on Sundays!), and we really missed that. Otherwise everything was fine.

We stayed 5 nights in October. We walked to tourist attractions and interesting and familiar (McDonald's) places to eat. There was a club around the corner with long lines. It seemed very popular. And the rotating restaurant on top of the hotel offered a beautiful view of Quebec. We had a nice view of the park and the river from our room.The only thing dissapointing is that the hotel welcome book listed free shuttle to the shopping center until October. But I was told they didn't offer that service without any apologies. Follow by the question. How many are you? and a confirmation that they didn't offer the service. Three blocks from the hotel we took Bus #801 to the shopping center for $3 eachway. A couple of staff member were wonderful.

We got a great price using Expedia Unpublished Rate. We got the room by the elevator, like other reviewers stated. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The hotel is worn and needs updating. As others stated WiFi was slow and we were credited the fee when we complained about it.

My wife and I had an overnight stay at this hotel. We dined at the rotative restaurant of the hotel and were enchanted by the beauty of the scenery. It's in an excellent location. We walked into the old town of Quebec City from the hotel in the early morning. We enjoyed staying and relaxing at this hotel.

The hotel is convenient to historical sites, just out the door. The Joan of Arc park, across the back street was beautifully decorated for halloween. We had a wonderful breakfast at the hotel's spinaker on the top floor. This is an excellent breakfast that should not be missed. The fruit as fresh and ripe. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and even made a telephone call for us to secure a bus and walking tour for us. What a beautiful city and beautiful people. Our room was immaculately clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom also was nice size.

Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by their staff. All were exceptionally pleasant and helpful, especially the bellhop/valet area people. They were great about suggesting places to see and the best manner in which to get there... by bus, on foot, etc. The view from their revolving rooftop restaurant is SPECTACULAR! While their dinner prices were beyond my budget, but I did enjoy their breakfast buffet. The overall height of the hotel (26 stories), together with its unique round top restaurant, make it easy to spot and thus find your way "back home" from various areas in the city. The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable.

Not very friendly staff. Also was supossed to recieve vouchers for use in resturant or bar but was told at check in that becauase we did not book through them that these were forfieted.And that our rooms were quote not the nicest due to the fact that we booked through hotels . com

We really enjoyed our stay at Lowes. Everyone was friendly and professional. But what's up with charging $13 for WiFii when it's free at your competitors. And why is breakfast not included? We enjoyed the coffee in our room. Very nice touch! The Sunday Brunch was fabulous and lot's of choices. A Olmette station would add greatly. Overall a great stay. We will return!
