hotel itself was very good, but something needs to be done about the parking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! could not find a parking space all 3 nights we stayed there. our room was in the rear building and had to park up front by the Denny's and walk all the way back to our room!!!!

This hotel is old, but updated. Our stay was so so...$125 and we had no washcloths in our room and most of the staff was hard to understand. We returned later at night with our children and the parking lot and surrounding area were a little scary. I would say this is ok if you can't afford to stay closer to the city.

Our room was in a building in the back of the main hotel. With no car, had to walk about 80 yds. on driveway and over several railroad tracks to get there. Noise from the freeway bothered me all night. A car horn went off in the middle of the night and it took about an hour for someone to silence it.

Loved the room, very quaint and spacious. The next day while showering, I saw the mold in the shower. It was so bad, it had been painted over. Not a very nice thing to wake up to. There was a water leak in the bathroom, and when we called the desk, they said the guy is on break. We have to go out anyway, so it was never fixed. We did not bother to remind them too to fix it. other than that it was ok, the breakfast was fabulous for the price.

Hi we got there late and the staff got us checked in fast. Our room was clean but the shower had a dripping sheetrock panel over the shower faucet. Breakfast was awesome. There are two buildings and there was a real nice security guard who gets you from one to another

I like this chain and stay with them frequently however this time it was not that great, first off the hotel is split into to different parts that are seperated by railroad tracks and I happended to get put into the back half of the property down a path across the tracks and into another building. My room was next to another set of Railroad tracks that […] had a loud train that passed 3 or 4 times during my stay (once in the middle of sleep) the room was small and had a funky layout - their were not enough outlets to charge any of my devices and the room was a bit grimy. (the linens and towels were spotless) but the bathroom and sink area were less than clean. the elevator had a funky smell, of smoke and who knows what else. the AC/heat didnt work that well and it was loud. Since this was just an overnight stay in order to catch a flight the next day it was acceptable but I would not choose this location again. The staff were helpful but short, and the shuttle bus didn't run frequently enough another hotel I have stayed at near SFO the shuttle ran twice as often - not a big deal on departure but on arrival it is not fun waiting outside for 25 minutes when the shuttle runs every half an hour. Unfortunately we found a pretty stinky room (humidity, mold stink), dirty bathroom (mold on the wall) The bed was comfortable; during breakfast which is the normal self-serve found no personnel from the hotel to ask anything, there were a lot of people packed in this small room all in disarray and the hotel had no pastries. In the evening we went out […] and when we returned to the hotel we spend about thirty minutes to find a parking spot, smaller than the normal compact. The neighborhood is horrible; this hotel is next to a produce distribution plant. Check out time is 11:00 AM, but around 9:55 AM cleaning lady was knocking our door which make us very uncomfortable. Booked the LaQuinta SFO Airport North for 1 night stay. It's a horrible location - situated between a busy interstate, airport, railroad tracks and trailer truck stop! In fact one building is separated by railroad tracks from the other building. Finding parking is almost impossible! The rooms were clean, but very basic. There was wet paint all over […] the walls and room numbers were incorrectly marked! The front office never answers the phone so good luck walking across the railroad tracks at 11pm to ask for help with your room key! Read more

I found out during our flight to San Francisco there was some sort of huge conference that had 15000 people so rooms were at a premium which lead us to the la Quinta. We were only staying the night after a late flight but when we arrived we learned we had a smoking room which I didn't request and at first the lady behind the desk said sorry but were […] all sold out. We basically said fine we would be staying elsewhere then. As we stood in the lobby trying to find another place we quickly realized we probably should just stay there since all other rooms were either real flea bags or nowhere near anything. After some discussion they did have another non smoking room but it was basically next the highway so it was loud. That's better than quiet and smoky. Staff in the morning was helpful with us a getting a cab. Overall you get what you pay for. There is a Denny's in the same parking lot. I hadn't been to a Denny's in about 10 years so that was funny surprise. Read more

Overall this hotel served the purposed for what I used it for. I just needed a place to stay while on business trip here. The hotel is conveniently located near the SF airport. The rooms are kept well and clean. The beds are comfortable and sheets were clean as well. My only concern is that since I came in a little late at night, there was no parking […] available. I had to circle around the two lots in order to find a parking that is near the train tracks. But there was a security person who roams around the lot and he had been helpful on giving directions on where to park. I would stay here again but I'll be mindful to keep that parking issue in mind. The maid thaat prepared my room did an outstanding job. She even left her card so that I would know who she was. The made that cleaned the room the second day didn't do as well. You could see the difference upon entering the room. The ice machine on the third floor was not working. I reported it to and helpful. She was very professional.

In spite of the fact that we paid a decent amount for our stay, we were not happy about the quality of the service in the hotel for the following reasons: 1. Not enough hotel parking spots for customers. After driving around the hotel parking four or five times (We also witnessed numerous other customers who were doing the same), we finally asked the […] front disk staff for guidance. She suggested that we park in the Denny’s parking, which is located next to the hotel. When we checked about this with the manager at Denny’s, of course she disagreed. We didn’t want to risk our car being towed. We finally parked in front of the hotel in the fire lane upon the recommendation of the front desk. It was a very stressful experience after traveling long hours. 2. We were assigned to a smoking room although we reserved for a non-smoking room. The room was really disgusting. The carpet had many dirty spots. After just spending one night in this room, our clothes, including our jackets, smelled very strongly of cigarettes. All of us found ourselves coughing. 3. The toilet’s was not working. When we called the front disk, no one came to help us for a long while. When we called a second time, the security guard came to our room and handed us a toilet plunger! We do not blame the people at the front desk or the security guard. We simply think it was poor management. We strongly warn other customers who are planning to stay at this hotel, especially during a busy time of the year. Read more

toilet plugged, I called hotel office for service with the toilet, and what they did they brought me a plunger so I can do it my self, mold in the bathroom on top of the bathtub. Other than that it was OK.
