Room was not very clean. We did not receive maid service even though we were gone from 8a.m. to 4 p.m. When the front desk was notified, the room was not cleaned. We definately will not stay at this Americinn again.

The hotel seemed to be changing from a brand to an AmericInn. There was a lot of construction and painting going on (which is understandable). There was a filter of some sort left in our shower. It must had been rinsed off and never put back where it belonged. The price was really good and everything else was fine. Not really stood out as being wonderful […] or horrible. Was good but pool was dirty and very cold. As hot as it has been lately I would have thought that the sun beating in the big windows would've kept it warm. Leaves and stuff in the pool too.

I would have to say this was the dirtiest must disgusting hotel room I have ever stayed in. We were 1st given a room on a floor that was under renovation with painting going on all around us. We moved to another room and the carpet was so dirty that after only a few minutes my 18th month old grandson's feet were black. Only booked this hotel because it had shuttle service to the nearby Minnesota Zoo (this was mentioned on the website and via phone conversation). Nearby road construction made traffic congestion an issue. Many amenities within easy walking distance. The staff and room value were responsible for us extending our stay.

My only complaint was that the room had been recently painted and still had that lingering odor of paint. Staff was very cheerful and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Room was spacious and well appointed. Carpets could use a litttle more attention. Nearby construction made for some traffic, but many conveniences were within walking distance.

We were visiting relatives and stayed at this hotel with numerous family members. The hotel was full, with a wedding party, but the rooms are sound-proof and we were never disturbed by any noise at all. The major highway outside was under construction and we didn't hear that either! Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Clearly the "Owners" of the hotel were on premise, but they did not assist the front staff with the operation. When there is 1 front desk person to handle phones, questions, breakfast set-up and maintenence etc. something is going to fall short! 1 waffle iron broken, no forks, no batter and the "Manager/owner" was yelling at his employee to answer the […] phone! This is an OK hotel if your basically just using it as an inexpensive place to sleep and to use the pool. Disappointed on the cleanliness- the carpet had some sticky food on it and the bed linens had stains on them. Room was fine. could not use the internet as advertised. The hotel wireless was very weak and I could not get my e-mail. The staff told me to bring my computer to the lobby and hard wire it and use it there. This did not meet my expectations.

My room was so comfortable and quiet. Nice size tv and the computer room was a nice surprise. The pool and spa area was beautiful and open till midnight!

The beds and pillows were not comfortable to me. I woke up with a sore neck. Pillows were too big and too fluffy for my tastes. Breakfast was ok. Nothing spectacular. The sauna in the pool area actually worked which was a suprise.

3rd time staying there and seems to get a little more run down each time. It really just needs cleaned up. Carpets were dirty and in need of being vaccummed. Staff were very friendly but we will be looking for other accommodations next year.

The matress was very uncomfortable - could feel the springs. But the reviews indicated it was a 2 star hotel - that is what I got. Next time I will not take the customer's recommendation, will find my hotel next time.
