"Walk to restaurants"
Comfy beds, central location. Took in the sights of Philly and walked to restaurant rowGenuine Expedia guest review
Had a great time in this hotel with my girlfriend. Loved how there was 2 restaurants and a place to get coffee. Made it easy for us.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Yes, the title is loud plumbing. Everything was great except for the sound of the constant water. When the room next to us used the toilet/shower it was so loud you could not here the TV. Also, parking is expensive ($44 per day) but there is a lot a block away ($22 per day) that I used.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is beautiful but I feel they need more staff to help on busy Saturday afternoon check- in. The hotel is beautifully decorated and fairly new. The beds were comfy, and bathroom was pretty. My fiancé and I received an in room massage from relaxandrejuvenate and it was amazing ! I would definitely recommend that service. The only con was the […] wait to check in was pretty lengthy, we ordered room service for breakfast and after almost 2 hours it didn't come so we cancelled it and checked out . I found someone false eyelashes stuck to the carpet in our room which was pretty gross because I thought it was a spider. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great Price for a Great Hotel"
We arrived late unfortunately due to traffic but they checked us in at that time anyway which was great. Staff was very friendly and even extended our check out time. The Hotel lobby looked very nice and the room looked nice too. However the room was small and felt kinda cramped. Also the TV in the room wasn't working properly. The bathroom looked clean […] but some of the paint looked like it was starting to chip away. Other than that, service was great and everyone was rely friendly. "Elegant downtown Philadelphia hotel"
The hotel redesign is incredible. Hotel staff were professional and courteous. I wish they were more knowledgeable about the artists and architects that did the redesigned of the space. The hotel restaurant/bar was adequate for dinner and service was slow for breakfast. The hotel staff did not suggest the prime rib restaurant when we arrived at dinner […] time and asked where to eat. Didn't know there were other choices. Overall good experience and we would stay there again and again...even if we are republicans! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Almost completely perfect. 4.95 stars out of 5"
There was a makeup mirror in the bathroom that was very loose--to the point it was unusable. It wasn't really much of an inconvenience, but it seems like it would be really easy to fix and that this would not happened at a 5.0 star hotel. Also, somewhat more annoying was that there was no way to close the drapes in the room. Sure there's a shear curtain […] you can pull across, but that doesn't offer much privacy. If anything, it would make it more provocative for a peeping Tom. So change in the bathroom, right? I guess. But I don't understand how this setup helps me. I'm taking of minor stars for a couple minor things. All the major things like the room, cleanliness, staff, location, cafe, etc. are all just wonderful. You should stay here. Just bring your own makeup mirror and change in the bathrooms or in the dark. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Eh.. it was OK"
Overall, it was fine-ish... our room was a good size, the hotel front desk staff were OK -- I very much appreciated the staff's hint on cheaper parking across the street rather than in their garage. Hotel is centrally located, right near a number of things we wanted to do. The little things that were irritating that made this stay "eh" instead of up […] to par and expectations: 1) shower/tub faucet were slightly dysfunctional, meaning our water came out of the shower head and faucet simultaneously... meaning less water pressure for the shower, 2) heater was pretty loud, meaning we woke up multiple times during the night, 3) we put out our ticket for in-room breakfast just before the deadline (probably at 1:55 a.m. when the deadline was 2 a.m.), and it never got picked up -- I would think if you put a 2 a.m. deadline, you might collect them at 2:30 a.m. Oh well. We still had a great time in the city, but likely won't go out of our way to stay at this hotel above another one in the future. If the price was right, we would give it another chance. "Great Hotel Next to Rittenhouse"
We stayed 2 nights in early February. The hotel is newly redesigned, and we had stayed there when it was just the "Warwick" prior to the Radisson-Blu overhaul. The new design elements might not please everyone, it is Euro-Modern, but on a grander scale then the typical boutique euro hotel. The design is, however, very effective at channeling people […] flow, and front desk, lounging areas, in-hotel restaurants, and elevators are invitingly accessible from the lobby. The rooms were more than adequate, if not luxe. We got a very good deal here last minute on-line, and if the price were a lot higher, they would have some very stiff competition. The staff were all cheerful and helpful, from the doorman to the car valets to the front desk and the maids. This led to an entirely trouble free stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This hotel exceeded our expectation. This is particularly true since it was much cheaper than many of the other hotels in this neighborhood. Everything was perfect - the room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful and the location was great. The only thing we didn't take advantage of was the parking, because it was more expensive […] than some of the other options, but if you don't mind paying $20 more a day for valet service, I am sure its good. "Nice hotel, corporate drone staff"
We had checked into the hotel and were told that we would have access to the Carson lounge The next day we tried to get into the club and were told we couldn't. We explained to the front desk staff that a promise was made and we would like it homered. They refused and said they would not do anything about it until the staff member that promised the […] access came in that evening. The front desk staff was arrogant and quoted corporate rules. Nice hotel physically, to bad they have corporate frond that have know idea about being a customer focused hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Terrible shower, veryhard to regulate water temp and poor pressure, cheesy soap and towels, and unlike the Radsisson Blu London where we had complimentary breakfast everyday, no complimentary anything! "Nice Hotel and location"
Staff was short at check out regarding confusion over amount of parking storage cost. I don't believe she handled the situation very well. Also the bathrooms in the rooms are not heated so the door must remain open. Also no fans in the bathroom for ventilation which was also strange. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Hate to […] be nit picky but a 12 hour stay should be issue free. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good hotel, nicely redesigned"
The lobby of this place is as good as it looks in pictures. You can sit with coffee by a fireplace and read. It's lovely. The staff was great, but the bartender at the attached bar was sort of baffled one evening by our interest intent studying of the beer list rather than immediately ordering something. I don't generally go to hotels for the attached […] restaurant, so not really a big deal to me. Our room was nice, but there was some water damage on the ceiling in front of the window. The plaster had cracked, and there was discoloration. It would be nice if they could fix that. The clock radio had a USB slot for charging your phone. That's thoughtful. The walls, as I read in some other reviews, are thin. Noisy, night owl neighbors weren't appreciated. On the whole, it's a great, well-located hotel with very reasonable nightly rates. "Great location and staff"
We were very impressed with this hotel. We had never been to Philadelphia before and only had 24 hours to take it all in. We had an idea of where we wanted to stay but no real preference. We read the reviews and made our decision from there. We were extremely happy with our choice. The entire staff was very accommodating from valet to bell hop to front […] desk. The location was perfect. We walked to several local establishments, restaurants and shopping. There is a bar in the hotel and the first night we were there it has a steady stream of people in out. There is a highly recommended steak house in the hotel as well but we were not lucky enough to be able to eat there. Our room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom had a spa feel to it. I used the business center and was actually able to print and scan what was needed. Other places I have visited have had printer issues whether it be out of ink or something. As it turned out we were able to spend one night on the end of our trip and we chose to return to this hotel and stay again. The second night was equally as impressive. THANKS to all at the Radisson BLU. I would gladly stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel anyone whether it be for business or pleasure. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Nice, but noisy"
Not bad for the price we paid. Nice room overall. Bathroom was rather small and cramped, and the tile in the shower had been installed sloppily. The thermostat controls the unit under the window on the far side of the room, and is difficult to regulate the temperature. Bed was firm, bedding was nice. Nice size tv in the room. ............... Noise: […] 17th St gets a lot of vehicle traffic and horns blowing. Staff: the guy who checked us in was great - we went up to our room and discovered it had not been cleaned from previous guest. Went back down to the desk - he gave us a different room and coupons for free breakfast. Other staff seemed less helpful, almost disinterested. Guys out front (doormen) were nice. "Very nice historic hotel in the heart of Philly."
Excellent hotel, all the staff was so helpful and friendly. We were delayed due to a snow storm and stayed an extra day and the staff put out hot cider in the lobby, kept the fireplaces going, brought candy treats by, went out of their way to be sure we knew which local restaurants were open, etc.Genuine Expedia guest review

The Blu Warwick is a very beautiful hotel. The room was spacious, very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing that was a con, our room was so hot, even with the thermostat down to 66, it was an uncomfortable warm. I would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice Hotel, but Bring Earplugs"
A revamp of one of Philadelphia's grand old hotels, the Warwick combines tradition with modern comfort. Rooms are large, furnishings comfortable and service friendly. The location couldn't be more central. The only drawback is that the soundproofing between rooms in the old building is spotty and street noise is a real problem. Downtown Philadelphia […] is like New York, with an endless succession of car alarms and sirens at night, especially on weekends. However, that is the price of a great location. Having stayed there before I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had finished their remodeling of the Lobby spaces with a nice contemporary flair. The location is great if you are sightseeing or just ned a quiet respite from your hectic life. The steakhouse restaurant has that old world club feel with a live piano player. The coffee snack shop […] is fully stocked for all your needs and the neighborhood offers a wide variety of restaurants for all pocketbooks. "Almost But Not Quite"
I wish I could say better things about this hotel. The renovations are really really nice. It is very impressive and when you walk in you are really blown away by it's beauty. However, here are the negatives.... When I checked in (the people by the way are very very nice), I asked the guy to send up a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries […] so I could surprise my wife for our anniversary. He was very nice and agreed to order this for me. About a half hour later, we received a call from room service asking for how many strawberries and pricing of champagne which would have been fine except he asked my wife and thus the surprise was ruined. The order showed up 2 hours later killing the romance of it. When the order was delivered, the guy did not point out that gratuity was included. I asked him if it was and he responded "there is some in there" meaning "I want more" Just a little unprofessional. Next.... when we arrived in our room (which was nicely renovated), the toilette was clogged with toilette paper (I guess the maid missed this). I called the front desk and they sent maintenance to fix but it took them 45 minutes to get to us. Finally, when I requested my car which was valet'd, it took them about a half hour to retrieve which was really frustrating. I am sure these mishaps was just a little bit of bad luck and most people would be fine. The place is clean and nice. People were very nice but just seemed a little inexperienced. "Newly renovated, beautiful, functional rooms"
We first stayed at the Warwick 8 years ago, but it was nothing like this. The entire hotel was renovated in November 2013, and the rooms and lobby are now beautiful. Big lobby with lots of tables and seating, huge rooms even at the basic price, a television that swivels so you can watch from the bed or from the separated seating area, wi-fi for free […] throughout the hotel - just fantastic. "Short walk to Philadelphia Marathon start line"
All other hotels in the vicinity of the marathon were sold out, so I was happy to have found ANY room so late in the game. The Radisson is modern and eclectic and in a great location. "A newly created modern hotel in an older building"
While in the shell of an older hotel, this is a new very modern hotel. The windows are smaller than you would expect now, but otherwise everything is what you would find a newly built hotel. "Don't go to the Prime Rib restaurant"
The hotel itself was nice. Pricey? Yes, but you pay for location I guess. In the downtown area; we walked about a mile to Independence Hall. There was a wad of toilet paper stuck in the peephole of the door (weird). BUT boy was the Prime Rib a letdown. We were searching for a place to eat and ended up back at the hotel at the Prime Rib. The quality:price […] ratio is extremely low. The salad is worse than what you can get at McDonalds. The asparagus was overcooked and bland. The chicken was dry/crusty as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp. Aside from that the place was loud and the many wait staff couldn't provide us good service. We tried to eat at their Tavern 17 but no one came around to seat us. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Classy decor. But the HVAC system is broken."
The HVAC system is broken. We could not get anywhere between about 78 F. and 60 in our room. Even the thermostat in the fitness center was crushed and taped together with masking tape, so it wasn't just the one register that failed. It might be worth $75 a night but not the $300+ we paid.Genuine Expedia guest review
