"good for transit"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 21, 2012
stayed here before for quick visits in and out of Denver. newish hotel and great value. Staff always pleasant, good internet connection and easy to get to either with free airport shuttle or by car of the interstate.
"Excellent for airport"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 18, 2012
Comfortable, convenient with helpful staff. Car park was already full when we got there, so had to park just outside.

"Days Inn and Suites, Denver Airport"Reviewed by Jenny of "Wales UK" on Mar 14, 2012
Very convenient for an overnight stay either before or after a flight into or out of Denver. Efficient check in, sizeable and clean room and competively priced. A good choice for the continental breakfast. Would stay there again and recommend it to others.
"La Quinta DIA - Stay, then drive up the mountain"Reviewed by Kelvin H of "Surrey, UK" on Jan 31, 2012
It's winter OK ? You get off a flight from Europe as it's getting dark. So get your hire car (Hertz, if you're sensible), drive less than five miles, a quick check in, then get a bite & a drink from the restaurant next door. Stay the night here, and then drive, via the shopping maul (yes, I know), up the mountain in daylight. Having done it once, this is the way we will do it it from now on...

Contemporary skyscrapers and the historic Lower Downtown (LoDo) make up downtown. Situated near Coors Field and the Pepsi Center, local bars and restaurants make LoDo the go-to place for Avalanche, Nuggets, and Rockies parties. The Denver Art Museum, Colorado History Museum, Denver Performing Arts Complex, and the I.M Pei-designed 16th Street Mall satisfy the desire for high culture and couture.

"Curtis Hotel in Denver - Perfect"
I stayed in the Curtis Hotel for a few days as my base as I explored Denver. From check-in (with a warm cookie!) to check-out everything was perfect! Staff were fanstaic and helpful. Location is perfect for exploring Denver. Restaurant in the hotel was great - a mixture of classics and adventerous food, all a great price! Overall I would say the Hotel […] is fantastic and I will definitely be back! Read more

"Good value and very close to 16th Street Mall"
This hotel is excellent value for its location - only 5 minutes walk from 16th Street Mall. We only stayed for one night but the hotel is clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious, if a little on the pricey side. The only criticism I have is that the in-room water is charged at $2 per bottle. I have never been charged for in-room water […] before. Read more

"near DCPA"
Welcoming! ANA - my wife forgot her iPad on the lobby bench. It was turned in by someone, maybe a staff member, and we recovered it. Wow - honesty and a relief!Thank you!
Loved the funkiness of the hotel. Loved the floor themes and the talking elevator! Loved the proximity to the Theater where we had tickets for a play. It is very convenient to shopping and great restaurants. Everyone on the staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable...but, what we didn't enjoy was the inability to keep the fan blowing […] in order to drown out the late night "activities" in the adjoining room! Not sure if we'll stay there next time since a good night's sleep is also important. Read more
Nice change of pace from the usual Doubletree, etc. hotels.
"Perfect location"
The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect for all that you want to do in downtown Denver. The hotel staff was very nice and timely when we needed any assistance. The floor we stayed on was absolutely freezing, but thank goodness our room itself was a manageable temperature. Our room was incredibly small, I would certainly request something different […] next time. Between both of our bags there there wasn't much room to walk around. I have always loved this hotel and will certainly stay there again. Read more

"Wonderful hotel experience"
One of the best hotels I've stayed at. Overly attentive staff. Cute decor. Clean and spacious room with spacious bathroom. Right in the heart of everything downtown Denver. Nice retro feel. The hotel restaurant was so-so. As the bell man told me, there are over 200 restaurants within a mile of the hotel.

"Great location but paper thin walls!"
We loved the location of this hotel and the staff was very courteous. However we were given a handicapped room with a shower that had a hand-held sprayer. It would not stand up enough to let you get a nice shower. Rooms are small and the cleanning was the worst I've seen. They left paper on the sink and dirty wash clothes. They didn't even wipe the […] sink top. We could hear the next room as though they were standing next to us. This is especially a problem when they are getting ready to go out at 11:00pm and then come back at 4:00am and then proceed to discuss all their activities for the next hour. It was an awful nights sleep or lack of. My husband said we would need to assure we don't have a room that has an adjoining door next time. I believe it is just thin walls. When we stood by the elevators we could hear the folks in that room just as easily. I would recommend this for location but you are taking your chance on getting quiet neighbors. Read more

"Very Nice Hotel"
Room was very comfortable, loved the large shower in the bathroom. Only downside, thought the fee for parking was a bit steep for overnight stay. Will definitely stay there again.
"Great stay"
I have been going to the women's final four for 17 years. Not all venues are ready to take care of the women who attend. You were and it is appreciated. I had a very great time.

"fun and conveniently located hotel"
We stayed on the dance themed floor so every time the elevator hit our floor, dance music played. There were other fun themes for each of the floors. Fun, contemporary, conveniently located hotel. Highly recommended
"The Curtis Denver -- a must stay!"
Just recently I stayed a weekend at the Curtis, and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. From the valet out in front, to the room service, this hotel was a 5/5 for me.. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful throughout the duration of my stay. The Curtis is in a perfect location IMO for the Denver 1st timer, or the experienced traveler that […] just wants to see Denver again. Read more

"The Curtis - Downtown Denver - Loved it"
Took the train from Glenwood Springs to see the production of Lord of the Dance at the Buell Theater. It was one block from our hotel. Walked the 16th street mall, walked to Theater, no car needed. Short ride by cab to train station. Awesome martini bar. Staff was great.
"creative hotel"
It's a fun hotel, great location, and amazingly convenient martini bar within stumbling distance of the hotel entrance.
"Great theatre location"
The Curtis is as close as you can get to the Denver Center Theatre. The perfect place to stay when going to a show and within walking distance to the 16th Street Mall for dinner and drinks before or after. The staff is wonderful and the theme is fun.
"Exceeded all my expecations... but one"
I loved the Curtis. I have always wanted to stay there and everything, well almost everything, met or exceeded my expectations. From the valet who greeted me and gave me a tip about the meters, to the bartender who told us about a drink to try at our dinner place, and staying on the "one hit wonder" floor, it was all great!... Except.. the walls are […] a bit thin. The woman who had a very loud phone conversation at 6am, next door, might as well have been talking to me in the chair next to my bed. Once she was quiet though, the magic of the Curtis continued. Read more

Good hotel only bad thing is room did not come with microwave or refrigerator
"The Curtis Denver"
Pros: Only $20/night to park--cheapest we found in immediate area. Warm cookies upon arrival. Comfortable rooms and neat concept. I didn't try it, but supposedly if you ask the front desk clerk to play rock, paper, scissors with you, they must oblige. Not a deal breaker by any means, but kinda fun at any rate. Cons: There was no fridge/microwave in […] our room. If Best Western can accomplish the feat of these added amenities, I kind of expect a Hilton byproduct to be able to do the same... Breakfast is available in the restaurant downstairs but is not included in the price, and the food was really only so-so--other than the breakfast potatoes, which were Amazing. Overall, certainly not the worst place to stay if you're looking for a hotel in the 16th Street area, but not quite what I was expecting either Read more
Good location for Downtown Denver, you can walk to shopping dinning and night life...
"Great for a night out downtown"
The location and general decor of this hotel make it a great choice even for locals when staying downtown after a late night out. It has a modern, upscale-yet-fun vibe and decor that make it a great choice for returning to with your significant other after a night out on the town (and there's a Starbucks nearby to help with the morning after.)
"Killer Time"

"Went to watch Bears play Broncos"
The hotel location and price are about the best you can do. The water pipes had issue when folks would flush a toilet or shower, there was a very loud pipe banging sound. Luckily I wake up early so not so much an issue. Walls were kind of thin too, could hear our neighbors partying.
"tiny room, poor check-in and mediocre restaurant"
Poor check-in experience - highly snobbish staff, didn't offer any information and was very unfriendly. Room was very tiny and bathroom so small that you had to go into the bathroom and close the door in order to use the toilet. Brought our dog with us since the hotel was supposed to be pet-friendly. Nothing about our room was pet-friendly -- so tiny […] that my husband and I could hardly fit, much less our dog too. I am a Hilton VIP member and was very surprised by the guest experience. I would only recommend this hotel because of its location and the quality of the bed (very comfortable and with nice linens). Restaurant did not match advertisement and the disco brunch was nothing as advertised. Poor service. Read more
