A group of girlfriends and I stayed on a Saturday night while attending an event at the Pepsi Center. The hotel was nice, however at the time they were doing some renevations. There wasn't any notificatiom of these rentivations at the time of booking, which would have been nice. We ate dinner at the The Cornor Office which is inside the hotel. The […] menue was a little hard to read when you aren't a food connoisseur, but the food was nothing short of amazing. The service was a bit slow for drinks and cocktails. We were in room 701......, which quite frankly should be a storage closet instead of a guest room......so noisey by the elevator (almost IN the elevator) plus the room itself is not user friendly. Small vanity. Coffee pot inconvenient. Dark. Ugh!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel , very close to the convention center"
I really enjoyed this hotel. My ratings might have been higher but they were renovating while I was there. The business center was nice and up to date.Genuine Expedia guest review
The location is wonderful downtown. However, I did not get a good night rest. Upon arriving and getting into our room about 4 pm, we could hear a drill running in our room. I walked down the hall past several rooms to hear it coming from another room. I called the desk and they stated new curtains were being hung and they should be done by 5 p.m. It […] was after 5:30 pm. A group of young girls on our floor screaming and very loud--Had to call the desk at 10:15 pm. Could hear customers talking (normal tones) in next room after 2 a.m. and I could tell you their discussion almost word for word. Though I like the location downtown, I will not plan to stay there again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Stayed in march for conference"
Nice hotel, bed was comfy, room was clean. Quiet, even though there was a dance competition with hundreds of kids, the same time we stayed, didn't bother us at all. Service was great, very friendly and helpful. Love the corner office too, food was great!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel, but a few surprises"
The hotel was nice and clean, but they didn't make up our room the second day. I don't know why. It may have just been an oversight. The restaurant was extremely pricey. $17.95 for a breakfast buffet. They didn't provide even a pot of coffee in the room or lobby. The biggest surprise was $25 per day for parking in their lot. I've never had a hotel charge […] for parking when I was staying there. It would have been nice to have that disclosed before the day I left. I may have made another choice. "odor in parking garage and room hallways"
Nasty smell coming from the parking garage, which was Full and cost $25 extra per day. And the smell carried over to the 10th floor hallways. Room Keys didn't work in the parking garage, and didn't work on the room doors - had to get them fixed twice in 24 hours.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Right Place to Stay"
It was perfect for Downtown Denver and attending a conference at the Co.Center or anywhere else in that area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Love the hotel but"
Great place we've been there before but this time the neighbors were talking in the hallway at 11:30 pm. I called the front desk and they said that was ok.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"My overnighter at the Curtis betw train and plan"
I arrived late from the train which was using temporary facilities and there little in the way of cab service. the hotel does not have a shuttle. Once there I learned that there was no hotel shuttle to the airport either and that check out was at noon. My flight wasn't until 5. However, the staff extended my stay, the city has a city shuttle though […] intermittent, the hotel has a vey nice and free business office with internet, and all was well that ended well. I'd stay there again for the TV was big and the bed was too and the room was very comfortable. Ruth Chris steak house was nearby too.. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel beds were great, Hotel was in disrepair. :("
I love the comfort in my room. The bed was good the maintenance of the hotel leaved a lot to be desired. The flooring was ripped throughout the hotel, the bathroom shower had cracks in the base, the carpets need to be cleaned. No refrigerator or safe. I give it a mediocre score for professionalism.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel Curtis Is Great!"
Really enjoyed the hotel, the neighbor hood and staff. Excellent location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to everything"
This hotel has a funky vibe. It is fun to walk through. I did however anticipate more decoration on each floor. They are all named differently. Most floors have a picture or two only. The front desk was the most amazing service I ever had. The bar inside is Aldo awesome. We we there when construction was happening so we hot early hammering wake ups. "Themes can be a bit much but the staff are amazing"
Each floor is themed and, to be quite frank, some of the themes are a bit odd. However, the whole point of this hotel is to have fun and be jovial and they do that extremely well. In addition, I had some unique connectivity needs due to a work video conference and the staff went above and beyond to help me work it all out. The service, combined with […] its proximity to the conference center, mean that I will definitely stay here when I come back to Denver! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall a very nice stay. Bathroom wasn't as clean as I would've thought, but overall not bad. The vent in the bathroom had quite a bit of dust and debris in it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It's the little things..."
The Curtis seemed like the perfect location to celebrate my son's 13th birthday. Fancy restaurant. Fancy hotel? Not so much. We were pleased to receive our yummy warm cookies upon check-in. The front desk staff was kind. We were told we would be charged an additional $25 for parking in the hotel garage. WHAT?! After dinner we went back to the hotel […] and when we entered the elevator we noticed some of the trim falling off inside. We went to our room and selected an in room movie for nearly $20! And it wasn't even a movie still in theaters. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. The elevator I took down in the morning had torn flooring and looked trashy. All that for $185. It's the little things that can make all the difference. It seemed all the add-ons were penalties for staying at the hotel. Will we return? Not a chance. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location and plenty around!!!"
Love the elevator voices. Parking was a little high, but not out of reality.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great central location. Walking distance from to Larimer Square, 16th Street Mall, and great restaurants. Steps away from the theater. Wish the room was a bit bigger, I would stay in a room with the doble queen.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Fun hotel where each floor has its own theme. Location is fantastic, able to walk to several destinations from hotel within minutes. Stayed here for the 5280 Restaurant week, was able to park at the hotel and walk to dinner saving money on the parking at the dinner location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, but online pics are deseaving"
Hotel is in a great location and the front desk staff was very nice. The rooms were a little less than desirable. The pictures on-line are misleading and do not show the true condition of the rooms. Rooms and bathrooms are small and uncomfortable. Not at all what we expected for a romantic night in downtown. I will do more research next time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Beware of hidden costs"
Site stated parking available to guests.....they forgot to mention the $$$$$ charge per night that they spring on you at checkout! My husband and I met in Denver after business trips. Staying downtown was ideal! There are so many things to do and The Curtis was right in the middle of everything! It was great being able to walk everywhere in the evening. It was also a great surprise when we got our check-out that our parking was including in the room price that was quoted when we […] booked! We had assumed we would have to pay that when we left the parking garage. However, The Curtis is the only DoubleTree I have stayed in of late that didn't have cookies on check-in. "Great place for nightlife"
I loved how The Curtis was within walking distance to lots of watering holes. We had a great night out on the town and a funky place to lay our heads later that night. We didn't use the room service but it was really tempting when all you have to do is fill out your order and leave it on the door by 2am. Everything was ok, except I paid $25 for Parking garage then was charged twice! Now I have to take the time out of my day to call and correct the payment. Not what I want to do in the middle of my day. Very inconvenient and wish they could get it right the first time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great hotel, great room, but it was not ready when I checked in AFTER check-in time. "Great Location, Small Room"
Overall we liked our experience at The Curtis. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was awesome putting us close to many opportunities for entertainment.
