We stayed one night, which happened to be Thanksgiving. Had a nice turkey dinner at the hotel INDIGO restaurant, which was full of happy diners. Also had breakfast at the INDIGO the next morning. Very good! The hotel is furnished nicely and the staff was friendly & helpful during our short visit. We WILL book again as Las Olas is the perfect neighborhood for a stay in FLL.

I was almost afraid to check in at this hotel when I read the one review saying that the room smelled by one of your customers. To my amazement, from checking in and checking out - the service and staff was outstanding. If you luck out with a room with the city view you will love it even more. The boutiques, restaurants and sights around the Riverside Hotel and Los Olas are just as wonderful. Folks walking the streets way into the night. I will definitely go back again and have already been telling my friends and family about it. Kudos to The Riverside Hotel!?!?!

I needed something close to both the bus station and not too far from the airport. For the price, the motel was exceptionally nice. Really, I was shocked--maybe the economy and time of year had something to do with it. The room was clean and nice, with some character, the lobby downright swanky. The personnel was very professional. Starbucks, drugstore, and bagel shops only a few blocks away.

If you're traveling as a family (we had our 9-month-old twins with us), you'll want to make sure the room is big enough. Some of their rooms are tiny (the one we originally booked). Fortunately, we were able to upgrade. Overall, service and cleanliness was above and beyond. I travel a lot for work, and this is by far one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Location is also outstanding - right on Las Olas, so you walk right out and have shops and restaurants galaore. Safe neighborhood; quaint and picturesque.

The location is great. You are within a $10 cab ride to Riverfront or the beach. You don't have to drive or take a cab if you plan on hitting up Las Olas. The hotel itself is well kept and the staff was extremely nice. The concierge was extremely helpful. The one minor gripe I had is that the pool is across the street. Also, there is no hot tub.

My husband and I booked 1 night stay, for the price it was prety good for Riverside Hotel so we thought. When we checked in we were asked if we wanted to upgrade, we declined thinking there's no need to. We got up to the floor couldn't find the room at first then we back tracked to the elevator. The room was tucked in the corner behind the elevator. We got in and were stunned at how tiny and very old looking it was not to mention the smell. We thought we could just live with it since we won't be spending much time in the room but it was so bad that after 15 mins of being in there we decided to upgrade. Don't understand why they still giving out the rooms on the old side of the hotel. The upgrade room was nicer and cleaner, it was on the new construction side but for that price we could have stayed at a nicer/closer hotel to where we wanted to be.

The hotel was great! It was moderate rooms, enough for what we needed. They were very accommodating, we had 6 rooms for 3 nights for my hubby's birthday. I went before everyone got there and asked them to be in the same area. They switched all of our rooms to almost right next to each other. The pool is amazing there and I couldn't have found a better location. 5 minutes to the beach, the clubs and shopping all around! We will stay there again!

So, with that said, parking is either 18 for self park or 23 for valet. The hotel employees are GREAT they go out of the way to make you happy. I would stay here again.

We were first given a room on the 2nd floor in the "old" section of the hotel. Upon our arrival the room had a mold/mildew odor. We then went back to the front desk and were told that we could pay to upgrade to the new tower. After 10 min of disscusion they finally changed our room to the 3rd floor of the "old" section. This room was clean, however it was smaller then the first room. Other then the problem with the room, the rest of our stay was good. Nice pool, very nice area of town, 2 miles from beach.

I love to stay at this hotel while traveling to Ft Lauderdale on business because after my day of work, I can park my car and walk to one of a dozen good restaurants or go to a bar featuring live music. This hotel is not really for the hard core 20-something party kids so you can get a good night's sleep without frequent loud outbursts by Jr. letting the world know that drinking and ready to party! The hotel has both a "historical" section of original hotel and a new tower allowing you to decide the kind of experience you would like. (I enjoy the old school rooms myself.) If you stay in the older section, floors 4 and 5 do not have internet access.
