staying Osaka Hilton at July 2009 for 5 nights It's been comfortable to visit nearby cities like Kobe, Kyoto, Himeji. Deluxe Room was pretty big one comparale to other hotels in Japan but not so romantic or luxury enough to five star hotel. We have lots of Chenese Group tourist at morning breakfast buffet. Meals are fine. Service was quite right. but not recommand for Honeymonners and coupples.

The location of the hotel is great. You can get access to the Osaka train station, the subway and even some great department stores (like Daimaru and Hanshin) without getting wet even when it is raining. The staff are polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet is just great, with plenty of dishes to choose from and the quality of food is superb. However, from our room the view is completely blocked by the Daiichi Hotel opposite even we stayed at 22/F. One more thing, the LCD TV in the room is too small, practically making it difficult to watch TV programmes clearly when we tried to sit back and lean on the back panel of our bed.

The location of the hotel is great- very close to the main Osaka station. The room was very very plain. There are only two very pathetic-looking pillows on our king-size bed, with a very thin and hard mattress. Overall, I felt we paid too much for the room we got, although the location is unbeatable.

Your paying for a beautiful hotel ... and a mediocre room, more like a motel room (Holiday Inn rooms are often better). Uncomfortable bed with sheet and blankets (where the comforter and quality linens?), bathroom is motel quality also. Big, fat out of date TV, Internet is fast but $16 (usually free in Japanese hotels). The location is in the business district so you have to walk to the castle and the bar/restaurant/shopping area (although some good restaurants around the hotel, they're closed at weekends). Service at the hotel is excellent. Frankly, unless your desperate for the Hilton brand there are better options providing the same service but with rooms that you'd expect from a 4star+ hotel.

This is a great hotel. The service was nothing less than outstanding. The room was very clean and confortable. Everyone speaks English, which makes it a lot easier for us. The location was superb, it was a few steps from the train station and right next to a mall. It was not too pricey for the service and convenience it provides. I highly recommend this hotel.
