It was a great stay, made all the better by Tim who found out it was my birthday and gave us an upgrade - so our already great experience was made even more fabulous. The staff were great, the room was lovely and we had such a good time, we will definitely be back!

"Great Hotel, expensive extras"
A short business trip meant this was an ideal location with god access to the CBD and local restaurants and shopping. Rooms were comfortable and clean, and the on site restaurant does a good steak. Service was excellent, and staff were very friendly. I thought the breakfast was expensive, especially as you have at least 10 decent options for breakfast within 5 minutes walk (Starbucks, McDonalds etc). Only other issue was WiFi - AUS$16 for 1 hour was extortionate, a hotel of this calibre should be giving a free WiFi option to all guests, not just Hilton Honours members

"hotel very handy to all bne"
good restaurant but too noisy to completely relax , food and service excellent. some light globes not working beside bed, very annoying when trying to read,. hard to find light switches bathroom shower recess could be cleaner. overall a very comfortable stay

"Expensive and unreliable Internet connection"
Hotel location is excellent and rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is pretty good, although I was quite surpised that one has to pay extra for an espresso. Now for the downside. The expensive and unreliable internet connection was a real disappointment. With a charge of >100 AUD for a few days of in-room wifi, one should expect a pretty good reliable connection. This was not the case at all! The connection was very intermittent. Furthermore, in these modern days with many devices to connect (computer, mobiles, tablets), putting a limit of 3 devices per room is ridiculous. So if you are in town for business and need good internet connection, choose another hotel. The internet provided in the lobby was for free but was also of low quality.

"How Cental was this hotel?"
We decided to have a long weekend in Brisbane during the middle of Autumn. Wow, we had a great long weekend with a great hotel and very helpful staff. We took the opportunity to jump on the River Cats to go up and down the river as far as we could either way. The views along the river were great and it was very good way to see the inner city from different views. We also took a return train ride from Central Station up to Nambour for the day and the train ride was a very pleasant and memorable trip. We walked over the bridge to South Bank and walked along the river. We went to Fortitude Valley and experienced Brunswick Street restaurants and entertainment. All the while when returning back to a central point within the Brisbane CBD we found it very easy to get back to our Hotel. Thank you Hilton Hotel Brisbane for a welcoming and very comfortable stay.

"Great CBD hotel with excellent staff."
Arrived in the evening and was met by helpful concierge and reception staff. Room was comfortable, clean and suited us (wife and infant) perfectly. Staff were professional and well informed. Din't get to try out the restaurant but looked impressive.

"IT SIMPLY WORKS"
We have been staying here for nearly 10 years now happy to try somewhere wlese as soon as we have a bad stay but its always consistent location comfort service and without doubt value for money. Weather booking through here or direct through Hilton Executive suites are worth the little extra for the turn down service and lounge access however if like on this particular trip it was last minute (6 hours to check in from booking) a stock room will do we were down to see the new Cirque show and decided it would be easier to stay. Physical floor space of the top of the range room to the base house room is pretty much the same. iam sure that the Executive rooms do feel slightly fluffier with the beds but thats just nit picking. 24hour kitchen and in my opinion probably the cheapest parking in the CITY you are right where you need to be and its just great.

"So convenient for shopping and transport"
Spent little time in the hotel as weekend spent meeting friends. So close to everything. Dined in the Vintage Bar and Grill - food superbe with special menu that was affordable - meal and a glass of wine $37. Makes it easier for traveller when all food is not expensive. Lifts were a "dream run" - fast and responsive. Entrance from Queen Street a liittle obscure.

"weekend getaway"
weekend getaway for my wife and i,great location in the cbd, std room was fine for a couple of days,very much a corporate 4* hotel,way to go before true5*.Breakfast was plentiful and had a good selection.Parking was a rip off at $58/night.Service from staff was always courteous and helpful,would recommend for a couple of nights.

"A city escape"
Check in was trouble free. The Staff are exceptionally helpful and courteous, offering assistance before I could even ask. The room was as described. I enjoyed the Executive Lounge cocktail hour, and quiet breakfast. I love being able to return so easily to the Hotel whenever I want to, during a day's shopping in the Mall. I also enjoy the atmosphere in the Mall in the evening and the variety of coffee shops and restaurants so close at hand.

"Perfect city location."
The Hilton always wins when one is looking for a hotel in the middle of the CBD. It is a quiet escape from the bustle of the Queen St mall. It's lobby has a very quiet peaceful atmosphere (although lack of any sound absorbing materials mean it can get noisy if there is a group celebration.) I love staying here. HOWEVER, it is disappointing that whoever makes renovation decisions is obviously gearing the hotel to the single business traveller - not to mature aged couples or even tourists. When one comes back from a day's activities there is NOWHERE comfortable in your room to sit and have a quiet cup of tea and a chat. The 'chaise' is certainly not designed for comfort. And the desk and chair might be fine for sitting at your laptop but not for relaxation. PLEASE address this. It hasn't stopped us from staying at the Hilton but addressing this would certainly impress and make us much more inclined to recommend the hotel to others of our age. I do commend the hotel for its policy of allowing you into your room before the designated arrival time of '2pm'. When one arrives on an early flight, it is wonderful to be allowed into your room. Please keep this practice.

"Central to everything"
An overnight stay in central Brisbane to catch up with family. This hotel is well placed to access public transport, shopping and restaurants. The room we had was great and looked out over the river. The foyer area where we had drinks was drafty and cold. We had made a dinner reservation at Vintaged, the restaurant in the hotel, for 8:15pm but when I asked if we could go in early as we were cold they had no record of our reservation!! Fortunately they were able to accommodate us and we had a great meal with excellent service. Upon check out I was charged for a car park but I did not drive to the hotel. The lady at the desk did tell me that I drove a Toyota (which I don't) and rang somebody to confirm that this was charged to my room. When I refused to pay for a park I did not use she was willing to reverse this charge and refunded the amount charged. All of this could have been avoided if she had shown me the charges prior to processing my final account. She was very pleasant about the whole thing but something is obviously wrong if car parking is being charged to the wrong room. Check your bill!

"Great weekend getaway."
We had a wonderful weekend thanks. From our first meet & greet with Jake for parking the car through to breakfast & the wonderful friendly service from Kitty everything was as we expected. "Bad bed - slow and expensive car parking facilitie"
The bed was bowed in the middle and the pillows so large that I had a sore neck for days after. The car parking was so expensive but when we went to get our car they took 20 mins and then we were stuck behind another person reading a map for 5 mins. Eventually had to ask that person to move (twice) and finally the car parking attendants asked him to move (twice). We should not have had to do this right in front of the hotel!

"Convenient"
You advertised pool. There was no pool not even a bath tub. So they upgraded me to execitive suite The room had not been vacuumed and the bathroom was not clean considering it was the 'Hilton' I wasnt impressed. I was worried about the cleanliness so I pulled back the sheet and to my repulse a big black curly hair was on the top sheet. With a shudder I called reception and they moved me again. I changed and flopped into the bed and turned the TV on and you wouldn't believe it! I couldn't get any channels. So there you go. That was my lil adventure at the 'Hilton'

"Comfortable bed convenient location"
Mom and I really enjoyed our stay. The bed is really comfortable, buffet breakfast is great, would be better if a freshly-made coffee is provided as part of the buffet instead of filtered coffee. Bathroom is tidy and well maintained, would be great to have a bath tub. Also the basin sink plug is not very easy to use sometimes, perhaps it can be improved for other people's stay. overall great experience!

"central location in brisbane. Ok, not 4.5 star."
This is the first time that we have stayed at the Hilton and for a 4.5 star hotel I assume that it gets this for the central location to Queen St Mall. We were upgraded to the 16th floor room on check in but with the Mould in the shower and when opened the curtains we were greeted with weeds outside on the window ledge were not big pluses for this hotel. Television is small and remote control worked intermittently. This hotel is only a 4 star if we compare to other hotels we have stayed around the world. The breakfast was Ok. My final comment would be that this hotel is OK!

"Hilton Brisbane"
Really good hotel in the CBD and walking distance to Eagle Street, Queen Street Mall etc. Room are comfortable and I still think the best beds anywhere. As per all Hiltons parking $55, food and beverage expensive.

"Young lady needs replacing"
Great staff except for the young lady on the check in reception. She didn't serve us for ages. Just kept chatting to another customer without even acknowledging that we were waiting. Same young lady was not very pleasant or helpful when checking out either. Ben and Adam in the concierge desk were absolutely awesome. Always friendly and helpful
