The cleanliness of the room was ok. I was disturbed by the towels having holes in them so I had to get them replaced. The hotel amenties needed some work. Door didn't work to go upstairs unless you force it. The back door access didn't have a swipe reader so I had to walk to the front to enter the hotel. Very inconvenient and upsetting. Location is perfect, but lacks many amenities. No non-smoking doubles on first floor- I have a knee issue and had to climb stairs every morning and night when tired from long day. Remember when Ramada meant upscale? This was one of the (very) few open hotels on OSU game night. The price was cheap, so my expectations were not high. This place is well past its prime, but the staff were very friendly and responsive. Hallways and dining room were being renovated so it was dusty, but the room was okay. Breakfast was adequate. Close to Airport, but we had to get a taxi back to motel at 10:30 on our return flight (used park and fly facility at motel.) Motel reimbursed us for the taxi. The park and fly rate was great.

This Ramada is located on the skirts of a low income neighborhood and in need of cosmetic updates. Hotel staff members are hard to understand due to language barriers. They are not accomodating and hospitable, but nor are they rude and unfriendly. Upon entering our room, we were hit with a stench of urine and stale air. Our room was pool side, so we […] were able to opening the sliding door to allow some fresh air into the room. The carpet was thread bare in spots and the king size bed could have been a cement slab dotted with skimpy, over used pillows. The bathroom was no more than coat closet with an oversized, awkward toilet. The shower did have an adjustable water head which was a nice surprise. Other than the odor in the room, the room did appear to be clean on the surface. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, but neither were open during our weekend stay. The continental breakfast was pretty standard. We were not impressed with housekeeping requesting to clean our room at 7 a.m. and upon our refusal, entering the adjoining room and carrying on conversation in their native tongue. The walls are extremely thin and every word spoken carries through. The hotel is not one I will ever choose to stay at again nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. I hope this is not an example of what to expect of all Ramadas. I will in the future skip what appears to be a reasonable deal and choose a hotel and/or hotel chain I can trust and in which I have built good faith and experience. Read more

We were very disappointed with this reservation. The hotel was Ramada Inn Airport, but we weren't very close to the airport. The location was not in a very safe part of the city and the hotel was old. We had a sliding glass door to our room on the first floor. Needless to say, I did not get much sleep that night!

First sign was there was no hotel shuttle at airport, as was described on the website, which was one of the requirements for my stay. When I called hotel, was instructed to get a cab since the shuttle was not available. Hotel said cab fare would be covered by them, but not a tip. We were having trouble finding the place. So I called. I told her that we got off 71 onto broad street and went east. I wanted to know how far from 71 they were. She told me we were in the complete wrong place and that we needed to get to 270. I said well, your address is on Broad street, and we are on Broad street. What side of 71 are you on the east […] or the west? She said the west. That didn't make sense to me because I had looked at the map and they were obviously on the east side. We ended up turning around two different times. I figured out that she was saying they were on the west side of 270, but if she had bothered to listen to a word I said, I never said anything about 270, I asked about 71. A little courtesy and listening to what is being said to her would have saved us a whole heck of a lot of headache. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was very disappointing, some bagels, frozen waffles, yogurt, cheap donuts and danishes, cereal and toast. There was sausage and dubious looking eggs that obviously came from a powder and were WAY over-cooked. There was only one ice machine on the entire floor so we had to walk half way around the hotel to get to it. We were completely unable to get access to the wi-fi. The pool was nice, 3ft all the way to 12ft. You don't get the nice deep pools much anymore, so that was really nice. It was quite cold though, and it closed at 9 which I thought was a bit on the early side. Read more

This hotel claims they have a free shuttle from the airport. Yet when you get to the airport you have to call them and they claim it will take them at least half an hour. It ended up taking them an hour and a half to pick me up after i had to call three times to remind them i was at the airport. we had stayed in a ramada recently and found it to be excellent and thought this hotel would be comparable. took a chance because the reviews on trip advisor were mixed. we had to wait over 30 minutes for shuttle pick up from the airport while we watched other hotels making frequent runs. our driver was not at all friendly. the room was antiquated and […] in severe need of upgrades. the beds were hard, the carpet was old and wrinkled and the corner of the room where the ac unit was looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a very long time. the room was super small and it appeared they were just putting us in an area that kept all the rooms together so they would only have to clean one section of rooms to cut staffing. the bathroom was only surface clean at best. area was not a good area for walking to get dinner with our grandkids that we were traveling with. and the noise level was bad. we could hear conversations from other rooms. The room was not cleaned properly. The sink was stopped up. The curtains looked as if they had been through a shredder, something that you would find an abandoned house. It was located in a declining area and the maitenance of the property showed it. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The overall stay wasn't much to brag about, there was no elevator, no refridgerator in the rooms like motel 6 has, and no microwaves , like motel has. I just assumed that because it was lot more per night than a motel 6 it would have more conveniences. The quality of the service was alright, except for when our key cards locked us out and we had to use the hallway phone to ask for more. He arrived with keys for the wrong room and said he would bring back more, he never did, I had to go all the way down to the front desk to get them. The Continental breakfast was wonderful. The condition of the hotel was excellent, I had no problems with that aspect. The room itself was overall clean, although when we used the glass cups that were provided, the housekeeper didn't exactly clean them very well. The room was very comfortable except for the fact that the television was a bit fuzzy. The hotel was located somewhat convenient, it was near a McDonalds, a Kroger Grocery Store, and other useful places, but it was king of confusing to get to from our destination at the National Trail Raceway.
