Although all the things I read before booking I took the chance, for the price we paid for this hotel I definitely recommend it. Clean, room service, you need something they bring it fast. My family and me really enjoy it. Now if you are looking for luxury and to be all day in a hotel you don't want this. But if you are going to Orlando's attraction and need a place to "sleep" and "economic". This is the one...Once again I recommend it.

Location was about the only great thing about this hotel. We were literally 3 minutes from universal studios & island's of adventure. This hotel is great only if your only going to sleep. As far as looks, it needs MAIJOR updates. I went with a party of four and stayed in two seperate rooms. Our room looked horrible, one of our beds had a stain on the comforter, the sink looked like it was going to collapse and the television had no reception to w/e it is they're paying for in the hotel for our tvs. The shower worked when it wanted, as in the water would be hot one minute then warm then freezing. We never ate at the hotel so i can't critique their complimentary breakfast. I would not like to stay here again, their staff was scary and unfriendly. The area was great for such a dingy hotel. I think they should better manage this location, then it would be beautiful. I mean shoot the surrounding hotels are the hyatt & double tree, this was really a stick in the mud hotel. I don't think it was worth what we paid. The price you pay is only for the convienence to the parks.

The hotel two blocks from Universal and as long as your room is away from the on-site lounge, it is not bad for the stay. We stay here when we are in town for Universal because of the ease of getting to and from the park. If you are staying for more than a day or two, spend the money to stay at a better hotel.

We stayed one night. It was an outstanding value and location. SO close to Universal. Disappointed in the 'breakfast buffet', if you don't have a voucher, you have to pay and it's not really worth it. You had five choices, no juice, no creamer. The room itself was alright. One of the comforters was stained but we didn't bother with because it was just one night. So for what you're paying and its location, not bad at all. It's an affordable place to stay before or after a day at the parks.

The price was great, but the hotel was obviously aging. The room and property were clean, but nothing special. The shower was hot then cold (and I mean COLD) then hot again, repeat this about 10 times in the course of a shower. The bed was a little lumpy, but overall not too bad. It was very quiet, and while in a great location close to Universal, it was set way off of the main roads making it both very quiet and secluded, but also a little hard to find if you have people meeting you there. Overall, I would stay here again as long as the price remains low.

Overall a decent hotel. The room was clean when we arrived and fairly comfortable. The hotel is literally right across the road from Universal which was extremely convenient and very well priced for the location. Now for the bad news. When my husband and I arrived, there were no towels in the room and after a long day of traveling I was looking forward to a warm shower. I called the front desk and it took housekeeping almost two hours to bring me ONE set of towels. In the course of our three day stay our room wasn't turned down once. Again, marginally a nice hotel but the housekeeping staff needs to get their act together.

Fantastic location to Universal Studios. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The "needs improvement part" comes from having no breakfast available or coffee makers in the room (only vending machines)and a "local phone use charge" automatically added on to your room whether you use the local phone or not (this charge is stated on the check in). If you are looking for a place to just lay your head after a busy day at the park, this location is fine.

Overall, everyone was polite, and the rooms were tidy, however there was mold in the bathrooms, many of the appliances in room were old and rusty.. it reminded me of a "cheap motel", however the location couldn't have been better for the price. The only direct aggravation was the cleaning ladies pushing their carts several times every hour from 7:30am on, and the lawn maintenance crew consistently making noise off and on from 8am sharp to about 11. After getting home and in bed around 4 a.m. that was an extremely unpleasant experience. I'd rather have just paid a little bit more, but I was looking for a good price.
