The hotel and hotel staff were fantastic, great place to stay and enjoy Victoria Falls. The only service that I would avoid is the massage, the lady was terrible, uninterested and did not provide a massage worthy of the cost. {she thought I had my eyes closed however I observed on more than one occasion checking her phone, her top and figure in the […] mirror, in other words not massaging just using a single hand to move oil on my skin} it was the worst service (can't call it a massage) that I have ever experienced. Victoria Falls Hotel is the best choice for the location. However, the hotel is in need of re-furbishment, Rooms are getting dingey. Beware of rooms facing grass courtyare resembling prison grounds. The staff is very friendly and helpful, however, sometimes communication is a bit off. Staff missed a wake up call, by calling the wrong room, causing us […] to miss the morning sunrise at the falls. They come in in the evening and make your beds and close in the curtains and keep the room ready for us to sleep after long trips around on buses & boats. Throughout our week's stay at the Victoria Falls Hotel we were constantly surprised at the thoughtful gestures the staff took to ensure we were having a wonderful stay! The turndown service was fantastic--and something completely unexpected. The Victoria Falls Hotel has the best reputation in the Vic Falls community---even at other hotels and with other […] people staying in the area. We were very happy that we could book all of our activities in the front lobby! This was so convenient. Also, anytime we wanted to leave the compound, a security guard would offer to walk with us. The only time we took them up on the offer was in the evening because we had heard of some crazy elephants in the area! I would absolutely go back to this hotel. The Victorian feel is simply great! The hotel tries its best to balance the days of old and modern comfort, which means that flies and other insects may be found as the terrace doors along the walkways/corridors open to the outdoors. The room doors use keys still and shower head is fine once hotness of water is nicely adjusted.

The hotel had an awesome view and was within walking distance to the Falls. It had lots of space to lounge in comfort. We found some of the staff less interactive than in other hotels we used, and the food choices over the three days repetitive/limited.

A stay at the Victoria Falls is a step back in time. The atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing the view of the bridge is wonderful, particularly early in the morning when the brilliant red sun rises over the bridge. Dinner at the Livingstone Room was delicious and the service immaculate. The buffet breakfast is delicious and sitting in the plush chairs […] in the many sitting rooms reading a book a relaxing luxury in this fast-paced world. I would certainly recommend this hotel to my family and if ever I returned to the falls i would go back to the Victoria Falls Hotel. However, initially I did book a standard room and when I went into it I was disappointed. A small room with a double bed and although clean I felt it was too small for two people and there was no sofa so I changed tor […] the deluxe room and although more expensive we had room to move. I have to say that in all my travels, this room had the best shower. The pressure was so strong that it felt like my whole body was getting the best massage for free and the shower head was huge. Just loved it. The breakfast buffet was so delicious and the savoury mince was to die for. Best ever. The dinner buffet was extensive with plenty of options and the service was impeccable. Try the Pannacotta pudding-just scrumptious.Webster the chef obviously trains his cooks well. The cleanliness of the hotel was five star and I just loved the polished red cement walk ways and verandahs. They were so spotless, you could almost see your reflection. There was a pianist in the Stanley room who played the most beautiful relaxing music after dinner. On checking out of the room I couldnt find my spectacles and as I was paying my bill the room boy ran back to the room and actually found them which made me so happy. Returning after nearly 40 years absence was a marvellous experience. The hotel has maintained all its charm and quality. The surrounding area has become much more commercialised and busy but the Victoria Falls is still one of the great sights of the world and Victoria Falls Hotel is the ideal place to stay.

Das Vic Falls Hotel ist ein besonderes Haus,dessen altehrwürdiger Charme vielfach im Kontrast zu seinen Ferien machenden Bewohnern steht. Wer koloniale Anmutung mag, dem kann ich das Hotel nur ans Herz legen, obwohl der Dress Code im Livingston Room auf "smart" abgesenkt wurde (was ich extrem schade finde).

L'hotel nel suo complesso soddisfa tutte le aspettative.Le camere sono un po' meno all'altezza: camere deluxe senza frigo e riscaldamento per l'inverno sono al di sotto di ciò che ci si attende. Il famoso the delle 5 offerto dall'hotel in realtà c'è solo chiedendo un voucher apposito alla direzione.
